Review: I was looking for support for [redacted] via search engine because I could not log in one of my accounts. "[redacted] Support" came up found a number and made a call. It all looked legit on the web. They said they could help. Click4Support tech uploaded software to my computer for remote access and said I had viruses and my computer and was at great risk. I had NO problems prior to them accessing my laptop. With the exception I could not log into one of my [redacted] accounts. They did some work remotely from their location. They opened up my vault in [redacted] Anti virus 360 and logged into a totally different [redacted] account of mine "THEN" said I owed them the amount of $398.00 dollars for the repair service and 2 or 3 software programs they had to install. They billed my credit card and never gained access to the [redacted] account in concern. I have been calling them and calling them wanting my money back.I had to get forcefully loud with them and told them I was going to call the FBI. When I said that, they sent me to billing dept. More arguing with Billing dept. I told them I never asked or authorized any purchase of anti spy software. I called them scammers, and I was going to black list them. Finally they gave in said they would send a credit to my card. I am still in battle with them and never have seen one cent back. Keep telling me oh 10 more days, ah 5 more days. Our computers are messed up. ETC. They have even emailed telling me I would get a refund. The emails they send me keep disappearing. Since then every time I talk with them I ask for a email conformation. I make copies, send to other my email accounts. They have installed spyware on my computer and who knows what else??? They all have [redacted] accents with American names. Very nice until confronted.I have searched for the original "[redacted] support" Does not exist any longer. Looks as if they have many different tech support pages under different names.I sure would like the full amount of $398.00 back from the thieves!Desired Settlement: Want full refund, I am going to have to backup and download all of my documents. Run anti-virus software on separate files. Reformat my hard drive then install ALL of my information plus buy newapps.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] has been fully refunded. Our United States Technical Team is prepared to resolve any further issues expediently. They can be contacted directly at ###-###-####. My Sincere Apology for any inconvenience and I glad we could honor our 100% Money Back Guarantee.

Only headaches dealing with this firm which implied a relationship with my printer company, so much so that I thought it was a division of that company. I was told that my printer problem resulted for my wireless router being hacked and it was now being accessed from Nigeria. (No, I have never been to Nigeria, don't know any who has been nor do I know anyone in Nigeria.)
Long story, after about three hours on the phone and $1,498 later, my printer still did not function, but I was told what I paid provided permanent network security. They were going to send me a replacement printer - at no additional cost. After I determined this was not a good situation, I asked for a refund but was willing to pay the initial $398 fee. All I got was a refund of $798...better than a sharp stick in the eye, but way, way too much for what I received.
Stay away from this outfit.

I was somehow routed to this company when calling [redacted]. I was initially skeptical of the advice I was receiving and hung up the phone. They called me back several times to continue the charade, finally scaring/convincing me their service was necessary and getting $398 from me. They are frauds and hacked my computer. I reported them to my bank. I don't understand why these people aren't in jail yet.
BEWARE!

I had earlier submitted a harsh complaint and now would like to add that I did get a refund/credit to my credit card. However, it was very time consuming and many phone calls before that came about. So my issue has been resolved. But, the service and dealing with this business left so much to be desired. I would never opt to use this business again nor would I ever recommend it.

Click4Support is trustable online support provider, because Click4Support representative was very pleasant to talk and assisted me with my query. Recently I have taken the support for my [redacted] error problem. their expert fix my issues within 20-30 min.

Review: On March 12, 2015 my call to [redacted] Support Services was forwarded to Click4Support. My computer was crashing. Click4Support offered to remotely repair my computer for a fee. The person I spoke with was P.S. who proceeded with the so-called remote repair during which he said he could provide software protection and a 3-year service agreement. I asked how I refer to the service agreement, if I needed it. He said just use the Case number and order number I've provided you. I agreed and was charged $489.00 on my [redacted] on March 12. I was satisfied that the repairs worked at that time. However, I began to have serious blue screen computer problems again and could not reach Click4Support by phone at all. In October took my computer into a local center where they found I had 645 infections and no software protection and the operating system was corrupt. I feel that I did not receive the service agreed to for the payment I made and that the entire transaction was a scam.

