We sincerely regret any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] may have experienced as a result of this matter. A records search indicates the number provided is not currently being dialed on any account. While we are hopeful the issue has been resolved, the inability to locate the account associated with the telephone number makes it more difficult to ensure it does not reoccur. If Ms. [redacted] received another call, we ask that she immediately call the number provided and inform us that the account at issue is not hers.

Review: I'm very displease with this company for the following reasons. I started getting phone calls from #[redacted]. It was kind of strange so I decided to contact them back. I spoke to [redacted] according to her. I asked what was the phone calls about, she responded that my account was past due. Immediately, I asked why? and she said that I never made my august payment. I told her it could not be possible since I made a payment on 8/5/13 online and same day if I'm not mistaken I requested a due date change. Since, I have to pay other bills and school same date. I check my bank account and in fact I made a $30.00 payment which was cashed on 8/6/13. I got another call by [redacted] who said I missed July payment, at this point I was very upset because [redacted] told me I never made a payment for august and now he said July. [redacted] then transferred me to customer service, the female from customer service I don't remember her name, told me that they should be answering my questions then she transferred me to [redacted]. [redacted] then told me I got late fee for august and September. When I asked her the reasons why? when I made my payment on time based on their online and in addition I received notification that my next payment was going to be due until 9/30 her responded was that I was responsible to make another payment on the 8/30 since they changed the due date. I asked why I have to make an extra payment when online show only 30.00 due on And then when I asked her why do I have to make an extra payment, when the online payment show 30.00 due on 8/5, and why I was been charged late fee if I made on time payment. She didn't give me any type of answer. I was upset and requested a supervisor. This supervisor said her name was [redacted], then she came up with another story, she said that my account has been past due since February. They have not idea of what they are saying, I have all my bank proof I made my payment. In addition, the supervisor said the due date change take cycle, meaning that it would take place on this month. Why AM I been charge late fee on this month when my payment is not due until 9/30? I still haven't gotten an answer and they keep harassing me.Desired Settlement: I want those late fees remove, first becuase I was not late on august, 2nd I was not late on sep since I received notification that my due date was changed to 9/30 as I requested, & third they do not have knowledge of what they are doing. If their system is incorrect, they need to fix it or before they give any answer, to check their record to make sure.I made all my payment and I have proof. I was late on June and I'm aware of that, but I was not late on augst or sept.

Response:
[redacted] changed the due date on her account on August 5, 2013, requesting the due date be changed from the 5th of the month to the 30th. Monroe and Main has simple guidelines for due date changes. A customer may not go more than 45 days without making a payment on their account, but will not be required to make two payments in less than 20 days. Since [redacted] changed from the 5th to the 30th, her next payment was due on August 30 - less than 45 days, but more than 20 days, from her previous due date. If [redacted] had changed the due date to the 15th of the month, for example, her next payment would have been due on September 15 because August 15 was less than 20 days from her previous due date.
Review: I made an order in october 2013. they sent to wrong address. they have credited my account for the dollar amount ordered in may of 2014, however they did not credit account for the finance charges accrued for the 6 months of there mistake. I have spoke to a few of the employees and nothing but arrogance in return saying I had to pay it . They approximate dollar amount is $45.00. I want that taken off the balance.Desired Settlement: refund of approximately $45.00.

Response:
Ms. [redacted] is mistaken regarding the amount in dispute. Ms. [redacted] placed an order in the amount of $278.35 on October 30, 2013, which was billed to her account on January 1, 2014. Ms. [redacted]s account was credited for the full amount of the order, including shipping and processing. If Ms. [redacted] will review her account statements, she will see that each of the credits applied to her account was accompanied by a credit for finance charges, also. Thus, the finance charges associated with the October 30, 2013 order have been removed from her account balance. Nonetheless, Swiss Colony will, as a courtesy to Ms. [redacted], remove all finance charges assessed on the account since January 1, 2014. This adjustment in the amount of $20.80 will appear on Ms. [redacted] next monthly billing statement.

