BMW of North America is able to offer [redacted] 40% off of the cost of the repair of her transmissionAfter testing done at the dealer and corporate engineering level, it was determined that the transmission did indeed need to be repaired due to a fault stored for the automatic transmissionWe believe that our offer to cover 40% of the cost of the repair is fair and reasonable given the nature of the concern

I am rejecting this response because:Lindsey with BMW refused to return any of the messages left over a week period, or any of my emails, tel:1-866-275-ext I am more than happy to pay out of my own pocket to have my car Inspected at crown MINI of [redacted] , however I e-mailed and called her multiple times asking if BMW would cover the engine repairs if the timing chain tensioner and rail did indeed malfunction and break, and the repairs listed were confirmed to have been completedI have received no response at all to my inquiries, making it clear to me that Lindsey was attempting to throw another hurdle up to avoid addressing a manufacturing and design defect BMW is liable forI want my question answered straightforwardly, because I'm not paying out of pocket for an inspection if BMW has no intention of covering their product under any circumstances

I have spoken with Mr [redacted] and this matter is currently still under reviewThe BMW of MtLaurel center has been working in conjunction with our engineering dept to resolve the customer issueA corporate review will be conducted to see how we can best address and resolve the complaint and reach an amicable resolutionI will contact you again when I have some additional information Kind regards,Rebecca

After a thorough investigation of the complaints presented, BMW NA has determined that we cannot provide Mr [redacted] with further assiatnce at this timeI have already spoken to Mr [redacted] today as wellHe will not be able to transfer his maintenace plan to his gifrieldn due to the fact that it is not a relationship that is formalized

Prestige BMW was able to inspect the vehicle and replaced the pins on the right front crash sensor to resolve the customer's concern with the passenger restraint airbag error lightThe repair was covered under warranty

Mr [redacted] was confused about the warranty coverage on his new BMW vehicle and wanted clarification after speaking to one of the reps in our call centerI outlined what is covered under BMWs manufacturer warranty and explained what our Maintenance Plan Upgrade was