Review: On 02-06-13 I requested a Refund and cancelled the services from Click4 support. Since that day I have called 3 times because they have not issues the refund and every time I contact them they tell me there was an issue with the server and they will issues the refund to our account and it will take about 5 to 7 business days. We are still waiting and not very happy.[redacted]###-###-####Desired Settlement: Refund of $299.00

Ms. [redacted] has been fully refunded through [redacted] as her [redacted] card is no longer eligible to be refunded. I apologize for any inconvenience or time delay.

On March 12, I called [redacted] for computer support. They forwarded my call to Click4Support. They told me there would be a fee for their service which I agreed to. Then remotely attempted to fix my computer while at the same time telling me I could sign up for a 3 year service agreement. I paid $489 for said agreement which supposedly included virus protection software. I was told this would be good until 3/11/18. When I did have problems again, their phones were out of order. And I had 645 infections on my computer and no security software nor service. Any lawyers out there? I am angry with [redacted] too for forwarding my business to the sham of a company!

I paid 967.00 for 2 years and I have a print out on the sales person. his name was Deepak Pr[redacted] phone number ###-###-#### on 7/12/2014 and they will not help me. they told me I only had 6 months warrentry. all they did was mess up my computer and had taken off my [redacted] program

I had initially called my computer company help line and was somehow rerouted to this company. They led me to believe that they were my computer company. This IS Fraud!!!!! I turned my computer over to their technicians believing that they were my computer company. It wasnt till we were at the end of the process did I realize that they were not my computer company!! I don't know what they loaded on my computer but we are taking it into the local dealer to have it checked out.... costing even more money! Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Review: On 8/14/14, received computer support through Click4Support. A contract was paid for 2 years of protection of my computer. I have had to contact them twice since that date. Today,11/15/15,thinking my computer was safe, I received a message to contact tech support with my local carrier. I called Click4Support with an audio message that they have

temporarily suspended operations, working with the [redacted]. Contacted [redacted] Tech Support......I had thousands!!!of issues and a trojan malware virus. I asked the tech when this started...8/17/14!!!!. So I have had NO security or virus protection for over 1 year. I certainly feel scammed.Desired Settlement: I paid $299 for a NO security and virus protection plan.

I would like the FULL amount refunded to me.

Review: My [redacted] computer would not allow uploads to be saved due to a lack of open space available. On 7/28/14 we googled in [redacted] technical support and a phone number appeared which we called. The person on the line identified them self as an affiliate of [redacted] inc. Located in [redacted]. He informed me that the reason our computer space was full was because hackers had taken control of our IP network which is our lifeline to the internet. He informed me that numerous hackers had access to all our personal information including credit card numbers, passwords and other information which would allow them to steal our financial accounts. He said if we paid $1,298.00 he would clear the network of hackers, viruses and any other unwanted source taking up space on our computer. I paid the fee and assumed that after several hours of the technician taking control of our computer, it would have plenty of free space to save new uploads. To the contrary, the computer operated in an identical fashion as it did before we called [redacted] technical support. I then contacted our internet server the morning of 7/29/14 and was informed that we had been scammed by Impostors claiming to be [redacted] inc affiliates. I then contacted [redacted] inc and was informed that in no way is [redacted] affiliated with Click4support. I have called Click4support main office in Essex Connecticut numerous times but no one will return my call. This company supposedly offers a 45 day money back guarantee. I hope the Revdex.com can help me get my money refunded and put these scam artists out of business.Desired Settlement: Full refund $1,298.00

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Review: On 1/15/15 our company purchased a 3 year agreement/support/protection plan for 2 work computers through [redacted]. Tried to contact Click 4 Support on 12/15/15 at phone number [redacted] and found it does not work. No other phone number on their web site is valid. Emailed and got no response. Paid $1,498 on 1/15/15 and seemed to get good service for the first 2 calls earlier in the year and now unable to reach anyone.Desired Settlement: Would like to see a refund for the two years the company is not providing support.

