Review: I placed an order online for 4 items on 12-6-14. Was told I need to put a deposit down. So I paid $30.69 which was taken out of my bank account on 12-10-14. The items were no longer available and Swiss Colony has not credited my account. I have called 3 times and was told there would be a credit bank to my account, which has not happen. Third call was on hold for 20 minutes and still no answer.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded immediately.

Review: I have an account with Ashro, Seventh Avenue, Montgomery Ward Midnight Velvet and Monroe and Main. Last year I stop paying these companies with my Bank Card because they took out more money from my accounts. Now I pay with Western Union Money Orders. All the other companies get their money orders and post them to my accounts, but Ashro get my money orders payments cash them and than do not post them to my account. Later in the month they start calling me harassing me telling me that they have not got their payments. Ashro say from 9/2014 until 01/2015 they have not received a payment from me. I buy my money orders from Kroger Grocery Store and they keep records of the date they sell the money orders. The money order for 12-3-2014 I paid for and sent to Ashro was cash on 12-11-2014, but Ashro say they do not have a record of the money order. My first and only account that I open up have a balance of over $700.00 for it, but when I order two catfans on 12-21-2014 a new account was open up and Ashro will not fix it. When I am on the phone with them they say they have fix the problem, but I keep getting nasty calls saying "pay up your account and we will stop bother you. I have never miss a payment to Ashro. Last year in 8/2014 I got scam so when I found out that Ashro did not get their payments for 8/2014 and now it was the middle of 9/2014 I borrow the money and sent them two payment total $70.00 each payment is $35.00/mo.Desired Settlement: Tell Ashro to stop stealing customers money. I want them to go back to the first time I order and item from them and put the due date that they say is 30 days when the item is ship out. Such my records for my money orders payments and see who cash them. Because Kroger and Western Union say these money orders have been cash and I have to send them $30.00 for a copy each money order that show who cash the money orders.

Response:
A second Ashro account was inadvertently opened in Ms. [redacted] name in December of 2014. Ashro regrets this error, however, all activity from the duplicate account was transferred to Ms. [redacted] original account on January 7, 2015. Ms. [redacted] continues to allege that she made a payment on her Ashro account in December that is not reflected on her account. Ashro has no record of receiving a payment in December (although a payment on the duplicate account was received on January 7, 2015 and subsequently transferred to her existing account) and has asked Ms. [redacted] to provide documentation indicating the payment was received and processed by Ashro. Ms. [redacted] has not provided such documentation as of the date of this response. Nonetheless, in the interest of resolving this complaint, Ashro has credited Ms. [redacted]'s account in the amount of $35. This credit should appear on her next monthly billing statement.
Review: this company charged me in the amount of $33.00 for something back in December. I have no knowledge of this company and have never done business with them. The only reason I found out about this charge is because I ran my credit report. I spoke with a billing account specialist who told me back on june 23 2015 that the amounts were $33 and if it were paid it would be removed. Since the amount was so low I figured it would be worth it just to pay the amount so it is not reflecting on my reports. the account rep gave me a collection number and I contacted, made payment same day. This item just reported on my credit report again.Desired Settlement: Removal of the account of my credit reports.

