My husband *** and I were signed up for the Bubble Run that was supposed to take place in Minneapolis, MN on June 11th, 2017. I had payed for both our registrations on January 29th 2017. It was $53. On May 24, 2017 they changed the date of the event without notice 2 weeks before the event. They were not offering any refunds but yet were still letting people sign up. Lots of people were unable to make the new date scheduled for July 30th, 2017 including myself. My husband and I will be camping. I contacted [email protected] & the bubble run *** page. I've also contacted [email protected] as well as active.com website. I am no longer at the same bank I was at in January and I requested a full refund for my husband and I. I called my old bank to see if I got a refund and they said they can NOT accept anything from anyone if I'm no longer there. I requested to the bubble run to send me the full amount to my home. And they said I needed to contact my old bank. And that they're only refunding 1 participant. I have got the run around for quite sometime & lots of emails. So, I decided to go through you. *** registrations have been refunded to the credit card that was on file through Active. Unfortunately, once those funds have been sent to the banking institution, the bank will need to send them a check.

I have gotten NO refunds for any 2 registrations. First, they said they could only refund 1 out of 2. Then, I said I was NOT at the same bank I was at when I purchased the Bubble Run tickets. I called my old bank and they said they DO NOT have any "check" for me. They said I'm no longer a member and there is nothing else they can do. I told them about a "check" I would get from active or the bubble run and they said there was none. And they can't accept any if there was, because I'm not a member and I do no exist there or it would get sent back. I emailed active lots of times telling them this and I want my refund mailed to me. I registered for an event months in advance, paid my registration costs in full. It was for an outdoor glow war event in July in the State of Illinois. They cancelled the event and rescheduled it for the month of October with no notice. I did call their customer service and they only told me that I was re-registered for the October event. I asked if they understood that the colder weather in October is not optimal for an outdoor water war. They only stated that they don't know what the weather is like in Illinois and that they do not issue refunds and cannot help when an event gets rescheduled. Please do not register for any events with this company. I believe that they are also related to ***. Beware of this company and do not your lose money to their business practices that resemble a very fraudulant misleading scam.

I signed up for the Bubble run, and they rescheduled the date to July 30th,2017 and I am not able to make it. I have emailed Cool events, June 8th and I was told 7-10 business days I would receive my refund, still nothing. I emailed them again, they said that active.com is processing the purchase and that it is taking longer than they thought. Well, I emailed active.com and they said that I have to contact Cool events in order to get my refund.

Cool Events advertised event (Bubble Run - Minneapolis) to be held on a certain date and then changed the date as they had failed to get proper permitting for the original date. Advertising was misleading. I would never have signed up for the event if it was to be changed as we will be out of town on the rescheduled date. While they do have a "small print" disclaimer, this does not absolve them from fair and honest business practices.

It was reported on the KSTP (local news station) both in a newscast and online that Cool Events had agreed to offer refunds to Minneapolis customers requesting them. *** of MN/SD Revdex.com was quoted. When I contacted the company, they are refusing my request for a refund of $105.76.

I signed up to participate in the Bubble Run in Minnesota on June 11th. With minimal notice, Cool Events changed the date of the event and the new event will not work for me. I requested a refund ($26.44) of the amount I paid. I was told via email on June 2nd that I would be receiving a refund within 7 - 10 business days. I have not received a refund. I have emailed 2 additional times to inquire on my refund and am not receiving any response.

My apologies on bogging down your system (I know I'm certainly not the only one with this issue), but I'm not sure how else to get the refund I was promised.

My mother, husband and I all registered for the Bubble Run in Blaine, MN for June 11th, only to find out two weeks before the event that they had changed the date to the end of July. We are all out of town on a family vacation the week it was moved to, so I contacted the Bubble Run team via email on 06.01.17, who emailed me immediately afterward stating we would all see our refund within 7-10 business days. I contacted them on day 11, after not having received our refunds asking for a status update. I received no response back, so I sent another email today, 17 business days later (still no refund) to again ask for a status update and to let them know I'd be filing a complaint against them.

I signed up for Cool Events "Bubble Run" in Blaine, MN with the understanding that the event would be on June 11th. Two weeks before the event an announcement was made on ***, no email to anyone who had signed up, stating the date was being changed to July 30th. Come to find out the reason for this change was that the event did not apply for the permits it needed from the city. I am not able to attend the new date so have requested a refund. After four emails to the customer service department I was able to get confirmation that I would receive a refund. I was told in the email that a refund could take 7-10 business days however tt has now been 14 business days since the email and no refund. I contacted them again about the refund and was told to "be patient". Seeing as it takes them 30 seconds to take my money I do expect to receive it in a timely fashion as well. I have been very unhappy with the customer service I have received from this company and am disappointed in the way they do business. At this point though I am owed my money back and have yet to receive it. I have now been working to get the refund for 5 weeks.

