Needing help to deal with tax problems is never a good time. But Daniel [redacted] and Community Tax made it as painless as possible. I appreciated always being treated as a human being -- not just a customer with a number. Daniel went beyond the call of duty and was very considerate and conscientious.
Ms. [redacted] has been working with Dan [redacted], the Director of Customer Relations here at Community Tax since March of 2016. Mr. [redacted] has completed additional work that was not billed for- such as amending Ms. [redacted]’ 2011 return. The amended return will result in a reduction of [redacted] balance,...
however, the [redacted] does take time to process older tax returns. Dan discussed the current wage garnishment that the [redacted] has in place and Ms. [redacted] agreed to keep it in place while the [redacted] worked on processing the amended return. The return was sent to the [redacted] for processing on March 17. On April 28, we contacted the [redacted] to check on status of filed return and were asked by the [redacted] to give it at least 4 more weeks. On May 6th, Ms. [redacted] requested for information on submitting the forms required to set up an Installment Agreement; she informed Mr. Dan [redacted] that she would be filing these forms on her own. Dan also informed the client that he was scheduled to follow up with the [redacted] at the end of May to determine where they were at in processing the 2011 amended return. Ms. [redacted] emailed Mr. [redacted] informing him that the IA forms had been submitted. There has been constant communication from Mr. [redacted] with Ms. [redacted] and there was no indication of dissatisfaction or concerns.
After paying them over $4000 I lost my job wasn't able to meet the balance of the. $6000 required. They kicked me to the curb rescinded my power of attorney with the [redacted] and never heard from them until now, to request a good review to increase their standing from a C rating. Well I think the C rating is well deserved and wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Tax for the preparation of tax returns for 2010 through 2014 on April 21, 2015;
6 days after the 2014 filing deadline. An extension was filed by Client. Community Tax sent Client a tax
preparation organizer for each tax year to be completed...
by Client in order
to obtain the information necessary for preparing accurate returns. This
information was returned to Community Tax on August 25, 2015. On September
23, 2015, Community Tax mailed the 2010 through 2014 tax returns to
the client to review and sign. Client returned the necessary signature
pages on October 7, 2015. Community Tax filed the 2014 return on October
12, 2015 and the 2010 through 2013 returns on October 24, 2015. Client had balances on each of the tax returns because not enough tax was being withheld from Client’s W-2 wages.The 2014 tax return was assessed
an $81.00 penalty for failing to pre-pay the tax due and for the late payment
of the tax as the payment was due on April 15, 2015 regardless of the whether
the tax return was on extension or not. The client was going to owe
this $81.00 penalty no matter who prepared the returns after April 15,
2015.
I spoke with Mr.
[redacted] on 12/3/15. His biggest concerns were being shuffled between
several different tax preparers, having to resend documents he had already sent
in, and lack of responsiveness when he requested copies of his W-2 forms
back. Mr. [redacted] and I agreed to a refund of $500 to compensate for these
issues with return preparation. Mr. [redacted] agreed to withdraw his Revdex.com
complaint.
Community Tax Relief went above and beyond to settle my case and large tax debt with the IRS. There team of experts were always available to answer my questions and get me the best possible settlement they possibly could. I would highly recommend them.

Community Tax LLC has been a life saver for our family. Long story short the [redacted] was really coming down hard on me after the 2008 economy downturn, closing my business, laying off 34 workers/friends and losing everything. I had called several companies that advertise on the radio and TV and couldn't get clear answers to a plan that would work for me that was affordable.