Response:
Ms. [redacted] first communication with Seventh Avenue occurred on July 16, 2015, after she paid the balance on her account. In light of the small balance, Seventh Avenue agreed to delete the account information from Ms. [redacted] credit file. This change may take 30 days or more to appear on a consumer credit report.
Review: I made a gift purchase in sept, of 2013 the person who sent the merchandise to returned it the numbers on the box where: [redacted], I was paying on this purchase and when I found out it was returned I contacted the company and they were to refund the money I had already paid, but instead charged-off my account and put it in collections.Desired Settlement: Refund money paid and take out of collections and remove from credit report
Business
Response:
Mr. [redacted] order history indicates he placed an order with Midnight Velvet in December of 2013 that was shipped to a gift recipient. Midnight Velvet has no record of receiving a return on the order, nor does Midnight Velvet have a record of speaking with Mr. [redacted] about an anticipated return or refund. If Mr. [redacted] has additional information or documentation of the return he should contact customer service at [redacted].
Review: M.y friend ordered a video cabinet from Seveneth Avenue under my name. She has made all the payments through the mail and the company says they aren't receiving the payments on the account. They are however cashing the checks and it's coming out of her account. The account number is [redacted]. Her name is [redacted] and her number [redacted]. she can fill you in on everything.Desired Settlement: get the money put on the right account and pay off
Business
Response:
Seventh Avenue will not, and cannot, discuss Ms. [redacted] account with a third party. More importantly, if Ms. [redacted] allowed someone to use her account to make a purchase she remains responsible for payment of the account. Seventh Avenue's records reflect three payments received since the account was opened in September of 2014. If Ms. [redacted] has documentation of additional payments (front and back of the payment, showing the date the payment was deposited), Seventh Avenue will make any and all necessary adjustments to the account balance. Seventh Avenue has placed the account on hold for 30 days pending receipt of documentation from Ms. [redacted].
Review: To start with, I fell and fractured an ankle Feb 3 2014. With this in mind, I was trying to maintain a normal life with paying bills in a timely manner, but I inadvertently forgot to pay the original amount of $25.90 and they (Swiss colony) sent out another bill for $1.00 interest payment. Unbeknown to me that they have a disclaimer at the top of the form in VERY small font size stating a late fee of $15.00 will be charged for delinquent accounts. I didn't see the disclaimer and sent in my $25.90 with the $1.00 interest fee totaling $26.90. Then I receive a letter from them wanting $15.00 immediately. I called them on this fee and they told me about the late fee amount and that I should pay $11.00. Hesitantly and angrily I paid the $11.00 to get them off my back and not to report me to the credit bureau. But after sending off the check, I also attached a letter stating that their business is unfair and I want a refund for the $11.00.
Before all of this happened I reminded them that my dealings with them in late November regarding this order was very annoying. They couldn't find the order and when they did, they came up with the previous year's order. I kept telling them that that was not my current order. The confusion was resolved and to make amends they sent me both orders. So, this company is not very good in their business orders and they put late fee warnings in very small font size that you can bearly see it. Is this a fair business?Desired Settlement: I wish to receive a refund in the amount of $11.00 and an apology from Swiss Colony and to remove my name from their mailing list. I do not care for their business practice.

Review: Dear Revdex.com I purchased a set of living room tables (3) at $179 on a catalog the company like a few others that I have credit kept sending brochures so I tried to order online and I couldn't I called them placed my order they sent me an invoice that I had to pay $28 in advance if I wanted the tables I called them and was going to pay the $28 however when I question the over $120 in price from the original amount the agent could not say why all they said it must be for shipping
I am not into the bait & switch tactics so I told her to cancel my order I must say there was a few other things I planned on ordering in the future however if the prices will not be ordered I will not and another thing I was very upset she looked into my credit report and closed my account that made my credit score go downDesired Settlement: I want the account active and price to be honored .

They told me they was going to take care of it and they was going to send me fraud papers and I haven't recieved the papers yet. Everytime I call I have to keep giving them the same info which they are not noting this account as fraud. So as of today I feel like they are not doing anything to handle this matter. They let people order under other people name without varifing that this is the correct person ordering before they ship items outDesired Settlement: I would l Iike for them to take the bill off my name and do a correction to my credit report

Review: I placed an order in February and when I tried to pay the down payment they asked for it would not go through. They sent me a letter letting me know this and at that time I sent them a money order for the down payment. On March 23 at 2:56a.m. I received an e-mail telling me that part of my order was out of stock. I did not read the e-mail at 3 in the morning ,I was asleep. When I woke up at 8 a.m. I read the e-mail and then called them at 8:15. On this call I asked it the order was back logged ,to be delivered at a later time, they said no it was out of stock and that is when I told them to just cancel the order and then they told me it had already been shipped and the would try to stop it but there was no guarantee . I said okay if it gets to me , I will return it tand that is whenthey told me they do not accept returned food purchases, that I would have to take it to a food bank and get a receipt andthen send them rthe receipt in order to get my money back.Desired Settlement: I want the order canceled and my down payment returned without having to go to a food bank.

