Review: I went through Cricket wireless website ( https://www.cricketwireless.com/shop/byod.html ). had to enter my IMEI # to check compatibility, I would not have ordered if this did not check out. I paid for the sim card $9.99 and $40 for one month prepaid service. I received the sim card today and have spent many hours trying to get results. The phone does not work with a cricket sim card. Cricket says phone must be unlocked. The phone works on different carriers and is unlocked but will not work with the cricket sim card. Verizon says it is unlocked but that an unlocked phone will only work with non USA based sim cards for international use. If cricket had been upfront about their sim card possibly not working I would not have purchased. When I asked customer service at cricket how to return the sim card and get a refund for something that has not worked and will not work, I was told they do not offer refunds on service. WHAT SERVICE??? It has not worked at all.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund of $50.79 $9.99 sim card $40 1 month service $.80 tax

Review: On August 5, 2014 I purchased 2 Lumia 630 phones with intent to get a $50 rebate for both. Upon purchasing the phones the salesman stated that when you send it in it takes about a week to come back if that. He told me only thing I had to send was the photocopy of the imei numbers and other things on the side of the boxes, which he did himself. I sent both rebate forms in the middle of September and after 2 weeks I didnt receive anything I contacted Cricket Wireless and thats when I found out it take 2 to 2 1/2 months to receive them. I was also informed that I was declined because I didnt have the purchasing receipt along with the rebate form and photocopied paper. I did what the guy at the store told me to do and it was not correct so now I have to send the purchasing receipt in order for them to do anything.Desired Settlement: Instruct store managers on how to advertise such sales and deals. 2 to 2 1/2 months is a very long time to wait for something, that isnt fair and it should be stated as such before the purchase is even made.

Review: I bought my phone at a Cricket store in Dec. 2013. When it started to act up, I took it back to the store and they told me I had to mail it back to them because it was under the 12 month warranity. I mailed the phone back and received a different phone of the same make. The phone they sent me never worked right, because it was refurbished. I called again to have them send me yet another shipping slip to seen this phone back. Now they cannot match the numbers ([redacted]) to their records they told me I am responsible to buy a new phone, because they have no records of this phone. This is because they did something wrong on their end not mine. I talked to customer service as well and instead of offering me something the tried to sell be something. I believe they should send me the Galaxy 4 I was originally promised when the first phone broke. I should not have to spend any money to get a different phone when they sold me a disfunctioning phone and then replaced it with a worse phone. I am still in my 12 month warranity plan. I should not have to use my insurance plan when I did not damage the phone. It has a manufacturing problem. My deductible is $200 why would I pay that when it is their fault not mine. Also they know the Source phones have manufacturing problems.Desired Settlement: A month of free service and a Galaxy 4 like I was promised.

Review: I had been Cricket customer for 2 years, no issue. I upgraded my handset on 7-6-14 and it has been a disaster since. They promised the same terms as previous, but changed without my knowledge. The phone NEVER OPERATED as it should. I could not receive calls, they went straight to VM. I went to to retail stores and they couldn't help and were to busy to care. I spent HOURS on the phone with customer service to no avail. They cut my service off twice even tho I was paid and current. They sdmitted the mistake and promised to restore service and compensate, but did not. They now refuse my calls and leave their VM full so no messages.I am trying to port to another carrier, but out of spite, they refuse to allow me to port my number.[redacted]; ###-###-####- [redacted], ###-###-####SIX DAYS WITH NO PHONE. HELP!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Send them to prison. Since that is unlikely, it would be nice of them to comply with federal law and allow me to port my number.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] in regards to porting his Cricket telephone number. In his complaint, Mr. [redacted] claims he was unable to use his Cricket service and Cricket is refusing to allow his Cricket phone number to be ported out. Mr. [redacted] would like Cricket to allow him to port out his number and for Cricket to be sent to prison.
We apologize to Mr. [redacted] for any inconvenience or poor service he felt he received. Cricket strives to provide excellent service and we regret when that high standard is not met.
After reviewing Mr. [redacted]’ account, it was found that his number successfully ported out on October 7, 2014. Cricket no longer has Mr. [redacted]’ number in our systems.
We thank Mr. [redacted] for his communication and trust that this explanation properly addresses his complaint.

