Ordered several different types of ammo (9mm, cal, 22LR) and was told it would take 0-weeks to receive my order This was on April 17, Today is January 28, Over nine months laterToday they canceled my order without fulfilling it claiming they can't get the ammo from their manufacturersIf this were true they would be out of business by now I don't think they want to fulfill the orders due to price increases on their endI have received no communication from Code Tactical regarding this order unless it has been in response to my emails to themVery unprofessional companyI recommend that no one do business with them

I reviewed the emailed correspondence and the customer was advised: Some items were still out of stock and on order with the manufacturer and would be shipped the same day they arrived to us from the manufacturer. We suggested to the customer if the... backorder was too long for their needs they could cancel any time for a full refund. The customer's credit card has been refunded in full. Depending on their bank's policies Visa/Mastercard advises refunds can take up to 30 days, although most show up within 3 - 5 business days from the refund. If the refund has not shown up yet, it will shortly. Unfortunately after we issue the refund there is nothing we can do to speed up the process with the customer's credit card company or their bank. I'm sorry for their frustration and that they felt they were decided due to the backorder.

I'm sorry for your frustration I see two specific issues One you were under the impression that the items were in stock at the time of order As our website states, we do not stock everything listed on our website and some items need to be ordered from the manufacturer You'll notice on every page of our website you'll see a button that says "stock status indicator" that has more information about our inventory status You will be happy to know that later this year our website will be updated to show a live inventoryYou indicated in your complaint to cancel or ship the items You prevented us with two options Because the gear is out of stock on the manufacturer level we were unable to immediately ship As a result we canceled your order per your request

I'm showing the customer placed several orders ranging from $200 - $500 for ammunition. During the checkout process the customer was provided the option of being charged immediately or when the order shipped. The customer made the decision for each order to be charged immediately... rather then when the order when to shipping.After the orders were placed the customer canceled and refunds were processed on our end. We explained to the customer that the time it takes for the transaction to post to his account varies based on his bank and credit card. If any of the refunds have not yet posted I'd recommend checking directly with his bank to find out when they will release the funds.

As you stated in your complaint you are 100% correct. Yes you do need to contact your bank or credit card company. As we explained in the email sent to you we are forced to close our doors. We also provided instructions on how to get a full refund. Please contact your
bank/credit card company and dispute the charges to your credit card. It's an easy process and takes just minutes. Your account would receive the credit within - hours. Unfortunately since our funds have been frozen and our ability to do anything with credit cards has been turned off by our credit card processing company we are unable to issue the refund ourselves. Please contact us through the store if you need help with the process

Customer was advised prior to order this particular ammunition item is on a national backorder. Theis particular ammunition item remains the 3rd most backordered item in the nation since December of 2012.1) The customer was never charged for this order.2) We have no
record of any phone calls in the last days from anyone in the area code (where the customer resides). ALL phone calls are recorded and a log of each incoming call's number is documented.3) We have no record of any emails for the past days from *** (all of our emails go to one email address and all of our emails are assigned a ticket #. An emailed confirmation of this ticket number is also sent to the customer). We have canceled this order and consider this matter closed. Had the customer contacted us directly we would have been happy to provide an update on the national shortage, given them the manufacturer's information to contact directly OR cancel their order (again their card was never charged)

The customer was refunded in full at the time of cancelation. We provided an emailed confirmation as well as the transaction number of the refund which is ***. We also advised the customer that the refund time varies depending on his bank's policies and their relationship with
the credit card processor. Everything has been done on our end and now it is a matter of his bank releasing the funds to his account. There is several Google articles that explain the credit card refund process and they can be found below:***

On 5/28/I ordered a product for and was told that it was in stock and would ship in a few days, after not receiving my order by 6/16/ and after several emails I received an email from the company that they were going out of business and instructed me to contact my credit card company to get a refundPlease do not buy anything from this company !!

I'm showing my last email to *** advised him a refund check was processed and would arrive any day. Refund checks are processed in batches every few days and sent directly from our bank. If the check has not yet arrived, I would suggest waiting until the end of the week. We

*** ***i never canceled my orderi was unsatisfied with the lack of imformation regarding my order status and inability of the company to keep track of their inventory and update the websiteupon contacting the company, I received a response stating that they cancelled my order, assuming I no longer wanted the products. I think this company does not handle internet sales appropriately and should be suspended from doing business on the net until they can handle it

Customer was unaware that both we AND the manufacturer were out of stock of the special order holster. Upon cancelation her card was refunded the same day and she was advised it generally takes - business days for the refund to post. Her order was closed at that time