Review: I ordered this camera from Montgomery Wards on 3/14/15. I was then sent a email saying I would have to make a payment first, which I did on 3/27/15.After sending several emails to see if they had the other color with no response I finally just asked for a refund. They are now saying it will be 30 days before a refund will be issued. I have never had this much trouble placing an order and the when not available not getting a refund within 5 business days.Desired Settlement: My refund should be in the total amount of $33.29

your order for the Bridge Camera.
We are truly sorry for any
inconvenience when the Bridge Camera was no longer available for shipment. We
make every effort to provide you with the best service and highest quality
possible; however, sometimes circumstances are beyond our control.
Unfortunately, due to the popularity of the camera, inventory was depleted. We
continue to strive to improve our systems to avoid such occurrences. Our records
indicate numerous order inquiries via internet, or viewing of the order; and
receipt of one email regarding the concern about a the

Refunds are most often returned in
the same manner in which they are received. This would have occurred if the
order had been paid in full with your card. We have issued a special request for
your refund of $33.29 to be returned to the same card used for the down payment.
This should take between three to five business days; we have also forwarded
your information to the departments involved for their review and

Review: To Whom It May Concern:
My name is [redacted] and I am currently filing a complaint against your company for a defective ring I received. I purchased some merchandise from your company about five years ago and one of the items, a gold monogram “D” ring, turned black. I notified the company that the ring turned black and I was told I would be sent a replacement. I never got the replacement ring so in turn, the original ring never was returned.
A few years later, I checked my credit report to find a $273 charge from Montgomery Wards. I called and I was told by a representative to send the old ring back and I would be refunded the original amount for the ring, the replacement ring that I never received and the late fees I was charged. I agreed to that and mailed the ring back and I have included a copy of the receipt from USPS as well as the original letter I enclosed with the package.
The package was signed for by someone at the returns facility and I thought the balance would be updated and I would pay off the balance. A few days ago, I checked my credit again to see there is still a charge on my account from Montgomery Wards. I was on the phone with your representatives for over an hour, and I have included a screenshot, and was told that I would only receive a 20% credit.
I am attempting to buy a home and I do not want this on my credit any longer. I did exactly what the representative told me to do and now I’m being told that although your company sent me a fake ring and although I returned it, your company sent me isn’t going to do anything about the charge. All I want is the balance to be reduced to whatever I purchased that doesn’t include the two rings and to have this cleared from my credit reports with Experian, Equifax and Transunion. If there is a way we can get this matter resolved in a timely manner, then that would make me happy. When I originally called about the charge, I was told the balance minus the two rings would be around $60.
I also have the call log of me being on the phone with Montgomery Wards for over an hour trying to resolve this, I have the USPS receipt that I sent it back also.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the balance adjusted to what I was told it would be and to have this collection removed from my credit account.

Review: In October 2015, I promised to pay off the account in installments of $20.00.
I've made payments:
2/01/16 $20.00
2/29/16 $29.00
11/30/15 $25.00
10/21/15 $15.00
On October 31, 2015, my bill was $55.21. I kept my promise to pay the account in installment. I called Swiss Colony customer service in January and that time my bill was around $29.00. I agreed to pay off the account in full before March 2016.
As you can see I have paid over $84.00 for [redacted] 21 balance.
I received a bill in the mail on March 11, 2016, and saw a balance of $21.25.
I kept my promise and I thought I paid off the account.
The $21.25 is late fees for a $20 balance.
That 100% interest.
The customer service agent promised no late fees. I got hit with over $30.00 for nothing.Desired Settlement: I want all the late fees dropped. I paid off the account as agreed with the customer service agent.
I would like the money refunded in the amount of $29.21 for late fees.
I want the account closed with no further bills from this company.
Business
Response:
Mr. [redacted] is mistaken on a number of counts:1. He did not enter into an agreement to pay his account in $20 installments in October of 2015. 2. He did not, as evidenced by the list included in his complaint, make regular monthly payments on his account3. His account balance was not "around $29" in January of 2016. As of the 1/4/16 closing his account balance was $48.25. A late payment fee assessed on 1/14 increased the balance to $58.25. A payment received on 1/29/16 reduced the balance to $38.25. Subsequent finance charges and another late fee created a balance of $49.25 at the time Mr. [redacted] made his $29 payment. Nonetheless, as a courtesy to Mr. [redacted], Swiss Colony has credited his account to a zero balance.

Review: Recently I started getting bills from swiss colony demanding payment for something I didnt buy from them. Ive responded asking for proof of me buying and not paying for anything from them. They refuse to provide this itemized information and have instead resorted to making threats about reporting a incorrect debt for now $35.95 (after their fees on the debt they wont prove) the real amount was originally something like $20. I have purchased from swiss colony years ago. I havent ordered anything from them in years. I haven applied for any type of credit with them. I bought two items years ago and paid in cash. There was no balance due and Ive never financed anything with them.Desired Settlement: Stop harassing me and fix this obvious billing error

