The team at ConsumerDirect Mortgage made my refi simple, flawless, and quick - emphasis on quick. I closed and had the cash-out in my checking account in exactly 33 days, from first contact to receiving the funds. Of course some of that is on me, producing documents and e-signing things quickly, but most of the work was of course on them and they performed flawlessly. The entire team communicated well, particularly Charles P. who was always available regardless of the day or question I was asking...very impressive considering we did business on different coasts with a 3-hour difference and me working long hours leading up to the holidays. Every promise was delivered, every commitment kept. Would refi again with them without hesitation and probably will should the rates come down! Recommend with the highest confidence.

Charles P. from Consumer Direct was prompt and professional. He answered a variety of questions and explained the various costs and fees associated with closing. We were able to buy down our interest rate, which we appreciated.
The rest of the team I can not recommend as highly. Important papers were not filed as needed which caused a several hour delay in closing.
Then one of the title company reps made a several thousand dollar over payment and called us to ask us to call the mortgage company and request it be returned. True story.
Having a delayed closing had a domino effect on many of our plans. It required quick changes to plans such as movers and cleaners, done that had been set up for over a month.
It caused additional stress at an all ready very stressful time.This is the first time that something we purchased through a Costco referral went poorly. I'm sorry because some of the team did their job well, but others not so. I can not recommend.

Our experience with ConsumerDirect was as professional and efficient as any you might have with a local bank, but the rates and fees were much more to our liking. While our real estate agents were advising us not to go with online financing, we had done our due diligence on ConsumerDirect and found they have excellent ratings. So we proceeded with the confidence that all was well. And it was.
