Austin was very competent and caring as he tried to flush out my water heater and checked my home for any other repairs I might need Ethics and integrity are expensive and Ben Franklin seems to have both However, I do wish they would be more competitive in their pricing and I would use them even more

I am rejecting this response because: When I initially contacted the business they told me my card wouldn't be charged and it would be fine to pay upon check in. Once I noticed the charge, I contacted the business and Jay lied yet again saying that my money would be refunded in 24-hrs, 24hrs had already pastHe never stated anything about it taking 5-days or longer for my money to be replacedHe also was very rude and hung up on me while I was talking to himI think it's only right that they cover the overdraft charge on my account since they were NEVER supposed to run my card in the first place. But the fact that they took the room fee off of my debit card, and then took a cash payment from my stepson as well clearly blows meIf I hadn't of caught the issue, the Days Inn would have kept both payments without saying a word. I'll never stay at another Days Inn or recommend anyone to stay for that matterTHEY ARE CROOKS SO WATCH YOUR CARD TRANSACTIONS

The communication by phone was helpful, instructive and supportive Dakota, who installed the water heater was also helpful and informative I couldn't have felt better cared for and served

I am writing on behalf of the Days Inn La CrosseThis email pertains to ID number ***.As I was reading through the guest complaint, I noticed that the first complaint was trying to book a room onlineThat is not in our hands whatsoeverThe guest complains they tried several times to book
then did not notice a different check in dateThat would be their mistake for not checking their own check in/check out dateOur reservation only shows days coming in and days checking out so we would have had no knowledge of a different day being submittedTherefor a no show applies since they did not check in when we saw that they should have. As for the guest paying a higher rate, that is when dealing with third party reservations such as Hotwire, Priceline and Travelocity, for exampleThe rates are always substantially lower online then in houseOur policy is not to match 3rd party ratesSo the guest would have had to pay the in house rate for a room.As for the complaints pertaining to ice machines and breakfast on the other side of the building....there's not much we can do about that as the guest is told upon check in where the ice machines are and where breakfast isMatter of fact....the restaurant where breakfast is being served is about feet from the front counter in the lobbyGarbage and junk in the hallways and stairs I will dispute as we have many housekeepers and attendants throughout the building that would have noticed and cleaned the areas in questionI also don't feel because the building needs re-painting, to this guest, that it would warrant a refund of any kindI also question why this guest never brought these complaints to our front desk staff, housekeepers, maintenance or management at the time of the so called issuesIf they were here for breakfast the next day, that means they stayed the entire nightIf the issues were that bad, our front desk staff would have kindly moved them roomsWhy did they stay in that "bad"room" the whole night?In conclusion, we feel as Days Inn La Crosse that a refund is not warranted for the simple fact that the guest messed up their online reservation, did not go back and check when they were checking in and out, which again is out of our handsThey were a no show due to their own mistake so we should not have to issue a refund because of that or any other complaint you received. I thank you for your time in this matter

your accountIf your card was damaged, you could have requested a replacement card at anytimeWith that being said, even if you made a deposit at the ATM, there is no guarantee that those funds would be available immediately for you to useOne should never issue checks from an account until the funds are available for them to clearYou have received a onetime courtesy refund for the exact same fee a while back; therefore no additional refunds will be made

What a great experience! The scheduler was kind, courteous and got us an appointment fast and when we needed one
Dakota was fantasticHe contacted the manufacturer (Moen) and got us the replacement parts for free under the warranty terms!
He highly recommend them!!

I called Benjamin Franklin because there was a sticker on our old water heater to call Brewer if under one year and Benjamin Franklin if over one year We built out house years ago and the water heater went out After researching, the unit has a warrantee for years, so I figured call the number on the unit and they will facilitate the warrantee I called and they said there would be a $service charge and the rest would be be taken care of under warrantee Well, uptop arriving, the "plumber" (more like sales person), went through our house telling us everything we needed to get done, giving us estimates for random things for over $10, I JUST NEEDED MY WATER HEATER REPLACED I was told to replace the water heater under warrantee, it would be $(A far cry from the $service call) Then I was given estimates for their superior heater of $2, First of all, $2,for a water heater is highway robbery I was being pitched the 12-year service plan that came with it I asked for just a water heater and not a service plan and was first told that it was not available Then after talking (more like bargaining, I felt like I was at a car dealership) I was offered a 9-year plan, then 6-year plan It was 3:30PM on a Friday and at this point just wanted hot water for the family over the weekend I went with the 6-year plan and hot water heater (against my better judgment, but again just wanted hot water over the weekend and was against a corner) I should of called someone else from the beginning, but was originally told the old water heater would be covered under warrantee and did not know until late Friday that it would actually be $to "be covered" I do not like the bait and switch tactics, I do not like the high sales pressure environment and I do not like needing a simple water heater replaced and being pitched thousands of dollars in other equipment, replacing stuff we had that was pretty new Even after everything was completed, the sales person/plumber made a comment that he accidentally gave us the price on an electric heater instead of gas That he would honor this lower price, but we were getting a "deal" One last sales jab Highly disappointed

The staff are very polite and efficient The charge structure, however, is VERY HIGH I could not justify the quote for the work I wanted done

My Technician, Trever, did an excellent jobHe was neat, clean, polite, and very informativeI would highly recommend this company because Trever did a very good job representing Benjamin Franklin Plumbing

This company is very professional and efficient Not the cheapest, but very good, reliable work

Brad Thompson purchased above PRE-PAID reservation online.As per the terms of pre paid on line reservation posted on the web site, this reservation is non refundable(MrBrad should have known this when he made the reservation).Attached correspondance between us and Customer Care (days
Inn) is self explainatory.All records show that MrBrad did not call the front desk but made this reservation online which stated clear cancellatin policy.In view of all of the above facts, I regret that MrBrad's claim is not correct and dose not qualify for refund.Thank youNareshGM - Days Inn La Crosse

The quick and professional response to my request was beyond expectationsThe care and performance was outstandingI would recommend Benjamin Franklin to anyone without question

I was very pleased with the team who worked at my home They were pleasant and very thorough My son and nephew both commented on the high quality of the work It was a big job, and they were persistent about completing it

Was very pleased with the visit from Jared todayHe flushed out my tankless water heater, checked all the plumbing in my house, and replaced an aging kitchen faucet with a new oneHave been doing business with Benjamin Franklin for over years now, and have never been disappointed

Over all the work was done right the first time and was quality workmanshipI would recommendThe only thing I thought was odd was he tried to sell me a member ship to something I did not quite understand which would make the total bill more than what it was to fix the problemThis did not make sense to spend more than I needed to
