I found ConsumerDirect Mortgage via CreditKarma and what a great find it was. I worked with Charles P. (sr. mortgage banker) in FL and Brianne B. and Lori K. in NC - all of them are great professionals who demonstrate integrity and excellent customer service. When you are trying to close on a mortgage within tight time frames, responsiveness is key and Charles, Brianne and Lori were all extremely responsive. The interest rate provided was also competitive at the given time, additionally, Charles also kindly referred me to reliable sources of home insurance. They made the process as smooth as possible for me, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone. I have no doubt that in the future while paying mortgage, I will also have a pleasant experience if I need to interact with any of the officers again or I need to call customer service. I am very glad that I chose this company and I connected with Charles, Brianne and Lori - thank you for all your work and support!

In my opinion I believe it to be Unethical and Deceptive Business practices, in dealing with this lender he was not up front with information. I inquired about a dispute with the appraisal. He told me, "I can't talk about it with you, its against the law nor can I do a refund." I was advised by *** to contact ValuTrust directly. I called them and spoke with a Supervisor named *** he was very polite and honest as I explained what *** told me and that I wanted my fee of $455 refunded. *** advised me, *** gave you false information, he can indeed talk with you about it because Consumer Direct is the owner of the appraisal and he is your agent." I called *** back and informed him of this and there was a brief moment of silence, I thought we were disconnected. *** was dancing around the issue and not answering me directly. I then told him that in my opinion he was Unethical and deceptive with me and not being honest. I asked him straight up, "You going to refund my money or what." *** stated in a sarcastic voice " I spoke with my supervisor and he said you're not getting a refund." From my personal experience with this individual I do not recommend this company.

Got my home equity loan approved with CDMTG. Experience was smooth and easy. Their agents are helpful and very responsive to all my questions. Rate is very competitive, and with the executive membership with Costco, I saved additional several hundreds in closing cost. Thanks Costco's referral to CDMTG!

My relationship with Consumer Direct Mortgage came about through a cold call I made inquiring about interest rates and fees on home loans. I had the pleasure of meeting Charles. My good luck! He was professional yet personable from the beginning and provided me (a first time home buyer) with advice and insight into the mortgage lending process that made it much less stressful than it needs to be. He simplified the process for me and was a pleasure to work with.

I had a wonderful experience with ConsumerDirect Mortgage. Charles was our loan officer and I absolutely recommend him! He was efficient, friendly and professional. Lori the purchase coordinator and Nate the loan processor were also wonderful to work with. My emails and texts were responded to promptly and this team was able to work very quickly to remove all loan contingencies within a short timeframe (per the sellers' request) even though it was a VA loan. Went to Consumer Direct after starting with Rocket Mortgage.Their web portal not as user friendly but adequate if you are computer savvy.Their quote was superior to Rocket Mortgage and was consistent at closing.Their agents Charles P. and Matt G. walked me through the process which was painless.Also,the cost for title insurance was less than my attorney could provide.Strongly recommend.

We used Consumer Direct for our recent home purchase. In a business full of empty vessels and slick talkers, Arthur M. stands out as a Mortgage Banker who knows his stuff, is well informed, and who stays with you all the way to closing. No rate changes or expense surprises last minute. As a past President and COO of a very large financial services company, I am difficult to impress, but I was. On top, Arthur is a cool, collected and decent human being. That is an intangible you will appreciate only when you look back after closing. I will recommend him every time I get a call from a family member or friend for a referral. Try Arthur, he will not fail you.

Overall they did a great job. My realtor also thought they did well and were prompt with any requests he or I made.

If I would knitpick one thing, it would be that after my initially application fell through due to inspection, the submission of documents for the new loan was a little clunky. This was remedied through sending documents directly to the closing processor and wasn't difficult.

I went through Costco's website and picked ConsumerDirect over similar offers based on one of their employee's, Charles P., customer service. He responded to numerous questions quickly and honestly. The whole process from start to finish with easy with ConsumerDirect. Communication was clear throughout.

I needed to re-finance my current home for a cash-out mortgage to purchase a retirement home. Taking "let the lenders compete" advertisement to heart, I contacted a number of online lenders. There were two that stood out at the end, since my main goal was maximizing the amount of money that I could get for closing on the new home (I will pay it off withing 3 years when I retire and have access to that money or when I sell my current home.) I chose ConsumerDirect for three reasons, 1) it is a division of FirstBank, a very old and respected bank; 2) they tied for the best rates and final package; 3) my interaction with Charles P., the senior loan officer who worked closely with me when setting up the quote and then following through all the way. I could tell that Charles was committed to his clients and helping them through the process. He was nearly as excited as I was when my wife found our old surveythus saving us about $500 in closing costs.
