Dear Revdex.com, DICK’S Sporting Goods would like to extend its sincerest apology for any inconvenience that Ms*** may have experienced with her online order. It is important to note that we message order updates frequently for our online customers: • The first email sent to the
customer acknowledges that their order was successfully submittedAdditionally, this message advises, “You will soon receive additional emails regarding the status of your order.” At this time, the total order amount is authorized and held by the financial institutionThis is done to confirm the card is validPre authorization charges are held in accordance with the terms of a customer’s bank or financial institution. • The second email sent to the customer advises, “If you paid for your order with a credit card, you will not be charged for an item until it has shippedIf you paid with a debit card or a check card, the money will be deducted when you place the order.” For the purpose of clarification, Ms***’s order was sent in three separate packages, at no additional cost to herThis is the reasoning for the three separate charges on the customer’s accountHowever, the three separate charges totaled correctly and therefore, Ms*** was not over charged by DICK’S Sporting Goods. Furthermore, we cannot remove authorization charges on processed orders and therefore Ms*** must discuss that matter with her financial institution. We apologize for the continued trouble MsXXXXX has experienced with her Epic Elliptical.Dick's Sporting Goods has been working directly with MsXXXXX to resolve this issue. It has been agreed to swap out the AEpic Elliptical for a SOLE Ethat is currently on hold at our store for

I have a family member who purchased of the ProForm Hybrid Trainer at and she received out of the 6 she ordered, and was told her machine would be delivered the next daySo I am not understanding why one customer will receive all of hers and I can't receive my one! I feel if they are going to honor the price for one customer they should honor it for all the customers who purchased it!! Also, it was their mistake so why is that my fault??

I still feel the spirit of the advertising on Dicks Sporting Goods website was marketing and very bad customer service Regardless if their technology is unable to provide quality service The agreement on their website was if I paid for rush shipping, found an item in stock and ordered before a set date, the item was free There was no client facing print indicating that if Dicks Sporting goods was "too busy" to pack your item in time, they can just cancel the order the day before Christmas, and be exempt from their advertising posted on their website.In my case they also did send me an email confirming the item was IN STOCK and being made ready to ship.In my business this would be the same as me telling as client that we could assist them in hours or the service is free However I then call them at the hour and say, sorry we have to cancel your service because we are too busy And then expect to not provide my advertised agreement If only life worked like that.I understand that they likely had fine print posted somewhere, but I Want this issue posted on Revdex.com for everyone to see that they routinely mistreat customers and use marketing tricks

I request that you honor the price and transaction as you would a retail locationIf a retail store had a similar incident, it would not simply tell the customer "sorry, even though it is our mistake, you're out of luck." I've been waiting cor this to be resolved as patiently as I can

4/15/2015Revdex.com Complaint # ***Dear Revdex.com,We are very sorry to hear of MrXXXX's experience with his *** Mountain Bike. Since the bike was purchased in and the warranty expired Dick's Sporting Goods took the below action to assist the customer.On April 15, 2015, our Corporate Customer
Service Representative spoke directly to MrXXXX and offered to send a Dick's Sporting Good's Gift Card to MrXXXX that would cover the initial cost of the bike and warranty purchased for the bike. MrXXXX accepted this offer and expressed that it resolved his issue. We have considered this case closed and apologize for the poor experience.Sincerely,Dick's Sporting Goods

There was no indication when I placed my order that the order was out of stock! In fact, that same day, I received an email stating that they received my order and that my order was being processedIt was days later when I received an email stating that the item was out of stock
