Review: I signed a service agreement with Click4support for lifetime antivirus and unlimited technical support for software and periperals. It cost me $1698 for this service . I have tried calling the [redacted] phone number and sending emails to their ceo, support and customer service to no avail. they just come back as undeliverable. I believe that this is a fraudulent company .Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $1698 refunded asap!!!

Review: In February 2015 my call to [redacted] service for computer protection and optimization was answered by technicians in [redacted] that ultimately were found to be affiliated with the [redacted] .net website. They attempted to "fix" my computer and then told me the bill was approximately $300 - they also sold me a protection plan/service plan that reportedly provided service/protection for 5 computers for 5 years. They also removed my [redacted] security and sold/installed another antiviral program. The total cost for all this was approximately $ 1300. My computer has repeatedly experienced the same lock-up issues despite their 5-6 attempts and promise to fix the problem.Desired Settlement: Full refund of purchased contracts / services

Review: I thought I was being connected to [redacted] tech support but got this company instead. They deceived me into believing something was wrong with my computer when [redacted] actually changed options location. I was told this by C4S AFTER they entered my computer, pressured me into buying their service and ruining my computer. I have to buy a new one. They charged me 5 xs more for a product I could have downloaded myself for far far less. I've requested a refund but they agreed to only a partial refund. I want a FULL REFUND since my computer was damaged by their technician who failed to check whether my computer's OS was compatible.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund since I have to buy a new computer due to their meddling.

Dear Revdex.com,

Please be advised that at the direction of the Owner of Click4Support, I have issued Ms. [redacted] a full refund. Please find attached a copy of the refund and the email communication to Ms. [redacted].

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: I was trying to fix problems with my printer and was directed to this company. They told me that they are the only certified company that could resolve this problem. They did help to fix the printer issue but after I signed a 3 yr contract for $398. I was informed by my children that this was probably not true ( certification) and that I could have gotten help elsewhere for a more reasonable price.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund for the 3 yr contract as the credentials they claimed they had and were required to fix my printer issue was indeed not true at all.

Review: My husband was on our computer and it locked. He found the number for Click 4 Support and called the number thinking it was part of the service from our Security. He was talking to a person in India who claimed we were having trouble with the "network". He indicated the trouble was not with the computer or the internet service but with the "network". He then got on our computer drawing diagrams that did not make sense. He ([redacted]) claimed there were 11 unauthorized or foreign entites on our computer system. He stated our status was critical. He claimed the cost of $1998 would include lifetime support for anything we needed for security and support. My husband asked for a copy of the "contract" but [redacted] stated he was unable to print it. He also indicated he would call back in a few hours. He never called back. Instead we called him back at which time he indicated we only had coverage for a year. He was to put a supervisor on the phone but he never did. We also requested he cancel any "contract" but he refused to listen to our request. Instead he continued to increase the length of our "lifetime" contract to 2 years then 3 years. Despite repeated requests to cancel any "service" he refused to do so and our credit card has a pending charge of $1,998.43. The only thing [redacted] did was to remove the [redacted] program we had and replaced it with webroot. Webroot is not a $1998 product.I want to make sure we are not charged for the bogus "service" provided by this company.Desired Settlement: I would either like the charge of $1998.43 blocked from being processed or if already processed I want a full refund.

Review: My complaint is on the Company "click 4 support" they are a fraud. They invaded my privacy and scammed 299$ out of me.

On June 22,2013, I contacted a company "click for Support". I was told they worked for [redacted]. My computer was having email issues, which I asked for help with. They scammed me into letting them get into my computer through [redacted].com and they would fix my problem. They told me I had been hacked and it will cost $299 to fix and have a life long clearance of hackers. And a 1 year support service. Today on June 23, 2013 my problem with email was still happening. I called the X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and music was playing for 5 min then disconnected me twice. I called for another department and twice I got disconnected. I referred to my cell phone which they had called me on yesterday at XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX and the employer answered. I told them of my situation and was furious that I let them into my computer, they had access to all my accounts, they lied and said they worked for [redacted] and they didn't answer the support help number 2 times. one manager told me that india was in a flood so thats why they didn't answer, however the company is in CT. After 20 min on the phone I refused to pay for this ridiculous scam, my computer is even more messed up, they transferred me to 'billing" and said" Our billing department can't do anything right now and hung up on me". I then got on the computer with [redacted], they helped me get this company "click 4 support" out of my computer by trashing [redacted].com and now Im disputing $299 with my cc company. This company is a scam!!!! My computer was never hacked from anyone but this company "click 4 support".

' Desired Settlement: I am looking for a full refund of 299$ and for this company to be exposed to public!!! THey are not an honest company, stealing money from people.

