I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The events the company have offered to transfer me to are out of state this year which is not w reasonable solution I'm an expecting mother & being able to run this race next year is a likely not going to happen I signed up for a race on a date & time that worked for me they cancelled the race so I'm simply requesting my money back

Here is my response back."I take exception to your email in regards to saying "I do not wish to transfer"You're incorrectly assuming I have the ability, both time and money, to be able to travel to an event either this year or next year, and just would like a refund in generalWhile it is a "bummer" it was cancelled, the service I signed up for was not provided to me and the options you have presented offer me no consolationIt is terribly greedy for Tough Mudder's only options in this situation to require me to spend more time and money not only to travel to the event but also to trainI simply just can't afford to do this over againWhether it is in the terms and conditions or not, the right thing to do here is to issue a refund.I realize that after attempting to contact TM for over a month with no response, I received a response the same day (today) I wrote a complaint to the Revdex.comA customer should not have to go to such lengths to get the attention from a businessI will not be retracting my complaint with the Revdex.com. Lastly, in every correspondence I sent I asked that a phone number be sent to me in order to contact a person in regards to this issueYou failed to meet this requestPlease do not respond to me again unless you are ready to discuss issuing a refund or are will to provide a phone number."
I paid for a serviced and was not provided the serviceTo expect someone to spend more time and money to obtain something they have already paid for is asinineI simply won't accept the options they have given for this factI won't consider the matter resolved unless issued a refund.Sincerely,

Thank you for your assistance in this matterDuring the registration process to purchase a ticket to a Tough Mudder event, a customer must first read and accept our termsThese terms, and the terms that *** *** agreed to contain the following clause: "Fee Refunds: I understand that all fees and associated costs (including optional product purchases, spectator tickets, and donations), paid in registration for this TM Event are not refundable for any reason." Attached please find a screenshot of the registration page for *** ***At the very bottom of the page, there is a check box as well as the text "I agree to the above waiver," which *** *** checked when she completed the registration for the event that she signed up forAdditionally, any customer who participates in the event must also read and sign these same terms in hard copy at the event venue before participating in the event*** *** both completed her registration and ran the race, both of which require acceptance of the above terms as a prerequisite. If you require the actual document signed by *** ***, it would be difficult, but I may be able to locate itIf the above is not sufficient please let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help you resolve this situationSincerely, *** ** ***

The customer transferred out of the Seattle event and into the Whistler event, Tough Mudder waived the transfer fee for this transferThe customer then decided to purchase a new ticket for the Seattle event afterTough Mudder was then contacted and asked to refund her new Seattle registration down to the original price she paidAs a courtesy Tough Mudder went against its no refund policy and refund her registration to the cost with a transfer fee addedThe customer was not satisfied although we already went against our own policy

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[While the recitation of their posted policy is appreciated, they also post the following: "Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-mile (18-km) obstacle course designed to test physical strenght and mental gritTough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a timed race but a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating, YET SAFE, world class obstacles they wont find anywhere else." This statement appears on their web site and inaccurately represents that the event is SAFE.My request for a refund is not based on an injury, scheduling conflict or any of the other reasons intimated in their policy. As publicized in the media, they cannot guanrantee the safety of the eventOnce their apparent negligence came to light, a refund was promptly requestedThe only acceptable and simplest resolution is a full refundThanks and apologies that this back and forth continues. ]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.Although the issue is resolved, I suspect that the only reason they've resolved the issue is because of opening this request with the Revdex.com Prior attempts to contact them through their advertised means have failed for me and many of my friends