Review: A bill of collection was sent to my attention at my sister's address. My sister contacted me to inquire about why I received a bill and sent me the bill. After looking it over and seeing that it is not a company I have every heard of nor solicited credit from, I contacted them. They looked over the account and saw that my social security number is associated with the account and they allowed someone to use this information in conjunction with my name (but not my correct address) to purchase a large screen television. I informed them I have never heard of their company and did not purchase anything from them and they transferred me to their "Loss Prevention" department. After remaining on hold for an hour not having the opportunity to speak with anyone, I decided to hang up and call back. They're customer service department closed. They were not apologetic nor prudent in making sure this matter is resolved.Desired Settlement: Seventh Avenue needs to contact me via phone or email to make efforts to resolve this matter and delete this account from their system. It is a fraudulent account created and the bill will never be paid, causing detriment to my credit.
Business
Response:
Seventh Avenue received an internet order and request for extension of credit on August 29, 2014 in the name of Ms. [redacted], with a ship to address in Elmwood Park, IL (which Ms. [redacted] indicates is her sister's address). Seventh Avenue identified the order as potentially fraudulent and, as a result, shipment of the order was suspended pending verification. Ms. [redacted]'s sister did not receive a bill or notice of collection from Seventh Avenue. She received a notice indicating an order to be shipped to her address had been identified as possibly fraudulent and that payment in full would be required before the order could be shipped. No information regarding this matter has been furnished to a consumer reporting agency.

Review: On Nov 8, 2014 I ordered online. Order #[redacted]. I sent them a check for $140.00 after receiving a confirmation and return envelope for payment. On Nov 28th I called and asked the status of the order. They said the order was delayed for at least 30 days from the date they cashed my check (Nov 21st, cleared my bank Nov. 22rd--they bank at BMO Harris). So I asked the person on Nov 28th what to do to make this go faster. They said cancel the order and place a new order with the person over the phone (using a credit card). So they cancelled the first order and told me I would be the $140 check back either after the Dec 1st or Dec 15th date that they send out refund checks. I called they back on December 21st and they said that the check would not be issued before the END of January 2015, per a supervision (they put me on hold to discuss witht that supervior). This is probably another lie. I want my $140.00 send to me by wire or check on Monday Dec. 2nd I told them, they have had the money cleared since Nov. 22nd. I asked to speak to that supervisor, I was put on hold and then disconnected. (I guess that is one way to get rid of customer complaints on the phone).Desired Settlement: I would prefer a wire of my money back to my account for the $140, since I'm not sure if their check would be good, but would accept a check if paid in the year 2014.

Review: I applied for credit during the Christmas holidays. I placed an order paid for the item the attempted to make another purchase on the credit card that was issues to me acct # [redacted] I am then told that I would need to pay for half of the order in advance mind you one of the items wouldnt ship until June 2015. When I contact the company to see what my actual credit amount is I am told $0.00 why would a company give the misrepresentation that they are extending credit. The initial item ordered was paid in full with this company and several of its sister companies have extended the same offer of credit only to tell me it would require a minimum deposit well I feel that I fulfilled that obligation with Ashro based on my first order that was paid. My only desire was to use this to reestablish my credit I wasn't completely satisfied with the quality of the product but because I saw this as a way to help myself.
I feel that this company was not truthful in there representation of credit offeredDesired Settlement: Line of credit as promised by this company and its sister companies

Response:
Ms. [redacted] has not been granted a line of credit by
any Colony Brands company, The Swiss Colony released a small order in December
of 2014, but did not establish a line of credit for Ms. [redacted]. Subsequent

Finally, Ms. [redacted] should be aware that each Colony
Brands’ company issues its own credit accounts under its own criteria.

Review: my health is poor and these people continue to call and harass me. On 9/22/2015 I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com against this company for constant collection calls. they are harassing me. I have received 3 additional calls since then. I get paid once a month. I went through all this in my complaint on 9/22/2015. I asked that the company please quit calling and harassing me. it is noted in the dialogue box how would like this matter resolved. it is real simple. stop harassing me. you are real close to making me mad. if you make me mad, you may never get your money. my medical conditions require a lot of bed rest. your constant harassing collection calls disturb my important rest. I meet with an attorney on Saturday. I plan to see whether or not you have violated the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act. I called it the Fair Credit Law or something close to that in my original complaint. If you have violated the law by your constant harassing collection calls, I will seek damages. No company should get away with harassing collection calls. I cannot get your money to you any sooner than my next pay check unless you accept an alternative form of unconventional currency. this is the only time I have ever been late or missed a payment. They are pursuing me aggressively as if I am leaving the country with the company's assets. Had the company not harassed me so much with all these unnecessary phone calls I had planned to make a payment on 9/2/2015. Now, I am going to wait to see what my attorney advises me. This is so wrong to constantly call me trying to collect a debt. I have a good mind to cut up the company's credit card and never do business with them again. This is such bad and unacceptable behavior. if you were a child, I would turn you over my knee and spank you. I do not know what this company hopes to gain by harassing customers. I think it is an excellent way to lose customers. I know I will post this situation to my facebook account to warn other peopleDesired Settlement: I will leave it up to my attorney to see how we are going to proceed. I know this company has upset and harassed me greatly. Having a black mark against the company with the Revdex.com will have to suffice for now. I can't believe they have not responded to my original complaint filed on 9/22/2015. Today is October 1,2015. They obviously do not care. They obviously think they can do whatever they want to people or do they have so many complaints filed against them they cannot keep up?