I signed up for a fun race and the management of this event decided to change the date as they had too many people signing up. Then they changed their story and said it was a permit issue. The website never mentioned that they could do this and the new date of the race is one I cannot attend. I asked for a refund and finally received and email that I would get a full refund within 7 - 10 business days from June 2nd. I have seen nothing and am getting no response to my emails to the management. This company has had my money for months and I believe this is horrible business practice not to refund customers in a timely manner.

This company organizes the nationwide "Bubble Runs" and they changed the date of the Minneapolis run and have not issued refunds (or responded to requests to do so) to those of us who are unable to attend the new date.

I had anticipated participating in the Bubble Run in Minneapolis on June 11th, 2017. As soon as the new date was announced for the 31st of July. I was very disappointed to hear this because I absolutely cannot participate. I then proceeded to email Cool Events LLC for a refund because this is very unacceptable. I had not received an email for about two weeks only to find that they only thing I could do would not benefit me in any way. I am very disappointed in this company and I deserve a refund. It is just unacceptable to change dates after so many people had already registered. Maybe you shouldn't solicit the dates without having a permit.

I purchased 3 tickets in January to participate in their 'Bubble Run' 5K for June 11th at the National Sports Center, in Blaine, MN. I heard through social media that the date was changed to July because they failed to get their permits approved on time. I also heard they oversold their tickets. We are unavailable on the new date and I've been trying to request money back for all 3 tickets for $79.32.

I've emailed '[email protected]' twice and finally received an answer that I would receive my money back. However it's been past the 7-10 business day window and still no credit.

On January 1, 2017 mu husband and I registered for the Bubble Run in Blaine, MN.set for June 11, 2017. 18 days before the event they announced via *** that they are rescheduling the event to July 30. We are unable to attend that day and simply want a refund. After searching for contact information and only finding email address I emailed them and got a generated response auto reply several times before they finally responded saying they aren't honoring refunds. After emailing back and forth several times they finally said they would refund the two registrations back to my card in 7-10 business days. It has now been over 2 weeks and now get zero response to emails.

I signed up for a bubble run online for myself and my daughter in *** for the date of June11th, 2017. I received an email a few weeks before the race that the date would be changed by over a month, to July 30th, 2017. without any real explanation of why this was being changed. Myself and my daughter an now unable to attend because of prior commitments. I contacted this company via email and was told they would not refund me for my 2 registrations, however, my other 2 teammates who signed up also emailed this company and were given a refund without any issue.

The Minneapolis bubble run had a date change. My family is unable to attend this new date. A request via email for a refund was sent and on 6/1/17 a response email stated I would receive a refund in 7 to 10 days. Yo this date np refund had been received. 2 additional emails have been sent since with no response.

Cool Events LLC changed the date of a fun run I was going to do. They agreed via email on June 1, 2017 to refund my account in the amount of $79.32 in 7-10 business days. I have not received the refund and they are currently not responding to my emails. I have emailed them 2 times after the 10 business day mark. They also agreed to refund the money to customers that signed up for the first date when they requested the permit through the city of Blaine, MN.

I emailed this company twice asking for a refund because I am not able to make it to the changed date of June 30th. I was told 13 days ago that I would get a refund within 7-10 business days. I have yet to receive my refund. I emailed back two days ago and I received no response back from the company. All I want is my refund back then the solution would be gone.

After a couple weeks of emails (multiple!) I finally got Bubble Run to email me stating I was receive a refund. I was promised 7-10 days & it was now 19 days.

I gave them all my info necessary (two transactions) and verified that the had the correct card number for reimbursement.

I have not heard back since then. I have emailed multiple times.

My son is devaststaed about not being able to do this event now. I will NEVER sign up for one under them again.

I want my money back!

I registered my son for the Minneapolis (Blaine) race on 6/1/2017 and the race date was changed. I was not notified that this date had been changed until I asked a co-worker about it. Not only can we not make the new date, we did not received any notification that the race date had been changed. He was registered for the 8am heat. I sent an email to the organizer on 6/8/2017, asking for a refund, and they did not respond. Total payment was $34.09

This business cancelled a fun run (Bubble Run) that was supposed to take place in MN on June 11. They moved the date to the end of July with less than two weeks notice. They will not respond to emails and are not giving refunds to people that are not able to make the new date. This is ridiculous since it was their lack of planning that caused the date change. My son was very sad that he didn't get to attend this race with me.

I signed up for a bubble run 10/21/16 for a 6/3/17, adding the shipping option ($20) to get registration stuff ahead of time therefore not having to attend the race early. I was never shipped stuff and told to let someone at the booth know and they will provide a refund. I did that and that person said to email a Jaden (***). I never received a resonse. I also informed the [email protected] email in which someone tried to say I did not purchase the shipping option. After providing my receipt to show I did, I was told I would be credited. I was then told I would receive a check in the mail. I did receive a check, but for $7 not $20.
