We needed a sump pump replaced Brian of American Vintage told me why it needed replacing, how long the next visit would take and scheduled it with me himself, rather than having to go through the main office On the day of installation he arrived on time, said it would take approximately one hour and actually did the job in minutes I was very pleased with this service
Dom did a fall inspection of our furnace and was very helpful with our questionsWe've had the same good experiences with Bob in the past as well for previous fall and spring inspections on our Home Service PlanAmerican Vintage also did a great job installing a new furnace for us last winterThey've been consistent with us across the board for the last three years - good work and good people
Mike our technician did a great job After an initial miscommunication with the office regarding confirmation of our install date, he went the extra mile to make sure everything was working properly We have received some inconsistent service from this company, but Mike was professional and thorough and we were very happy with the end result We will ask for him for any future service needs
Walter came by right on schedule to perform the annual inspection of our air conditioning unit, a *** (which was installed some years ago by American Vintage)He carried out the work thoroughly and efficientlyHe answered my questions about the unit, changed the filter, and checked our secondary room cooling unitBeyond that, he even answered my questions about our *** boiler and set up an appointment for an estimate on a new furnace, should our old one need to be replaced or if it would be cost effective to get a new model this year or next

I used this company on the advice of my realtor from *** It was an outstanding experience Ronnie was my technician He arrived promptly both times - the second time he had to come back and put in a part the company had to order Making the appointment was easy and the person on the phone was friendly and courteous Ronnie was friendly, professional and appropriate When the air conditioning is checked in the spring, I hope that he is the technician that can come back I highly recommend American Vintage Home I wish I had known about them when I first moved into my home
I recently had Dominick H., from American Vintage Home, come to my house to do P M on my A/C system He was very professional and knowledgeable during this visit and completed his preventive maintenance in a timely manner American Vintage Home should be proud to have him as a member of the team

We have been using American Vintage Home for over yearsSince they started their membership program, service has declinedWhile we have no issue with the individual who came out to check/service our heating, we were very displeased to discover that bleeding the radiators, which has been done every year for as long as we've used AVH, is no longer included in the annual serviceNot only is it not included, but we were told it would be over $to have it done and it would need to be done at a follow up appointmentImmediately after the service person (who I repeat, we had no issue with) left, I called AVH to let them know of my dissatisfactionThey said they would have someone call me back, which never happenedInstead, a day or so later, I got a message from AVHI was happy to see that they had called until I listened to the message and heard it was someone calling with an offer for sewer roddingWhile the sewer rodding was free, I'm assuming it's a freebie to sell other businessThis is not the first time I've had an issue getting a call back from AVHPrevious times, I've called with questions about options recommended by the technician and not gotten a call backThis is on top of other service issues like repeatedly having to reschedule appointments because something has come up at their endI also feel like there is very little consistency from year to year in their servicingThere is always something different recommended and then someone comes the following year and recommends something totally different againI honestly think AVH has gotten too big and is more focused on their sales efforts than on servicing their existing customersThis is one longstanding customer who is ready to move on
