Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I wish to thank Mr. S[redacted] from Shorkey Auto Group for helping to successfully and equitably resolve the issue. It has restored my trust in his company and will be glad to renew our relationship as customers in the future.
Regards,
[redacted]

Thank you so much for your feedback, we sent it over to our sales manager Mike and this was his response. I did not have the first initial contact with [redacted], the first time she came into the dealership. [redacted] was upset because she received a letter addressed to her with a dollar...

amount to purchase her vehicle or a amount to trade it in (around $18,000). On the bottom of the letter, it does clearly state somewhere we would have to look over the vehicle to ensure the vehicle is worth that amount. The amount she received the first time she came into the dealership was $10,000. After [redacted] contacted several places to review our dealership negatively, I made contact with her and had her come back in to try and help.  The second time she came back, we gave her another $2,000 to help put a deal together. We could not garnish an approval due to the significant negative equity she is carrying over from her Equinox and credit history. The next day or the day after, I made contact with [redacted] again and told her we needed a co-signer.  [redacted] did get a co-signer (also with subprime credit) and we did garnished an approval. [redacted] is upset because she is losing a rebate because of an incentivized program. I spoke with Chrysler Capital (the only bank who would approve her) and explained the situation. The only way for her to keep the approval through Chrysler Capital is using the incentivized rate. I have told [redacted] this several times - she also has gone to [redacted] and they have also told her the exact same thing. She is also getting the car under the invoice amount. She also can not get a rebate she does not qualify for.  The third time she came back into the dealership we gave her even more money on her trade to try and help her out with the money down situation (which she did not have). We have exhausted all possible routes in trying to help her get into a vehicle at a lower interest rate it is not possible without significant money down or a co-signer with very good credit, if not both

Thank you so much for the feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Per our service manager, the Radio is ordered for that vehicle but not in as of yet, checked with parts and it could be a few days yet. As soon as it comes in, a call will be placed out to...

schedule the appointment.

Per service manager: We worked on the transmission and finished the job the customer did take the car and then the clutch went out on the vehicle so if we would of seen the clutch was bad she would of had to pay for the parts anyway so the when the car went to another dealer in somerset I...

paid that dealers labor and the tow bill which was 1043.00

Per our GM  This was an unfortunate incident that none of us could overcome.  She is absolutely correct that the vehicle had issues soon after the purchase.  It was a pre owned car and we were unable to find a vehicle of equal or even similar value that was satisfactory to all parties...

to switch her to. The part that was needed was from Ford, and it was on eternal backorder, meaning ford will not give an ETA.  WE provided a free courtesy vehicle, and made payments for her in the absence of having her own vehicle.  We even switched cars at one point to give her something that she felt was more suitable and comparable for her to drive. WE tried our best to show how much we cared by making a payment, buying a headrest that was missing at the time of purchase, and giving her a loaner car despite the manufacturer denying that they would cover that cost.

[redacted], we are so sorry for the delayed response. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We are so sorry to hear that you had service trouble with the vehicle. We certainly understand it caused frustration to have a check engine light on along with a broken handle. We are very happy we...

were able to resolve this solution and get you back a refund. Thank you so much for giving us a chance to make things right.

The business contacted me over the weekend to apologize and to offer me a $50 gas gift card which I refused.[redacted]

Staci,Per the conversation that we had, we had come to an agreement that I would either give you a gas card or help with the purchase of a subwoofer from Best Buy like you had mentioned. Since a decision was not made, I will send you a $200.00 gift card, that way, you can...

choose to spend it how you please. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  Thanks again,Sean

[redacted], we are so happy we were able to speak with you yesterday and get everything taken care of by sending a driver over to with a check. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Per Mike, our service manager. The customer has now taken this to lemon law, which takes this out of our hands.

Regards,
[redacted]I have a vehicle thats supposed to be 4 wh drive but yet it doesnt make it up my driveway in snow. I have a vehicle loaded with rust inside and out. I have a vehicle that has a not working seatbelt where a child seats and they refuse to fix. This vehicle is a horrible purchase for the $ I had. Plus the fact I had 14,000 to put down on a better vehicle but NOT ONE PERSON POINTED ME IN THAT DIRECTION AT ALL !!!!! this is my 2nd horrible experience with Kia dealers and will be my last and my next step will be an attorney and the news and any and everyone I can persue pertaining to this matter.

I would like to know a detailed list of what the dealership did to resolve this on their end besides repainting the wheel flare you damaged in your shop. Every time I spoke with someone regarding resolution, I was swept under the rug. I mentioned to both Jim and Sean on the phone about acquiring a hard-top for the vehicle as the manufacturer quoted price for the dual top package and they said they would see what could be done, never heard from either again. Craig Stephan is still employed with the company and up to his tricks if you read other reviews on the business. The "substantial" amount of money offered was not even book value for a vehicle that has 7000 miles on it. I would be losing money on the deal after having to pay sales tax and plates on a new vehicle, not to mention the monies for the "free" maintenance package and gap coverage I would lose as well as the interest paid on that money. If you want to talk about a serious offer on the vehicle, I'm all ears. I've taken my own personal time, including time off of work, to try to bring this to a close. I will be visiting the dealership to review the contracts that were signed once a meeting is scheduled with Jim S[redacted]. I am not showing up at the dealership and sitting around for 2 hours waiting for someone to get to me. I've purchased two other vehicles since my Jeep and neither purchase has had one hiccup to it. If it's more convenient, you can reach me on my cell phone. Regards,
[redacted]

I've since gotten rid of the vehicle that Jim Shorkey had conned me into. I had to terminate a lease and accrued a charge of $1750 in doing so. I would like that reimbursed by the dealership as well as having the cost of the pre-paid service and vehicle wear and tear reimbursed as well.

The gift card promo is from Fiat, not the dealership. They would be responsible in providing this gift card.

Regards,
[redacted] Mr F[redacted] only even spoke about one repair as if since I purchased the truck in June of 2017 I only had one repair. I have had multiple expensive repairs. Mr F[redacted] never reached out to me. Never tried to resolved the issue. This dealership is literally acting as if I have no complaint and has responded to you as if they are the victim in this situation.  I will take my complaint to the next step.
