[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:In order to receive a refund Delta required me to take back any complaint made against their companySince they never authorized required services necesssry on my vehicle it would be an impossible for me to do such a thingI did not sign the cancellation form and informed them that the only way I would ever back down on my complaint is if they paid for all the required repairs per their contractMy complaint still stands strongly and I have started a legal action against them to make sure they understand the gravity of the situation and the breach of their contract Regards, [redacted]

Delta Auto Protect's claims personnel are trained to ask for service records on all claims regardless of the failure as per our protocolThis does not in any way delay the process of the claim as the customer stated ‘hold onto the claim for this reason’We also give ‘courtsy’ calls to our customers to inform them as well as answer any questions they might have through the claims processWe feel it is always best to give direct communication with our customers Delta authorized this claim prior to receiving this complaint as well as receiving the service records from the customerThere is also a discrepancy on what the customer said he paidPaid to date is $not $At this point in time the customer was notified and understands Delta Auto Protect's protocols for the future Thank you, Delta Auto Protect

Feb24, 2018Dear Sir/Madam,On January 11, 2018, the Delta claims department dispatched [redacted] Inspection to evaluate the condition and component failuresOn January 12, the Road Test and vehicle evaluation was completedDelta received the completed report with color Photos via the Web on Jnauary15, The Delta claims department had made several attempts to discuss the repair Authorization and services to be performedPer the service adviser, the vehicle was removed and driven away from the facility by the owner/operatorDelta has processed the Authorization for the replacement of the valve cover gaskets, and oil filter housing gasketsThe consumer has the obligation for the replacement of the coolant reservoir tank, the coolant reservoir cap and the windshield washer pumpThe [redacted] manufacturer also will perform the [redacted] recall for the replacement of the *** Heater AssemblyThe service adviser has reported that he has made an appointment with the owner for the service repairs.Respectfully,Ron P.SrClaims Examiner

Oct10, 2017On Oct2, 2017, the Delta claims department received a service claim request from [redacted] Kingwood, TX ***The service advisor, [redacted] reported the vehicle had been driven to the facility on Sept30, The service advisor reported the engine had low compression in cylinders #and #and other possible internal engine damageThe service advisor requested a rebuild or replacement of the engineAs in the Delta written agreement., the Delta claims agent requested all available service and maintenance records to be emailed to the department for review [redacted] reported that [redacted] had performed oil changes and other services to the vehicleOn Oct3, 2017, Delta assigned an Inspector to perform an onsite evaluation of the vehicleDelta received service invoices for review from the repair facility and from the consumerDelta also purchased a [redacted] service report for the vehicle.On Oct4, a Senior Claims examiner called and discussed the departmental review of the recordsThe [redacted] reported contained no Verifiable oil change maintenance services from the first ownershipFrom January 11, until July 15, 120,miles there were no recorded services for any oil changesThe first recorded oil change service was noted as 08/03/128,miles at [redacted] - Conroe, TXThe next oil change record was with 134,miles at [redacted] Humble, TXThe [redacted] dealership invoices do specifically note the use of *** XO 5W*** MOTOR OILThe [redacted] owner's manual does specifically note the requirement to use only 5Wmotor oil which meets or exceeds the [redacted] Specification [redacted] and the API certification mark.The [redacted] review noted three oil changes services performed at [redacted] ***These services were performed on 4/6/146,miles, Invoice # [redacted] 9/7/155,miles and Invoice # [redacted] 3/20/165,milesThe invoices noted the exact use of [redacted] motor oil 5WSynthetic BlendThe oil change reminder sticker also confirmed the exact use of [redacted] 5WThe [redacted] 5Wmotor oil does not meet the [redacted] Engineering requirements for [redacted] The Delta written agreement contains an absolute requirement to use only motor oils, fluids or other lubricants that meet or exceed the Manufacturer's specification as contained in the Owner's Manual

I have found Delta Auto Protect very reasonable and understanding when working with themRecently I had a part on my MB GLgo bad and as luck would have it the item was not coveredWhen I asked for some consideration on the matter they graciously helped offset 30% of the invoiceHow many firms in business today will work with a customer to this extent? Not many ! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyoneThey get an "A" in my book ! M.SFlorida
