I invited Mr [redacted] in and met with him to discuss his concerns. We both left that meeting several months ago and I agreed to fix some scratches on his front bumper and return a check for tint and Mr [redacted] assured me he was happy after those concerns were met..... I have addressed these concerns and...
resolved them in good faith and Mr [redacted] bought the car and signed the credit application with the information he provided. We appreciate Mr [redacted] business look forward to servicing his car needs in the future.
Ms. [redacted] filled a credit application for us to obtain finance. We were unable to secure financing for her. Ms. [redacted] drove our car for 4 months. We finally reached and asked her to come in and return the vehicle. She allowed us once again to try and obtain finance for her and we were unable to. We unfortunately do not do owner finance. We are unable to remove credit inquiries if she gave us permission to seek finance for her.

I am rejecting this response because:
It is a lie. I was told the invoice for my car was in their storage and that they didn't have anyone to go the storage to get it nor did they know when they would be able to get there to locate the invoice. The warranty paperwork that I requested was not even the paperwork I signed with them. I was provided with a computer screenshot of something showing a warranty expiration. I have been told that it is the law that the dealership provide me with the documentation needed to file for my GAP insurance. [redacted] have all said I would receive return phone calls about my request and I have not been contacted. Their response by this manager who has also not contacted me is false information to the Revdex.com.

Iwould be more than happy to accept this response if Clay Cooley would send me the images of the used trucks and cars I do qualify for @ zero down that are currently in stock with a preference towards trucks but not limited to also interested in cars. Thank you all I really want to do is be able to get into a vehicle and get back and forth to work and to the hospital when my grandchild is born. I was approved at 15,000 to 20,000. Ty

I am rejecting this response because:Why was a check that was written on January 30 mailed out 3 weeks later? Also why was a check that supposedly mailed out almost 2 weeks ago still not arrived...
to a location that is an hour away. This is bad business and you should tell people when they purchase a vehicle and you suggest the extended warranty that you have to go through all of this to cancel it.

I am rejecting this response because:Blaming this on an independent ASE Certified mechanic that performed engine work is disingenuous. The problem lies with a faulty exhaust header pre-cat. Anyone with a computer can perform a basic search on this Nissan's catalytic issue. I will refrain from using the language most people use to describe Nissan here. The problem is my car was worked on, but the cat wasn't replaced. The cat later made the repair worthless because it destroyed the engine anyway. I have already verified with a second independent Austin auto repair shop that this was the case. Their mechanic was VERY familiar with this issue. He said it wasn't just the Altima, it was the particular engine and exhaust header that were placed in Sentra's the same year. YouTube shows instructions on how to remove the header and cat and replace with a racing exhausted header, and to do it before the cat destroys the engine. The problem with Clay Cooley Nissan is after both of my Nissans had their cats replaced (after one destroyed an engine already) they told me the new cat solved the problem of the poorly engineered original part. Obviously lied to twice.

I am rejecting this response because: the cash price was never negotiated, we thought we were paying sticker price, we were not aware that the additional $4,010.00 was added, and we never would have signed the contract had we been aware. This additional charge was never explained nor shown as we never saw a itemized list of the charges.

I spoke with [redacted] this afternoon and advised her that she could come and pick up the gap cancellation check today at her convenience. The cancellation check was processed on Oct 13, 2017 but we could not release the check until we had the payoff verification from the lien holder. We...
received the information on November 1, 2017. I addressed with [redacted] her desire to cancel her other warranties. I asked if today or Monday would be better to come in and fill out the paperwork to get the process started, she said she will be back in on Monday to do that.
[redacted], the [redacted] family bought 2 vehicles from us and we negotiated them as 2 car deals. One of the deals had a trade-in that had severe inequity and the only way to put the deal together was to blend the inequity into both deals. The [redacted] family was well aware of the complete transaction...
and was communicated with in Spanish as the salesperson, the sales manager and the finance manager all speak Spanish. The family came back in to resign the transaction a few days later because we received a better interest rate from the lender, a week later the daughters showed up to the dealership wanting to communicate about the transaction and were very upset that we could not communicate with them because they were not on the deal. The daughters were not here during any of the negotiations. We sold the [redacted] family 2 vehicles in good faith and made them a fair deal. Please don’t hesitate to call or email with any further questions. Thank you,[redacted] General Manager Clay Cooley Nissan [redacted]

[redacted] please accept this as our formal response to the Revdex.com Complaint filed by [redacted] We sold [redacted] a Nissan Versa as she explained in her complaint and she had mechanical problems early on. We determined the right thing to do for her was to swap the vehicle out for...
another Versa. The customer came in and swapped vehicles and we did what is called a vin swap with the lender and that allows the lender to keep the same collateral but change the vehicle. The customer assumed she was starting over on the days to first payment and that was not the case or she would have had to sign a new contract and signing a new contract was not an option. I am sorry for the misunderstanding and should have been more clear going through this process as our only goal was to make this customer happy with getting her a new car that she felt more comfortable with. We certainly appreciate her business and look forward to helping in any future service needs. Thank you, [redacted] General Manager Clay Cooley Nissan [redacted]

We apologize again for any inconvenience ,however as stated before we can only sell a car that meets the approval from the bank. We are not a lending institution...if we don't have a vehicle that meets your requirements ...we cannot go against what the bank says .We would be glad to assist the customer in trying to purchase a car of their likening ,however whatever the bank says they will loan we must adhere to those guidelines.
I recently purchased a vehicle at Clay Cooley Nissan in Austin, TX. My wife and I arrived with a USAA quote and were immediately whisked away with a normal sales person, stating that the internet sales person was busy but they would help us. They refused to honor the price outright, and made us haggle down to it after hours of frustration and waiting, stating that the quote we got was for a different model (it wasn't). We also negotiated the installation of an after-market truck bed cover, which was to be a fiberglass and painted to match the truck, quoted to be valued at $1,200. What we got 3 days later was a plastic, base model cover valued online at about $800. We were told the painted cover was unavailable and they'd immediately process a refund for the difference. It's been over a month and still no refund has arrived. We recently moved out of the state, or else I'd be at the dealership every day raising a stink until we received our refund. Unfortunately, they know we're not going to hire a lawyer for $400.