Review: Cricket Wireless associates promised that I would receive a $50 rebate for each line on my account. I have three lines. I witnessed the Cricket Wireless associates staple the original receipt to each rebate form. They then recommended the form be mailed immediately. I sent in the documents as prepared by the Cricket Wireless associates immediately. I was shocked to receive a couple of post cards from Cricket Wireless declining two of the three rebates. They claimed that the forms lacked the original receipt. I immediately contacted the store. At that time the associate advised they would settle this in-store. However after going back to the physical store the associates advised they wouldn't be able to help in store. This is a scam to get new customers. They cheated me out of $100.00 in rebates. This is an unethical business practice!Desired Settlement: I deserve to have my rebates honored. Especially considering that the Cricket Wireless associates prepared the rebate form and stapled the original receipts in the store before me leaving with my new phones. This was suppose to guarantee the success of my full rebate.

Review: I went into the Cricket store in Palmetto, Fl spoke to [redacted] about starting a new service plan. I wanted to carryover my IPhone from my previous company, he hooked it to a machine and said that would be no issue at all. I asked if I had any issues can I cancel service and get reimbursed, he stated that was no problem at all. On the 5th day I received a text my data usage was almost gone (which I barely use data). Not only that, no one could ever hear me they said my phone was breaking up, and I would be in an open space outside on the expressway, there was no reason my phone should not be working. I went into the same store in Palmetto and spoke to a girl ([redacted] was not there). I told her the 7 day cancel rule was not up, this was only the 6th day and I was unsatisfied with my service and wanted it cancelled. She then called [redacted] he told her no problem, just call Customer Service and they would issue me a check for the money I paid to start service and my first month. I called and first spoke to [redacted], who kept me on hold for over 5 minutes (I was on the phone a total of 45 minutes waiting) without even checking in. Then we were magically disconnected. I called back for a second time spoke to a supervisor named Mariette Sitoc ID# [redacted], told her my issue, again we were disconnected. I called back a THIRD time asked for a manager spoke to [redacted] ID#[redacted]. Explained the situation, she refused to help said there was nothing she could do. I told her I needed this resolved she had employees lying to me so I would switch service over to them. She was extremely rude and actually ended up hanging on me. I have been a customer service supervisor for over 8 years, and this was by far the worst customer experience service I have EVER encountered. If one of my employees hung up on someone, they would be fired. I only had the service 6 days, all I wanted was my money reimbursed for the service they promised that I did not receive. I don't appreciate being lied to and I have lost faith in this company.Desired Settlement: I want full reimbursement for the service that they promised and said would work. I am not asking for anything free I just want to be compensated for the lack of service I was told I would receive even after they put their sim card and hooked up to their machine and assured me that my iPhone would work on their service.

Review: I ordered Cricket wireless service on 09/22 with Nokia Lumia 630 with rebate of $50 that showed in their website. But when I submitted the rebate, it was denied and said that service was activated out of offer date. This is because the Rebate form shows offer date as 09/26 - 11/13 where as website has rebate from 09/12.I called the cricket customer service and they said they will send me a new rebate form with correct date, but I haven't received anything yet. Here is the link that shows offer valid for 09/12 to 11/13. https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/orders-and-activations/mail-in-rebates/c...⇄ when you click rebate form(English version), PDF show offer date from 09/26 - 11/13.This is the error in their system and I need my rebate credit. Thanks!Desired Settlement: Check or credit for $50 ( rebate amount).