If Mr. [redacted] wishes to avoid the assessment of additional late payment fees he will need to pay the minimum amount due listed on his most recent account statement on or before the due date. The responsibility for determining whether or not account information should be included in a consumer report lies with the consumer reporting agency, not with the furnisher. Further, while Ms. Smiley's account was opened in February of 2009, it did not become delinquent until December of 2009 and was charged off as a loss in May of 2010. Under the provisions of the FCRA (see below) the consumer reporting agencies are unlikely to remove the account information until some time in 2010.(a)Information

On April 20, 2013 Seventh Avenue received an order and request for credit in the name of [redacted]. When Seventh Avenue reviewed the consumer’s credit report as part of its evaluation of the request for credit, it discovered a consumer fraud alert on the report. The fraud alert included a telephone number, provided by the consumer, to allow verification of the identity of the consumer before a credit account was opened. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Seventh Avenue used the number provided and verified the identity of the consumer on April 22, 2013. The order was then processed, approved and an account was opened in the name of [redacted].
Review: I have fought this issue several times. I made a settlement with the 3rd party collections agency and I was told that it would be completely removed from my credit. I filed a complaint and finally they at least wrote off the balance, however the item still appears on my credit.

which Ms. [redacted]'s account was referred. Under the
circumstances, Seventh Avenue has elected to change the
status of Ms. [redacted]'s account to "settled for less than full
amount." The outstanding balance on the account will be
written off so that it will no longer appear on her consumer
credit report. Ms. [redacted] should be aware that it may take up
to 30 days for this change to appear on a consumer credit
report.Desired Settlement: I want the Colony Brands to honor the agreement that their 3rd party company made on their behalf. I honored my end and made the payment as agreed and this item was never removed from my credit as promised.

Response:
Seventh Avenue does not offer or accept deletion of account information as a condition of settling a delinquent account, nor does it allow agencies collecting on its behalf to settle accounts under those terms. Seventh Avenue's previous response indicated the account information had been updated to reflect the correct status - a charged off account that was settled for less than the full balance. This information accurately reflects the payment history and current status of Ms. [redacted]'s account. Since the information is accurate and true, there is no basis for requesting its deletion.
Review: I ordered several items from The Swiss Colony on November 25, 2014, which totaled $85.72. On December 6, they sent and email saying they could not deliver an item I got for my 81 year old mom until the day AFTER Christmas. They give you 2 options...accept that it will be late or cancel. They give you no other information that that. If you call the number they give you [redacted] it is all automated and they always say they are experiencing a large volume of calls and instead of letting you wait to talk to a LIVE person, they hang up on you. On this on for my mom, I canceled it and reordered. Now, on December 9, 2014, they sent me an email saying they were going to have to delay my niece's family's gift until December 29th! What? I cannot get hold of anyone to actually talk to see what the problem is. Swiss Colony knows these orders are going to come in and even guarantee Christmas delivery on their website if ordered by a certain date. They also say you can get a free box of candy with a $25.00 purchase. I had and $85.72 purchase and when I went to put n the code, it wouldn't accept it. Misleading on so many levels.Desired Settlement: I want the Bavarian Cream Torte that I ordered for my niece and her family to be delivered as I requested on December 17th and not a day later. If they can't do that then, I want a full refund and apology for being such a misleading company.

