We are truly sorry to hear of MrXX's experience with receiving a credit back to a gift card used to place an order online. Our corporate team reached out to MrXX by email to inform him that the credit of $was placed back on the original gift card (used for Order ***) on

I did speak with a representative on 12/18/to resolve the issue after spending several hours total on the phone and multiple calls, the representative placed my order over the phone stating this was to ensure the order went through and that all of my items were in stock and would arrive at my home by 12/22/I just recieved a notification today 12/19/that one of the items will not be shipped with the others, so the time I spent be insured that my items were instock and would arrive by 12/22/was wastedI still am waiting for the previous transactions that were rejected by DIcks to be released back to my cardI currently have over being held by DicksI spoke with the credit company and they said they are awaiting the release they welcomed a DIcks representive to call them to resolveI discussed this with a Dicks supervisor and they were unwilling to call and said it can take up to a weekSO my money is being held, yet I have recieved no product or services for this money and it was DIcks system that rejected the ordersI am unsatisfied with the resolution

Dear Revdex.com,We apologize that MrXXXX was having a difficult time finding the SKLZ Pro X Triple Tee advertised in our Baseball/Softball catalog. We realize this makes for an inconvenient and frustrating customer experience.On 3/4/a Dick's Sporting Goods Customer Service Representative spoke
directy with MrXXXX detailing our action to resolve his complaint. We have located the SKLZ Pro X Triple Tee in one of our stores that will ship it directly to MrXXXX's local store for purchase. It should take approximately one week to arrive at MrxXXX's local store. MrXXXX was concerned that he would not be able to use an expired coupon towards this purchase however, we have agreed to honor it due to the product not being available to purchase when the coupon was valid. We also assisted with adding Bonus points to his ScoreCard account for this purchase. We thank MrXXXX fo his continued patience while we worked toward an agreed upon resolution.Sincerely, Dick's Sporting Goods

If Dick's were a reputable company, they would honor any accepted orders, even if a mistake was made ON THEIR PART. Like I said originally, even if they sold the jacket at the "incorrect price" as offered, they would still cover their cost. Believe me, this will sour my opinion of Dick's - Modell's is also available right close by. Very disappointed in their feelings of incident - certainly not very customer pleasing. I guess they just don't care. Might soon be hearing of their demise

My issue with this is that while the item might be available now, it was not on the day that it was offered at a discount with a free stand as well(The stand was available though.) On the day after the discount expired, the item came back onlineThe business's protocol for out of stock inventory is to take product pages offlineWhile I understand this, it is not a good solution; it confuses customers since Google results are not updated (nor are internal page searches), and drives traffic away from their site since it looks like they don't carry the productIt also appreared to me that they just didn't want to sell the product on Cyber MondayThis is why I purchased the product (at about their sale price, mind you) elsewhere.In speaking with the business, I appreciate that they said this will be looked into, but I, the lone customer, has no idea if something will truly be doneAgain, I appreciate the gesture from the business here, but my confidence in them is definitely lowered.Additionally, the discussion about real-time data, inventory control, etc, was something that I tried to hone in on during the call after the gift card was offeredThis was not initially addressed by the busiiness, but I mentioned that I wanted to discuss the true issue.Lastly, the response states that "The item is currently on our site for $with 20% off and a shipping promotion"This is incorrectThe business is currently offering $off purchases over $100, NOT 20% offAgain, this does not resonate well to the business's credibility

Dear Revdex.com,We are sorry for MrXXXX's disappointment. Below details additional action taken by Dick's Sporting Goods. On 12/17/2014, MrXXXX was contacted by a representative from our online team. MrXXXX used a $gift card to pay for a portion of the original order. When the order cancelled the funds were automatically refunded back to the original gift card. Since MrXXXX stated he disposed of the original gift card, we have issued a replacement gift card to MrXXXX with the $funds. We have expedited the shipment of this gift card and UPS tracking indicates it will be delivered by EOD 12/18/2014.Our online representative extended a $online certificate to MrXXXX in the event he would like to shop with us in the future. It was explained that due to the high demand for the Air Jordan Retro Basketball Shoe release and due to overwhelming demand and popularity of the shoe it sold out quicker than the volume coming in.