Order was made at 11:58 am on December 2, 2014. Received confirmation email and funds taken out of my account. At 3:57 pm on same date received email stating ordered was canceled due to too many lines on their service. I have NO lines on their service at all. Did not returned the 268.43 dollars to my account. Said I needed to go to brick and motar store to get service. Went to Cricket store and they wouldn't honor the internet price and that I had to 500 plus for same phone and service. This is on top of the monies above. The phone number on their website is automated only. Got in their chat que as customer #175 was c
r 125 when service cut off at 7pm eastern time. Check my account online online and a different number was on there. Called it and after 2 hours got ahold of an obvious barely English literate person. Claimed was in US, but couldn't tell me what the capital of US was obvious lie. Transferred me to warranty just to get rid of me and the on hold started over with getting another Indian that couldn't pronounce the name [redacted]. Was told I needed to go back to online site and reorder. Yeah that's going to happen. So apparently I gave ATT(yeah they bought Cricket) a short term loan until my money is returned. Already canceled card and filed a dispute with card company. Wow what a shyster company you are ATT.Desired Settlement: Would like interest on loan made to Cricket. Since Cricket obviously lied about having phone in stock. Also saying the exact amount is a pre-auth. Says nothing about pre-auths on thier website. Also a pre-auth is for more than service or product not exact amount.Since Cricket made me a private bank. I informed them (recorded it) that my interest rate starts with a 25.00 dollar surcharge for first hour and a dollar a minute afterwards which started at 6:48 pm CST. Yes I can do this.
Review: A payment in the amount of $70.00 was made to Cricket communications for my May bill, via bill pay, through my checking account. The payment hit Cricket on May 1, 5 days ahead of the actual due date, because if I pay them on the due date, their accounting dept doesn't get it. Today, May 9, my service was discontinued and I called Cricket to discuss. I got an automated system telling me that I could not reach a person at that number (800 cricket) but that in order to reinstate my service, I had to pay with a credit card, the amount of $71.00. I processed the (second) payment and my service was turned back on. I then spent the rest of the day trying to find out why they turned off my service and they told me they have no record of the May 1 payment. This is not the first time this has happened with Cricket. I have a confirmation from my checking account that the payment was initiated so that Cricket would receive it on May 1. I spoke with 4 people over the course of the evening who I had to keep explaining over and over and over again when the payment from my bank was sent. When I asked for the Corporate Office contact info, the rep told me they "don't have that information" ... then I asked for a manager who kept me that I said I made the payment on the 3rd (???)I don't know if they are trained to play a shell game or if they truly could not understand what happened. They said they would file a "payment inquiry" but I don't believe they are going to pursue it. One of the reps didn't even understand what Bill Pay is. I spent 3 hours being tossed around with this game and no resolution. I am going to email a scanned copy of my bank receipt but I don't trust they will resolve it on their own, without supervision from another authority.Desired Settlement: I want a refund to the credit card that I had to charge the second payment to. And I want a legitimate receipt that this has been authentically refunded.

Review: I purchased a new phone which ended up not working; no signal, no data, no connectivity what so ever. The corporate cricket store explained I would have to go through their warranty department because of new laws that were passed last year which I did. I have now sent my phone in 3 times. The first time I sent it in they sent me another phone that did not work. The second time they sent me the wrong phone. The third time they sent me the wrong phone again. Now they tell me they don't have any history about the phone that I sent in the first place explaining that I need those specific numbers to receive the right phone which I do not have. Spending countless hours with numerous departments on the phone which all inquire they cannot help me to only send me to the next has made me exhausted.Desired Settlement: I would just like a refund of my money on the phone purchased which has never worked nor been replaced with a working phone. And/or credited x amount of dollars the phone was purchased for to buy a replacement.

Response:
It is my pleasure to reply that cricket has gone above and beyond to assure quality service. Although, this was after a complaint was filed. It took me months to finally get a working phone that was of equal or greater value than the one I purchased. I commend cricket with following through but it would not of happened without me refusing to just go and spend money on another new expensive phone like they insisted to begin with. In conclusion im just letting you know the problem has been resolved and I would like to remove my complaint. Thank you for all your guy's hard work down in sandiego and who ever ends up reading this just let everyone know down in the office.....Thank You and have a great day.