Review: I have been a loyal customer of ASHRO (the name of my account) since 2013 having an account that begins with 801 since that time. I've placed several orders with this company and have paid my account ontime and with monthly payments as instructed by my billing statement. I recieved a catalog in January 2015 and called to place an additional order which resulted in the company sending me a entire new account number beginning with 976. On account begining with 801 had a balance of $173.63 and with me knowing that I placed an additional order I sent in a payment in the amount of $200.00. I recieved a billing statement with an account begining with 976 at which time I called to inquire about this on 1/26/2015 and spoke with [redacted] (RZD sales id #) whom at that time assured me the accounts would be linked and the additional monies would be applied to the new order bal of $352.07 and I would not incure any late fees nor would I be delinquent. I recieved a new bill with this account beging with 976 and with a billing statement date of 2/17/2015 having a delinquent amount that was past due and the current amount due. I immediately called again and spoke with a Supervisor Paurean (CK5 id#) located in Barbatos which he stated that the accoounts has yet to be linked. I informed him that now I am in a delinquent state that is now affecting my credit and my credit history of 30 days past due on my ASHRO account. This company has unfair billing tactics with little to no resolvement. With my multiple attempts to resolve thru emails to VP [redacted] to no avail have I got an response. This company should address my concerns and held accountable for there actions and remove the delinquent remarks off my credit hisory.Desired Settlement: TO REMOVE THE DELINQUENT CREDIT REMARK ON MY CREDIT

Response:
Ashro offers its apologies to Ms. [redacted] for any inconvenience she may have experienced as a result of this
matter. Ms. [redacted] accounts were linked on January 28, 2015. Her payment on
the 801 account was posted on January 26, 2015, two days before the link was
completed. Based on system existing rules, Ashro’s billing program defaulted to
the only account that had a balance after the link was completed - the 976
account. As a result, Ms. [redacted] was billed on that account and her future
purchases will be assigned to that account. No information regarding either
account has been furnished to a consumer reporting agency.

Review: I purchased A cooling table from Ginny's Catalog. The item was defective the power supply to the fan did not work. They shipped out a second cooling stand. this was also defective. The box on the first defect was thrown out. I used the box from the second to send back the first. I have a defective cooling stand sitting in my office that I cannot use. They want to charge me $7.95 for each unit to return them as they were defective I feel that they should pay to return this item. They also told me that I have to purchase packaging to send the second one back. I have send e-mails to customer service and they keep telling me that I don't reply to their e-mails which is untrue. I have all the e-mails involved in this case. This company is not consumer friendly. If I have to pay to ship this item back I will just throw it in the trash and never purchase from Ginny's againDesired Settlement: I would like to have Ginny's credit my account for the defective units and provide packaging to return the second defect. It is not my fault that the items were defective.

We received the correspondence from
the Revdex.com regarding your order #[redacted] placed 2/16/2015 for
a Laptop Table along with additional products. We are sorry the table and the
replacement issued on 3/7/15 did not meet your expectations and apologize for
any disappointment or inconvenience.
We regret any confusion regarding
the return of defective products. Our policy is to offer to email, or mail via
USPS, prepaid return labels (at no charge to the customer). Our records
indicate one label was sent for the first unit. When the additional email was
received regarding the replacement table having the same concern was received,
unfortunately, we had no response asking if a replacement or credit was
desired. There were three internet order inquiries shortly after, however, this
does not indicate a response; only that the order had been reviewed. We are
sorry if we made a mistake, as we would have gladly sent prepaid labels for
return. The Smart Label return option enclosed with the replacement order is a
convenience label offered for another purpose as listed on the label, and the
customer is billed.
It is a common practice in the
catalog industry that the consumer is responsible for properly packing the
product for return. There are many local businesses or facilities willing to
provide a used box for a customer at no charge. We are sorry you were unable to
locate a box and as a courtesy, have issued credit of $66.55 for the unit. This
will be reflected on your next monthly statement. You may dispose of the Table or donate to a local charity of choice. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost
importance to us. We appreciate the opportunity to explain. Sincerely,
Ginny’s
Review: Today I contacted a company that I thought I had paid out last week. But to my surprise I received a bill dated due 12-25-2014. I spoke to [redacted] both transferred me. The supervisor was put on the line then she transferred me also. Tha supervisor advised me that when I returned those items last year on with my money., that they billed me for postage that it cost for them to send it to me. I was shocked. Last year I called they told me that the account was paid in full when. I returned the items, but also I had another account with them that wasn't paid. I have never heard of ordering an item get you a different account every time. Now I have 109.47 in late fees and postage fees.Desired Settlement: I have paid the accounts. I do not owe them anymore money. The company is so unprofessional. Customer service should be zero.

One of the accounts is paid in full, but the other remains due and payable. It should be noted that billing statements for each account were sent to each billing address.

The company is still billing me. I have spoken to someone in customer service and told them I returned the product.
Now they are sending me collection letters telling me that I owe them for something that has been returned.Desired Settlement: To have this bill disolved. I don't owe these people any money.
