JOSH C is amazing! As a first home buyer, he patiently anwers all our questions, make sure we understand every step and kindly explain every technical words in a way we can understand it. He has helped us get lower fees. Closing process has been very quick, the rest of the loan team are well coordinated. Had a very smooth process in securing our loan.

From the procurement to closure, everything was best of all in industry as per my experience. Loan officer to handler to co-ordinator and closure officer were very supportive and nice experience working with them. Everyone was quick and responsive. Also, every step during loan process is conveyed proactively at every milestone.

Great experience! After starting with Quicken Loans, I decided to shop around using Credit Karma. First hit was ConsumerDirect and I am so happy I shopped. Dean C did a great job walking me through the process which was streamlined much better than Quicken and a much better deal for me. The entire team was professional and helpful throughout the process. I will be calling them for sure next time!

The was great ease of business provided by Dean C. and his team. The closing time that was demanded by the seller was very narrow and they met and completed the challenge.

Charles P., my Consumer Direct mortgage broker, and Jonathan T., my loan coordinator/underwriter, we're both excellent. We had to move the closing up by a month because I was leaving the country and it was a hot property. I did not want to lose the deal. They fast-tracked everything for me and made sure that it happened on time! Super responsive team. Wonderful to work with.

At first they were so polite and friendly and every thing was perfectly acceptable, I even got my pre-approval then they asked for more documents like paystubs and prove of income and work verification, salary key and employer code,they sent me the second commitment and so I was pretty sure that I will get the loan.
After almost two month of the process and just 2 weeks before final closing date suddenly they emailed me and asked for a higher income proof to get approval. We were all shocked and blindsided, they simply denied me the mortgage because of some mishandling of the documents.
I was not the first one with such last minute denial, it seems this is happening on regular basis as other customers also had similar denial problems. Not sure if they deliberately let you pay for the appraisal while you're not really approved, it seems like a side business for those who don't get approved ?
I was upset and told them you had wasted my time and money and my honest review will not be good for your business, however but the gentleman proudly said we are 5star mortgage company and we don't care about couple of bad reviews as it has no impact on the 5 star ! They also did not return the appraisal fee which they got after approving my initial application.