Review: I had a technical issue with my computer. I called the manufacturer and I was connected to this company. given that I was routed to them by the PC manufacturer I trusted them. After 60 minutes on the phone and a well rehearsed doomsday scenario picture I was sold a $799 lifetime network support package. This was on Nov 3rd. for the last 2 weeks they have been calling to tell me that something is wrong with the automatic updates. yesterday finally spent an hour with them on the phone. Another doomsday scenario unfolded and they wanted to charge me again for the fix; even after I already paid $799. I ended the call and have field this complaint. I will also instruct my CC to not accept any charges from this merchant. I believe they are engaging in deceptive practices. They told me my computer was infected. When I said I would change it as it was a old obsolete computer they told me the problem was my router. I also indicated that I would buy a new router. To this they then said the problem was the server. This is a scam in my opinion.

summary: Their product did not work and was sold as a lifetime service. They tried to charge me again. problem persists.Desired Settlement: Would request a refund and no more contact.

Review: I contacted [redacted] internet router online support to reset the password on my [redacted] router. The an agent I spoke with transferred my call to another agent at Click4Support. I asked the agent if this was a scam. He laughed and told me that scammers usually call you...you don't call them. He proceeded to tell me that my computer had been violated by multiple foreign "traffickers" and was at high risk for malicious activity. In order to resolve the password issue I would need to pay $295 PLUS select a service to resolve the trafficking and malicious activity. I was offered three options, one year, three years and lifetime. As I was on the phone I saw a 45 day money back guarantee on the website Clic4Support. SO I thought I would give it a go and would have 45 days to consider whether this was the right choice for me.

I read multiple online reviews following the conversation, all of which were negative and this is indeed a scamming company. I contacted Click4Support by phone twice and by email and online customer support three times. I got a call back from the financial dept saying that they were still charging me $800 to reset my router password, and that I had purchased software, not refundable. This was not the understanding I had from the website.

End of the day they refunded $900 of the $1499. So it cost me $600 to change my password. I am terribly disappointed and embarrassed that this type of business is permitted to continue functioning. There was pressure all through the transaction. I would not have gone any further than the first few minutes had it not been for the 45 day money back guarantee which they post in the website. This is deception at its finest.Desired Settlement: Entire amount $1499 although I am willing to pay the usual and customary fee which would be charged to reset a router password.

Review: I am making this complaint based on two separate issues involving Click4Support.I received a telephone call on Dec. 30, 2013. The male caller with a familiar sounding voice said that he was calling to transfer a refund of $451 for software I had purchased on Nov. 3rd from Click4Support who responded to an (800) call I made seeking [redacted] technical support. After many hours of telephone connection extending from 11/3 to 11/4, I was billed $1283 on three different invoices which were charged to two different credit cards. The reason for my panic call was that I had strong evidence that my computer and email account were being hacked. The Dec. caller asked to take control of my PC in order to download the refund form and gather my credit card information. He opened a form from [redacted], which I questioned but he said that was the easiest route to transfer funds back to my credit card. After I completed the form, he took me to the Event Viewer on my computer to show me how the software had been causing injury to my computer and said that he would need time to repair the Error and Warning notices -- a stalling tactic. He asked me to leave my email account open so that I would receive a confirmation of the refund transaction. He came back on the phone to ask if I had received it in my Outlook account. I replied that I had not. After a couple of tries to download new emails, I decided to go to the provider account where my email is stored. I found an email from [redacted] titled money transfer confirmed, in which I learned that I had 'authorized' a transfer of $650 with a $65 transfer fee to an individual in [redacted]. The caller had deleted the email in Outlook. I immediately called [redacted] trying to cancel the transfer. They told me that the money had already been picked up, suggesting that the man was standing in the ** office in **. [redacted] recommended calling the credit card source and the local Police Dept. which I did.Desired Settlement: Because I did not receive the anti-hacking service from Click4Support and after having been scammed by someone who said he represented them, I am requesting a refund of $1283. I had to replace the desktop computer which continued to malfunction. I called back about two days after the 11/3 - 11/4 contact to complain. My call was ignored as was an electronic message I sent on the C4S website. I have filed a report with the FBI internet crimes dept. reporting the [redacted] scam.

Revdex.com,

I purchased an protection policy for my computer in January 2015. Tried to contact them with a problem with my computer can't reach them with phone number they provide. I paid 999.00 for this for a three year subscription.

Review: I used Click4 Support to manage the tech issues I had with my home computer. I paid $699. It is a scam. They have called to refund my money, but want to place it on the card that was used to pay for the charges. That card no longer exists, because I had to cancel my banking accounts and get new accounts because they tried to withdraw money form my account.

I have as them to mail me a check and they say cantDesired Settlement: I want them to send me a check for the full amount of $699

to my address

[redacted], [redacted]

If they intend on making me happy they can mail it. I will not give them any additional information.

If this is not handled promptly, I will file a complaint with the attorney general.

Review: A complaint from the Revdex.com was sent to Click4support on 6/16/2015. (complaint ID [redacted]) The reason I'm writing now is because I have been charged $498.00 a second time for a service that I did not request on April 17 2015.

On June 19, 2015 I received a full refund from [redacted].com [redacted] (a different name).

