Mike Kdid the SpacePak installation at my condo I highly recommend him for future jobsHe was very knowledgeable, communicative, & friendly, and he thoughtfully considered all questions I hadMike was so invested in having the installation go flawlessly that even after AVH had completed their job, he spoke with the contractors I hired for the post-AVH ceiling work to ensure the job was done right in its entirety
American Vintage is always prompt and courteous More importantly I find them technically superior to many others Their staff is knowledgeable and informative We have had Jacek and Andrew out to do our repairs, and they were great
We needed a sump pump replaced Brian of American Vintage told me why it needed replacing, how long the next visit would take and scheduled it with me himself, rather than having to go through the main office On the day of installation he arrived on time, said it would take approximately one hour and actually did the job in minutes I was very pleased with this service
Mike K came to do a job in the attic at my homeHe hard piped (at my requesta new exhaust fan for the upstairs bathroomThe job called for some innovation...it was not straight forwardThe conditions in the attic were, well, yuckyIt was a hot day in August in a suburb of Chicago, 80+ degrees and stuffy
He arrived with a smile on his face, and friendly handshake...on timeand proceeded to get right to the job
I was told hours or more, he was done in He not only cleaned, he cleaned well! He brought his vacuum in, and took his timeHe has to enter through a small one man opening through a closet ceiling
American Vintage home is definitely not the least expensive, but I know that they can be counted on to do an excellent jobSince I will not go up in the yucky attic to see the work, I trust that the job was done well according to what Mike described to meI Highly Recommend American Vintage Home if you want the job done right, and if you need workmen that can figure out what to do so that what you want done works well

American Vintage installed my air conditioning system and they maintain it for meI have had excellent service except for after installation I noted squirrels were climbing up the pipe and getting into my atticI asked AHV to install a baffle to prevent this but they declined and I had to hire a handyman to fashion something to keep the squirrels out of my atticI think that should have been part of the initial installation
Dominic *serviced our A/C unit, and, installed a new thermostat at my husbands request because he knew how much I disliked the one installed by previous owners When my husband mentioned that to Dom, he said that he had one that he could put in, quoted the charge, and proceeded to install -- I was thrilled! He did a thorough job of inspection, cleaned the unit, and left everything in orderA very pleasant young man, and, most accommodating Kudos to American Vintage Home, a company we have been dealing with for more than years and are always more than satisfied