Review: - Ordered Phone on OCT 23 2014. Order #[redacted], 2 day shipping. I'm a new customer.- Received email from cricket wireless that the phone shipped 10/24- Noticed the UPS tracking info the company sent says the "Order processed: Ready for UPS", but it never changes to "shipped".- After a few days, I called UPS and they said it was never picked up, and I need to contact the sender.- I've been contacting the cricket wireless almost every day, and they keep giving me the run around. They say they will call me back or email, and they never do. They said they there is nothing they can do until the warehouse responds, but the warehouse never responds. I asked if they can ship a replacement, and they said the can't. I asked for my money back, and they said the can't.- Today is 2 weeks after my initial order and I have no phone or updated UPS tracking info. I think my only option is to do "charge back" with my credit cart.- I'd also like to mention how bad there customer service is. There is no email to contact them. There is a chat function but they just tell me to call the support number, and they can't help. The support number is very confusing, and doesn't even have a option for online orders. You have to go to the warranty department. Although some of the people in the warranty department seemed nice, they couldn't do anything. The supervisor I [redacted]ed to was rude, and said all she can do is send a email to the warehouse and I would have to wait. She seemed like she didn't care, and just kept repeating the same line.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my order or my money back.

Review: On 3/11/13 my cellular phone was disconnected. Payment was made in a timely fashion and usage was available. However, I was told that someone made a payment (unknown person only first name given [redacted] )on April 8th for $63.00 and a returned check came back resulting in cricket disconnecting service. Now here's the issue I have. I made payment via online service using a debit card which covered usage until 4/25/13. Cricket did not recognize that or even try to resolve the issue. Cricket Representative ( [redacted]) whom I was referred to after being re-routed to several departments (on the phone for approx 1 hr) to handle the issue stated payment was needed ??????????. Again, payment was made on 3/28/13 which covered 1 month time span until 4/25/13. Today is April 12, 2013.(I still had up until 4/25/13) Service was suspended. After stating my case; the obvious and despite some unknown person made a payment to the wrong account and check came back void. Cricket recognized that as My problem and did not bother to offer options or resolve the issue. Cricket wanted me to pay them money before my due date to restore service. I had nothing to do with payment being posted to my account in error(an unknown in error was in fault). I will no longer patronize Cricket Wireless Services, Customer service is the worst. I will advise others of your POOR customer service and greedy ways to extort valued customers.Desired Settlement: The days I paid for in advance from 4/11/13 (SERVICE SUSPENDED)to 4/25/13 ( days should be honered for payment was made on 3/28/13. 14 DAYS

Dear Sir/Madam;
This correspondence is in reference to a
complaint filed by [redacted], regarding Cricket billing. In her complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that
someone incorrectly made a check payment on her account for $63. The check was returned, which resulted in the

bounced, which caused Ms. [redacted]’s account to suspend. We have reactivated her account and issued a

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Due to the suspension of my phone service, I was without any means of communication thus, repurchasing a new phone and activating service was vital and very costly at my expense. For said reason, your offer to reactive phone service is of no good or value to me. I have officially suspended my business with Cricket Communications for poor service. I would like to be reimbursed for the days my account was suspended and or the cost I spent on new phone services via check. No other remedy will be accepted.

Review: The service is horrible as well as the quality of Crickets broadband.I have a five gigabyte limit per month and am nowhere near reaching it yet my internet is running at a slow pace below what was advertised. I have tested it out in different locations but have received the same slow download and slow video streaming. This is by far the worst quality internet and should not be offered if it fails to provide even the basics of what is being advertised. Calling in and asking for help did nothing for me as the representative simply said it was my computer. The computer I currently own is a brand new gaming desktop that should have no trouble with using the full capacity of cricket.I have tested it out also at a family members with faster internet and it reaches the max advertised speed with no problems at all.Desired Settlement: Tell them to fix their internet or to stop offering something that can't even match what is advertised.

