Regarding the valve seal repairs costing $6,000, *** ** *** has agreed to provide 10% in goodwill towards the parts and labor*** ** *** advised they performed a visual safety only inspection and not a diagnosis of the vehicle

This is an insurance and dealer issue. The dealers and body shop are privately owned and operated . This is not a defect with the vehicle therefore not a BMWNA issue

BMW
inspected the vehicle on 10/29/The inspection was performed by our Product
Analysis Specialist and the results were reviewed by
our National Engineering Group. Full dynamic testing was
performed. BMW’’s comprehensive
inspection of the mechanical brake system and steering
system, did not reveal any
faults, defects or malfunctions present. The
steering system evaluation revealed the power steering pulley had fractured in
half on impact; no indications of assist failure prior to the accident. The vehicle is not equipped with an Event Data
Recorder.According to our records, Recall 13V-related
to the repair of the Battery Positive Cable was performed on 4/17/13. The vehicle currently has no open recalls.Based on the results,
we are technically confident that there were no faults, defects or malfunctions
present in the vehicle at the time of our inspection that could have
contributed to the alleged brake system and power steering system failure complaint. BMW is confident
in the integrity of the inspections performed by our Engineers and stands by
the resultsAccordingly, BMW NA cannot accept responsibility for any damage, injury or
loss associated with the accident that occurred on or about October 11, 2015,

Thank you for contacting BMW of North America, LLC regarding your K GT. We are sorry the stalling concern for the motorcycle remains. I have reviewed you request for assistance with Motorrad USA and concluded the following: 1. The warranty for your motorcycle provided coverage up to years or 36,miles. Coverage for your motorcycle ended June 8, 2012. 2. There is no way to determine if your current complaint is related to a prior and previously performed recall without proper diagnosis.3. Motorrad USA has approved an offer of goodwill to cover 50% of the tow cost, one way and cover the cost of diagnosis at an authorized dealer of your choice. 4. If the results of the diagnosis are related to a previously performed recall, BMW will cover 100% of the tow cost, one way, and the cost of repair.5. The motorcycle will be required to have a valid registration and current insurance in order for the dealership to perform proper road testing. 6.
