This company charges grossly-inflated prices, and are not upfront about their feesBefore even starting with them, they want to know your income - I would assume that helps them figure out how much they can chargeIt was a $fee upfront for "investigation", which consists of filing one form with the IRS requesting your recordsOnce they obtained my records they quoted me an additional $4,to do the returnsThat's $5,total, for eight tax returnsThe little I saw of their work was sloppy - the invoice had a date from two months earlier, and didn't even reflect the agrepriceAfter realizing that they exhibited the tactics of a boiler room operation, I contacted other accountants through the internet, and received quotes ranging from $to $per returnThat's a far cry from Community's $per returnIt only took a 10-minute conversation for the accountant I hired to determine the complexity of my returns - years 1099, years of W2, Schedule D for all years
I sent Community an email stating I did not want any more of their servicesLike any boiler room operation, I shortly received a call, with a hard sellAfter saying three times that he was wasting my time, I had to tell him I was trying not to be rude but the conversation had to end or I was going to hang upI wasted $with themSave your money, use the internet to find local accountants who will most likely focus on the job you have, rather than your incomeThink about it - $total, vs Community's $5,The local accountant quoted a price before asking for a $"investigation" feeThat's the kind of people I like to do business withI tend to suspect the positive reviews on this boardI just can't imagine anyone so pleased with these grossly-inflated prices that they would take time to write a recommendation