On July 27 2015 I noticed a new bill from Click4Support on my old [redacted] number. I called my bank regarding this but it had already been transferred to my new [redacted] number and paid.

Once again I am asking for your help.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund of $498.00

Review: Approximately a year ago I hired this company to help me with computer problems. They asked to go into my computer through the internet and claimed that they could fix it for $599 for 2 years. After less than 2 years was up and I refused to "renew" all of a sudden I had many viruses and malware and my hard drive failed. I had to take my computer to a local technician, they found this company to be invasive enough to the point of computer failure being the cause of what this company had done.Desired Settlement: I would like my $599 returned to me since I was not given the service that I deserved, in fact I was given service that destroyed my computer!

Review: I purchased [redacted] TV and couldn't connect to TV. I called the number I found on [redacted] HP, and talked to Tech Support about the problem. They said there is a problem in my internet security, so they had to fix. I told them the problem is TV connection. They had to remote access to my PC and did something. They showed me how my PC is in danger. They were very aggressive and scared me. I had to fix it otherwise my personal info is all hacked. They said to fix that they had to charge $299. and they asked me credit card number. I gave them. They told me the credit card will show Click4support. not [redacted]. I was thinking I was talking to [redacted] Tech Support.

I wanted to cancel it because it is too expensive and I couldn't trust Click4support, so I told them I want to cancel. They said they already charged to my Credit card and they cannot cancel. They install Free Spyware to my PC, but I felt it is not right, so I told them I cannot trust you so please cancel and refund, but they said if they stop doing that, the problem would never fix. I just hang up my phone, and turned off my computer. They didn't fix my TV connection problem of course.

After my husband came home, he found the problem was cable. he fixed it so easily. and I knew Click4support was trying to do something else.Desired Settlement: I want refund $299. Please refund. You did nothing.

Review: CLICK4SUPPORT.NET IS A TECH SUPPORT SERVICE FOR COMPUTERS.Desired Settlement: I paid them $499.00 on 8/21/2013 to help me fix my computer problems. They helped me for one year. I was told at the time that for $499.00 that they would work on 3 computers and a printer for 100 hrs of services every year for the lifetime of the computers and printer. Free updated versions of all the latest software and antivirus will be installed. Install anti hacking services tool for free. Thay wrote all this on Note pad on my computer but it is untitled. They lied to me...

Review: I allowed Click4Support to remotely access my bank account on the basis that they assured me they were going out of business and they wanted to refund my $200 for service contract. They said they were no longer in contact with [redacted] and had to deposit it directly into my account. When they got into my account, instead of depositing money from THEIR funds, they switched money around in my accounts and tried to convince me that they had 'Accidently' deposited $1000 into my account and now I MUST get down to [redacted] IMMEDIATELY and wire back $1000 American dollars to [redacted] in India. I contacted my bank and verified that they had NOT deposited money into my account, but only transferred MY money from various accounts and claimed to have overpaid me. When I did not wire the $1000 to India, they infected my computer with a bad virus that cost me $500 to get repaired.Desired Settlement: This 'Business' totally needs to be put out of operation. When they called me, they insisted they were going out of business that night and could only refund my $200 by direct deposit into my account. They need to refund the $200 back on my [redacted] card from where they first took it.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

Please find attached a copy of my email communication sent to [redacted]. $200 was refunded on April 15, 2014.

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: On November 18, 2014 I called Click 4 Support because my [redacted] would not print. I bought the printer 12 months ago and it was working perfectly, then suddenly, it would not print. I spoke with the first technician and his name was [redacted]. [redacted] assured me that he would find the problem and fix it. After four hours of working on my problem he finally referred me to a “Senior Technician” named [redacted]. [redacted] worked on the problem for an additional 3 hours, at which time I told him I had to take care of personal business. I asked him if he could call me the next day (November 19, 2014) to try and fix my problem. He said that would be “perfect” because he would have a “team of experts” work on my printer problem and the problem would be resolved. [redacted] called me at 9:00am on November 19th and spent an additional 3 hours working on my problem. It was during this time, that he de-installed [redacted] and [redacted] software on my computer. He told me to connect the printer to another computer to see if it would print - I told him I would not be able to do that until later that evening. He said, “that would fine”. He told me that he would call me on November 20th at 9:00am. Before we ended the above mentioned conversation, I told him to re-install the security software ([redacted] and [redacted]) – he refused!!! He said, “[redacted] is good enough for you!” When [redacted] and [redacted] were installed on my computer they were free but I checked at [redacted] and they are now $45.00/each!!! I feel like such a fool in believing that two technicians (one was a Senior Technician) and a “team of experts” would be able to fix my printer problem. [redacted] told me on November 20, 2014 that he would call me on November 21, 2014. He called me on November 21, 2014 at 9:00am but I did not pick my phone because I was terrified at what he might do to my computer!!!!Desired Settlement: I am DEMANDING a full refund in the amount of $398.00 due to the fact that my printer problem could not be fixed. My order number is [redacted].
