I am rejecting this response because: I still have not been provided with a copy of this report with this detailed information from this inspectionFunny they can respond with the information but cannot provide me a copy of this reportI do not see where they addressed the issue involving the electrical system (NHTSA ID:13Vinvolving 504,vehicles). I also wonder how valid this information is if there is an issue involving the electrical systemAnother question I would like answered is why did*** *** *** *** ask me if it was raining the day that my car crashed? possibly a reading that came up as if the car hydroplaned because that is exactly how it feltAnd I would like to know why I still haven't been provided a copy of this reportI was advised by *** *** that my power steering failed but the wheel did not lock completelyI could have maneuvered the turn it just would have been very hard to doI have submitted the same information to the Attorney General of Connecticut, Attorney General of New Jersey, NHTSA and the Federal Trade CommissionI will continue in my pursuit to have this matter resolvedI am in the process of retaining an attorney and I have several friends and colleagues who are willing to sign petitions against this company as they have dealt with many electrical issues in their vehicles (BMW) as wellIt is clearly stated on my total loss report from my insurance company that the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration has issued a safety recall notice that applies to my vehicle."Electrical system: Fuses and circuit breakers BMW is recalling certain model year 208-1-series coupes and convertibles manufactured December 2007-July 2011; and 2007-3-series Coupes and convertibles manufactured March through July 2011; 2007-3-series sedans manufactured March through October 2011; 2007-3-series sports wagons manufactured March through June 2011; and 2009-Zvehicles manufactured March through June The connector for the positive battery cable connector and the corresponding terminal on the fuse box may degrade over timeOver time, the high current flow and heat from electrical resistance may lead to a breakage of the connection, and a loss of electrical power to the vehicleIf there is a loss of electrical power to the Vehicle, the vehicle may unexpectedly stall, increasing the risk of a crashBMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the positive battery cable connector and secure it with an improved method, free of chargeThe recall is expected to begin in March Owners may call BMW at *** or email BNW at ***Can someone please provide proof that this was actually done? When were dealers and BMW owners notified of the above issued statement from NHTSA? I would also like documentation of the black box report that advised the company that I could have turned with some extra muscle as well as a copy of the documentation showing when they addressed the issue they are claiming to have taken care of

Burton, Celeste/BMW 535i/CZ- Revdex.com Complaint Case ***In Service Date: 8/8/07Current Mileage: 135,583 BMW has declined this customer’s request to cover the cost for engine repairs on this vehicle due to the age and mileage of the vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:We find the response to our complaint from BMW of North America totally unacceptable because it does not address the issue at all.In their response they admit minor damages to the vehicle in question therefore corroborating the AutoVIN report with regard to repairs of the right hand side body panels. At the same time they refuse to investigate the extent of the damage and the location where the repairs were performedThis only reinforces our suspicions that the vehicle that we leased as “new” was not newThe reason for and the extent of the repairs was supposed to be truthfully and fully disclosedIf the dealership that delivered the vehicle was not made aware of the repairs then the responsibility lies with the BMW of North AmericaIf BMW of NA cared about their reputation and that of their dealers a mere possibility of such fraudulent action on the part of anyone in the BMW delivery chain should have triggered an immediate investigationThe fact of the matter is they made no effort to trace the vehicle history from the factory to the original dealership to the customer delivery dealership that could have revealed the circumstances and the extent of the repairsNor did they contact the AutoVIN in order to obtain additional clarifying details of the inspectionOnce more, any action affecting the vehicle performance or appearance, however minor, between the exit from the assembly line and the point of sale must be disclosed to the customer by the selling dealerObviously, if the vehicle was not registered there would be no Carfax report and no way for a customer to verify the information provided by the dealerThat’s why there are product disclosure laws, consumer protection laws, etc. We have no way of obtaining the data that affected the Vehicle Condition Report; only BMW of NA have necessary resources to obtain that informationTherefore, we consider our complaint unresolved and reiterate our demand for investigationIf BMW of NA cannot refute the AutoVIN report they have to accept responsibility for a violation of product disclosure laws, nullify the lease contract and refund the total amount of rent payments.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:
I have provided BMW NA with documentation and proof that the engine issues that resulted in a repair they're quoting $12K to fix is due to their negligence to address the issue WHILE under warrantyI have provided Corporate Customer Care and her Manager evidence that failures began as early as 2010; years old the car failed emissionscoils and compression issues in while still under warrantyThat coupled with SIB's and the open recall in which BMW expects me to pay for ANOTHER diagnostic after having one performed in DecemberThe failed part could have caused my current issue which may have caused personal harm to meAll of the SIB's and Recalls are engine relatedRather recalling their X5's, they auctioned them offI have provided them with evidence yet they dig their heels in claiming outside of warrantyThe car was serviced at BMW in Dallas Texas the entire timeCompression and emissions issues from through the expiration of the warranty in BMW Certified Technicians never fixed the problem for previous owners and I have evidence of this(attached) They should replace my car in its entirety!

I am rejecting this response because:The dealership is a direct representative of BMW,
therefore this is a BMWNA issueIf you feel comfortable that your flippant response is the absolute most you could possibly do to placate this BMW customer, then I will mark this as resolved and proceed to never do business with BMW again. If instead you find that you can actually do the slightest bit of work to show me that BMW is capable of customer service, you will communicate directly with the dealership the value of taking care of your customersAt this point I am upset that I was promised a loaner only to have the dealership renege on that promiseSo not only did the dealership lie to me, but wasted my time during business hoursTo repeat myself - this reflects on BMWNA as the dealership is the customer facing aspect in this interactionDue to their lack of remorse and unwillingness to work with me to secure another loaner, I am coming to you. I have resolved the issue directly with the body shop - who worked with me in an excellent mannerI do not need a loaner anymoreWhat I want from you is an apology and a follow up showing that you have worked with the dealership to improve their idea of customer serviceThese two simple things will keep me as a loyal BMW customer for the rest of my car-buying years (which, considering I am 26, is a long time of profits for you)