Response:
We received the correspondence from the Revdex.com in regards to your order #[redacted] placed 2/16/2016 via internet. We are sorry that some of your items were no longer available for shipment.
Our records indicate upon the receipt and processing of the down payment the Lemon Bundt Cake and Batter Bowl were no longer available for shipment. Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve inventory pending receipt of a down payment. Per your request on 3/23/2016, efforts to cancel the shipment were put into place and successfully completed. The order has been credited in full and the down payment of $18.89 will be refunded within the next seven to twenty one days.
We regret you felt it was an inappropriate request to donate unwanted products received to a notable charity. This has been a company policy for an extended period of time. Regulation and food safety guidelines are of the utmost importance to us. By donating products to a charitable organization and sending us notice via letterhead stationery from the organization, this assists you, by receiving credit, and supports recipients that are in need. I called Midnight Velvet on 3/14/14 inquiring about my refund, and was told that the card I used for the purchase would be refunded for $36.95 and that the turn around time would be 3-5 business days. Needless to say after that window of time passed I called, spoke w/at least two different representatives and two different supervisors in their credit department, all of whom confirmed that my refund had been processed on their end and I should contact my bank, in an effort to provide my bank with as much information as I could, I contacted Midnight Velvet one more time, asking if I could get something in writing to send to my bank. I was told that they do not provide anything in writing, which I find to be unusual and a bad business practice. I don't feel that no one truly made an effort to assist me, which is not good customer service.Desired Settlement: Be willing to bend a little in an effort to help your customer so that they will be willing to shop with their company again.

Review: Hello Ginny's. I paid this account back in the end of January or beginning of February. You sent me an offer to settle the debt at 60% off the last debt.
Account number- [redacted] Balance $133.34
I sent a pay for total deletion along with this letter that you sent me. I sent you a money order in the sum of $80 to this address.
Allied Data Corporation [redacted] I've disputed this several times with the CRA's to validate and you through a CRC. However I keep getting letters back over and over and over stating the same thing. This information has basically already been validated. I am so confused. Did this agency take my money that was supposed to go to you or did was it supposed to go to Ginny's? Is this a fraudulent company that sent me this letter on behalf of you? and I'm out of $80 knowing that it was a money order?
The CRA's are reporting this as a charge-off account and I thought your deal was good enough to get this fixed with my pay for deletion letter. My other efforts to validate were coming back as erroneous because "I paid the bill". I think. I have no idea what happened here with this account. Can you validate my payment to you? I sent you a money order, but the only proof I have is the old letter that came to me. I am attaching a photocopy of it for you to look at. I apologize for it's condition, but this debt to me is a very minor one and I thought this would have been fully taken care of and deleted from all my credit reports.
Please help and do some research to track down my payment to you.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to track down my money I sent you firstly. Secondly delete your trade lines because I agreed, I paid and I sent you a letter of pay for deletion along with this. If I had the original carbon paper for the money order I would gladly send it, but this is an old debt and impossible for me to find. I've looked all over. I am not sending you another $80 dollars to fix this because my trust issues are gone. You should have cleared this up a long time ago. If this tradeline is not deleted and the payment is not found I will have to take further steps. I would also like an apology from Ginny's. This is nothing but a headache. I think I deserve that and something you can do to fix this.
(Update- I'm trying to attach this letter for 60% percent off, but it won't allow me to send the file)

Response:
Ginny's did not receive the payment Mr. [redacted] claims to have made. In response to Ginny's inquiry, Allied Data has indicated they have no record of receiving a payment from Mr. [redacted]. If Mr. [redacted] has documentation indicating the payment was received and deposited by Allied he should forward that documentation to Allied. Ginny's cannot change the status Mr. [redacted]'s account until it has received payment of the balance or settlement amount.
Lastly, it should be noted that payment or settlement of the account will not result in deletion of the account information from Mr. [redacted]'s credit file. Neither Ginny's nor the agencies that collect on its behalf request or accept deletion of account information in exchange for payment of a delinquent account. Upon receipt of payment, Ginny's will change the status of the account to "Paid in full" or "Settled for less than full amount" and the balance will be reduced to zero, but the charge off of the account will remain a part of Mr. [redacted]'s credit file.