Review: I overheard my elderly father on the phone with Click4Support.net, a tech support company that gains remote access to your computer. He had used the service previously but canceled, then decided after a few weeks to return. (Right now I can only speak to last night's experience; I cannot say what happened when he was a customer before.) I heard him saying, "how much?" I overheard "$99?", then I heard him say he already paid some dollar amount. I walked out of room. When I returned, I heard him objecting and saying forget it. There was a screen image put on his computer by the company that said $1,498!! He had no idea that is what they were charging. When my father could not get them to stop the charge, I got on the phone and the tech said "too late" it was already processed. I insisted they run a credit and provide a confirmation number. The tech sent me to the "Verification Dept.," and the person there told me that my father gave his CC# and the line is recorded so they can prove it. I said OK but you still need to refund his money right now. You were not clear on the pricing or the terms. I asked for the supervisor or manager, but was told I could only be transferred to the tech guy again. It was difficult to understand due to accents, especially as they began to talk more quickly and less clearly, however their refusal to refund the money was loud and clear. We hung up, and I placed a report with my father's credit card company.Desired Settlement: Charge for $1,498 needs to be credited back to the credit card, and this company needs to begin presenting pricing and terms clearly, without pressuring customers. They need to provide credits or refunds to any customer who requests one, without us having to go through the Revdex.com or the CC company, etc. Refund my father's money but stop these unfair, scam-type practices. If this is a legit company, act like one. Don't wait to be forced by consumer advocate organizations to provide refunds.

Review: 12-15-20013 I searched for what I thought was [redacted] service/tech support number. My wireless was not working, desktop internet was working. I spoke with a female/[redacted] at C4S I asked her if they were in fact [redacted] support before I allowed her access. Her voice became irritated and she said yes "we support [redacted]" to my question and asked me what I was hesitant about, that I had called her.I allowed her internet remote access to my computer. She asked for sensitive info such as date of birth. While she had me on remote she told me how badly my system was hacked including any other devices that we connect with our internet. Many foreign addresses were in my records and that there were thousands of error messages and warnings. She showed me the security program was shut off. I expect that was because I had to shut my firewall off for her to get access. She asked me if I had read any articles about all the recent hacking increases. She circle problems and compromisses and generally scared me into the "next tier" of service which there would be a charge. The charge was $299 + $30 = 328.99 ? They said it would take 45 mns to an hour to install the lifetime anti-hacking program/tool. I even laughed saying the government isn't even that good. So, WHAT IS A LIFETIME ANTI-HACKING TOOL????? My instincts were telling me this was not legitimate. While I was on hold I decided to check with the [redacted] number again. I discovered I had indeed been misled and I feel I had taken advantage of by Click4support.Eventually,C4S called back a couple of hours later to say they would not charge my credit card the $328.99. In the mean time I felt so suspicious of having to wait a couple of hours to find out if I would be allowed a refund, I cancelled my credit card. I spent time with legitamate [redacted] support.I feel C4S were in my computer and could have compromised my security. I don't want anything of theirs in my computer and now feel compelled to get my desktop looked at by a tech specialist.Desired Settlement: Hopefully, no charge will show up on my credit card. I was assured it wouldn't. I will have to ammend if I do get charged. The billing department offered to give me tech support because of my concerns. I told them I did not want them "in" my computer again.I am worried about other people who don't have any computer knowledge being taken advantage of by Click4support. Their business practices seem preditory.I want the Revdex.com to be aware of this incidence and if need be I will answer any ?'s

Subject: FW: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Serving Connecticut Regarding Complaint #[redacted]

Ms. [redacted],

I am terribly sorry, I had responded but apparently left the screen open too long and never hit submit. I had provided a full VOID the day of the Customer request. Ms. [redacted] has never called our Customer Service line to request a refund. The policy listed on our receipts clearly indicate this is our standard model, to guarantee the satisfaction of customer.

We are a very legitimate company with offices in California, Philadelphia and Boston as well as India. We do support [redacted] as well as many technology products. We do sell products such as [redacted] and [redacted] which come with anti-hacking mechanisms and we do find that many of our customers have insecure settings in their firewalls and gaps in their open ports which leave them susceptible and vulnerable to attack.

No one has lifetime anything, and for this reason I am happy to offer a full void of the charge, which I did. We have a 98% satisfied customer base and we honor our policy for anyone who lets us know that our solution was not ripe for them on this particular day.

Please accept my most sincere apologies and accept that we have US offices, we have real people and we have real services that help most people.

Thank you