Dear
Sir/Madam:
This
correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding
Cricket Broadband service. In his complaint, Mr. [redacted] states that he is
dissatisfied with his Cricket Broadband service. He states that he has a five
gigabyte limit per month included in his rate plan, but is nowhere near
reaching it yet his internet is running at a slower pace than Cricket advertises.
Mr. [redacted] states that he has tested it out in different locations but receives
the same slow speeds when downloading or streaming video. Mr. [redacted] states that
he attempted to contact Cricket about this matter and was told it was his
computer. He states that he has a brand
new computer that he has tested with other wireless networks, and it reaches
adequate speeds without any problems. Mr. [redacted] is requesting that Cricket fixes
their internet or stop advertising a speed that he cannot achieve with his Cricket
Broadband device.
We
apologize for any inconvenience or poor service Mr. [redacted] he felt he received.
Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service at all times, and we
regret if that high standard is not met.
Cricket’s mobile data has always been sold with a
specific amount of full-speed data access and unlimited reduced-speed data
access. The amount of full-speed data is
noted for each rate plan in its list of features.
Full-speed data is data usage at the best
available speeds. Note that best
available speeds are always affected by the customer’s device, signal strength,
environmental conditions, and cell site congestion.
When Mr. [redacted] uses all of the full-speed data he
has purchased within a paid service period, Cricket doesn’t cut him off.
Instead, we allow him to continue using reduced-speed data for the remainder of
his service period. Reduced-speed data gives him access to all the same
applications and services as full-speed data but at slower speeds. We believe
this is the fairest way to keep everyone connected while allowing Cricket to
manage data usage on our network to provide the best experience for customers
still using the full-speed data they have purchased. Reduced-speed data is
typically equivalent to analog dial-up speeds.
In
reviewing Mr. [redacted]’s account we are able to see that he has exceeded his full
speed data limit each month since December 2012. Regarding Cricket’s broadband
service, Cricket does not guarantee its customer a broadband speed but provides
a range of speeds the customer may experience. Cricket also informs
customers that if their data usage harms the network or exceeds the usage level
they’ve selected per month, Cricket may reduce the customer’s broadband speed.
This speed control is clearly disclosed on all broadband advertising and is in

Review: I purchased the pay as you go broadband a few years ago and was always able to put money on my account when needed. I put $65 on my account on 5/30/2013. When trying to use the internet, it was running extremely slow. I tried calling customer service but kept getting the message that there was no customer service, I had to go to a retail store for service. I was told at the retail store that my data would not be available till June 8. On June 9, I was not able to access my broadband. I called customer service to be told they used my money for extra usage.Desired Settlement: I would like 65.00 back or 30 days of service

Review: On the 29th of June I stopped into the [redacted] and [redacted] in [redacted]. The young lady, [redacted], was helpful for the most part other than the fact I had to run back and fourth to my house serveral times because she couldn't remember everything I needed for activation. She was supposed to give me a free case and screen protector as well as a $25 bill credit, for my phone as compensation. Once I got home I realized she charged me for them. I called the store over the next serveral days to get ahold of the store manager, [redacted], he was NEVER in. I tracked down his phone number from his employees and called his personal number. I explained my situation and he did nothing to help me, he said he didn't believe me and their store never does refunds for any reason even if it wasn't my fault. He was so rude and unhelpful that I wanted to speak to his personal boss, he lied to me and told me there was no body above him and refused to give me anybody else's name and number to take my complaint to. I told him I would take my complaint to the Revdex.com if he wouldn't hear me out and work with me, [redacted] said to give him 24-48 hours to figure everything out and he would call me back. I've been waiting for that phone call for a week. [redacted] was the most unprofessional, rude, and worst manager I've ever delt with. He truly made this an awful experience. I wish I never decided on cell phone service with Cricket. I feel purposely ripped off.Desired Settlement: I want my refund for the $30 I was charged extra. As well as the store manager, [redacted]'s, personal boss' name and number so I can let them know how poorly the store is being run and according to [redacted], they don't exist.

I'm Filing a Complaint about a Wireless Carrier Called Cricket, Recently they released a New phone that worth $270 and now its $49.99 and its displayed on their webiste and stores nation wide as $49.99 but on 8/1/13 I went to a few of their stores just to buy the phone and I was told that a auto bill pay is required to get the phone, but I see no sense in what they were talking about so I dicided to call their 1-800 toll free number and I spoke the repersentive and he told what they told me is not required to get the phone. Anyways just to keep the story short I exprenced bad customer service from all the their stores. Here are the addresses [redacted]. I would like further action taking ASAP.