Review: I am alleging that Ginnys.com fraudulently obtained my personal information and sent me a catalog to lure me into purchasing products from them on credit. The front of the catalog stated Enjoy Low Monthly Payments with CHOOSE & CHARGE. CONGRATULATIONS [MY NAME]. BUY NOW & PAY LATER. They provided me with an EZ#, which was supposed to enable me to make a purchase and make monthly payments. I decided to place an order. Once I placed an order, I found out that this enabled them to make a hard inquiry on my credit report, which I did not authorize. They did not process my order and told me that I would have to make a 100% down payment on the item. I spoke with the credit specialist who failed to clearly explain how their credit process worked. I told her that I DID NOT want a hard inquiry on my credit file and at no point did I provide them with my social security number. I asked her how they got my social security number to run my credit and the credit specialist told me that they did not have to have my social security number to run my credit. She refused to tell me how they obtained my personal information. I asked her to remove the hard inquiry from my credit file and she refused. I did not authorize them to run my credit!Desired Settlement: I would like this company to remove the hard inquiry from my credit report as soon as possible.
Business
Response:
Ms. [redacted] should be
aware that a consumer’s name and address do not constitute personal
information. Retailers and creditors, like Ginny’s, may obtain a consumer’s
name and address from a wide variety of sources.
Secondarily, Ginny’s
did not pre-screen Ms. [redacted] for the purposes of extending an offer of credit.
Ms. [redacted] was sent an invitation to apply for a credit account. The material in
the catalog clearly states “All credit orders subject to final credit approval.”
Finally, with regard
to the inquiry on Ms. [redacted]’s credit report, such an inquiry occurs as the
result of a consumer initiated credit transaction. Ms. [redacted] placed an order
through Ginny’s web site on January 27, 2015. To complete the order Ms. [redacted] would
have been required to navigate the two screens pictured below. The first page allows the consumer to choose a
method of payment, included opening a new Ginny’s Choose ‘n Charge account.
Please note that the option to pay by credit card also appears on this page.
The second screen
appears after the consumer has elected to open a Choose ‘n Charge account. In
order to complete the application process, the consumer must accept the terms
and provisions of the account, including providing consent for Ginny’s to
obtain a copy of the consumer’s credit report.
Since the transaction
was clearly consumer initiated, and consent was given to obtain a consumer
credit report, there is no basis for deleting the inquiry from Ms. [redacted]’s
consumer credit report.
Review: I order some stuff from swiss conoly and seventhavenue they are asking me for a down payment why they are asking me for a down payment which they said on the phone I can use my choose and charge accountDesired Settlement: I want my order shipped to me before I make any kind of payment to them and when will my items be shipped on and how
Business
Response:
Mr. [redacted] does not have a credit account with Seventh Avenue. Mr. [redacted] was mailed a Seventh Avenue catalog that included an invitation to apply for a credit account. Upon receipt of his order and request for an extension of credit, Seventh Avenue evaluated Mr. [redacted]'s creditworthiness and determined that it could not grant his request for credit in its entirety. Instead, Seventh Avenue offered to open a credit account for Mr. [redacted] if he paid a portion of his order in advance. Upon receipt of the requested payment Seventh Avenue would ship the merchandise Mr. [redacted] ordered and open an account in his name, posting the unpaid balance of the order to his new credit account. Mr. [redacted] would then have the opportunity to earn increases in his credit limit by making regular, timely payments on his account.

Business
Response:
Mr. [redacted]'s rebuttal does not appear to address the points raised in Seventh Avenue's previous response. To reiterate: Mr. [redacted] does not have a credit account with Seventh Avenue, nor was he pre-screened for a credit offer. Mr. [redacted]'s request for credit was not granted due to a lack of information from the consumer reporting agencies regarding his creditworthiness.

Review: I was extended credit by Seventh Avenue and Montgomery Ward (a sister company)of $250.00 each after filing and being discharged from bankruptcy. In trying to reestablished my credit I accepted the credit offers from both. I made purchases and have paid my bill on time, this normally results in credit repair and credit limits being raised. I have available credit with both companies which I am no being told that because of a account with another sister company that was discharged in bankruptcy I need a down payment to use my available credit. I placed an order for a wreath, I called seventh avenue and was told yes I had the credit but because of the bankruptcy I would need to call my order in by phone. I did so, after placing the order I checked their site and it said the order was no longer available. I then check their site without login in under my name and the item was available. I have never experienced anything like this. How can the offer credit and resend it? I couldn't even log into Seventh Avenue site to pay my bill. I would like to know if this is legal?Desired Settlement: Explanation..............

We make every effort to provide the best service and highest quality possible, however, sometimes circumstances are beyond our control. It is difficult to determine how popular an item will be when creating our catalog and unfortunately the wreaths popularity and supplier inventory were unable to meet demand. A notice was sent in this regard on 10/20/2015. We also noted an additional [redacted] which is available and is very similar , yet listed with a different identifying code and price. It is a darker, more Rust colored Pumpkin with Red & Green Leaves. Records indicate an order was started and deleted prior to completion 10/20/2015.
