The client was originally contacted on February 10th, and spoke to a Funding Analyst about his business needsThe client disclosed his personal situation and our clients expressed that "He would like funding in the amount of $25,to $45,within a month.” At this time, Direct Business Lending, to consult our Client, was upfront in advising our Client, as we are with all clients, that his “within a month” time frame was not guaranteedTo discuss further and offer transparency, Direct Business Lending took time to consult our Client on the items effecting his lending opportunities in his timeline requested of Personal CreditOur Client didn't want to hear that his credit needed repair because of the time it will take and is working with another Credit Repair companyHe has been denied by lenders, such as [redacted] ***, before coming to Direct Business Lending." Knowing this, Direct Business Lending took the time to discuss our process in full to protect against more declines and build his lender ready file accurately At this point, Direct Business Lending was also upfront about the lending timeline and not guaranteeing lending or timelines only entering into an agreement with our Client at his discretionOur client decides that the consulting services we offer did, in fact, meet his needs and signs our contract for consultingDiscussing our very happy client’s that have received Lending by way of consulting services from Direct Business Lending, our client enters into our consulting contractAfter consulting on Personal Credit and AFTER consulting on building up Business Credit, our happy client’s receive funding by way of Personal Loan for business use, as well as Business LoansBoth and all our offered from our FirmWe did not force our client to take either; rather, we consulted on the path of least resistance to achieve the client's objectivesOur objective is to due so while avoiding more declines that this client has already experienced due his credit and previous lendersOur Client signed to continue with Direct Business LendingDirect Business Lending offers multiple options for our clients, ensuring that the options presented are only selected by our client, and not by Direct Business LendingOn February 12th, our Senior Funding Advisor walked the client through each aspect of the Lender Preparation Package, including credit repair, and how each of our consulting services can benefit his company specificallyOur Financing Managers further outlined the details of the contract and worked with the client through the signing process on the same date for dual verificationThe client was disclosed verbally and in writing that they had a three-day right to rescind from the Lender Preparation Package and participated in our services fully To address the allegations that services have not been completed: Stated on the Service Agreement which was signed on February 12th, with the Client’s financed amount of $3,paid monthly, our company would provide the following services: Business Plan Website Creation Business and Personal Credit Entity Establishment Lender Matching Consulting Services During the Introductory Conversation, the client is given a step-by-step break down of the work that will be needed to be completed by both parties to make progress on the services outlined in the Service Agreement [redacted] voiced his concerns to the Account Manager on February 15th, threatened to sue and file a complaint with the Revdex.com if funding was not obtained within six weeks of his sign up date with our servicesDirect Business Lending, knowing we go out of our way not to guarantee timelines, especially with credit as a factor and this client knowing his credit was below average, took time again to explain our process The client continued work with Direct Business Lending As stated on point of the Service Agreement, which was also reviewed verbally on February 12th, the client was provided a three-day right to rescind and did not take advantage of this option after being explained our processThe client has the option to opt out of any of the services outline in the Contract, such as personal credit repairClient already had a website previously and opted out of our Website Creation Services A sales agent updated the file on February 16th after being contacted by the client about having to pay for a third party service in order to participate in credit repair servicesThe agent notated on file that he explained to the client the following: "Client was informed of needing to do business plan, business credit, and that credit monitoring/repair was just part of the process and that it would be includedHis week time frame is indicative of him signing up for business credit and getting us in statements." [redacted] enrolled into monitoring services on the same day, February 16th to proceed with Credit Repair with Direct Business LendingClient expressed his dissatisfaction for a different company that does Credit Repair, called [redacted] ***, and reflected on his bad experience during this conversation Based on the context used, the client was indicating that his previous experience has impacted his trust in our credit repair services On February 16th, the client apologized to our Website Designer for their behavior on the Introductory ConversationThe Website Department was able to obtain the necessary information on February 17th to schedule a Personal Credit Evaluation with one of our Personal Credit Experts During the appointment with our Personal Credit Experts, advice on how to enhance the client's credit were provided and declined by the clientA personal credit repair strategy was reviewed and created by our team An account manager sent the Business Plan assessment to the client again on February 26, and the client provided the requested information on March 1st On March 4th, the client escalates the file review with one of our Account Managers to our floor SupervisorAt this time, the Entity Formation had been completed and sent to the client, the Personal Credit Repair strategy was in progress, as was the Business Plan and Business Credit To do right by our client, Direct Business Lending pulled call with [Sales Agent][Sales Agent] is clear when he states the client is not qualified for lending at this time and to get there it will take work to get where he needsClient is fully aware of the financing of the $3,and what needs to be done The client continues to pressure his Account Manager on March 8th about getting Funding for his business within a restricted time frame The account manager documents that the client was assured that the lending process has many working parts and we cannot guarantee time frames in our industryThe client agrees to move forward on this date and a future appointment date is set up with the client, March 22nd With documented appointments and active agents working on the file simultaneously over the last days, the allegations for lack of services is being addressed with the above summary of the file progress provided by Direct Business Lending Our team explained to the client and confirmed his awareness of needing personal credit repair multiple timesPersonal Credit is an item within our Lender Preparation Package that continues to be necessary to position him for fundingFurthermore, the time frame of the credit repair is dependent on the credit bureaus, a third party, of which Direct Business Lending has no control over The client completes a file review with his Account Manager on March 22nd and specified that he would like to cancelAfter referencing the Service Agreement, point which explains the three day right to rescind, the client mentioned he would have an attorney review the Service AgreementThe account manager offered to schedule an appointment with a Supervisor to discuss a resolution before the line disconnectedA supervisor will continue to attempt to reach the client in order to come to a resolution

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because, again, my complaint on a complete lack of communication by the company after their initial "sales pitch" I was provided with extensions of people who didn't answer their lines or return my calls None of the promised work that was supposed to be done was done and to be honest, until I cancelled their automatic payments and submitted this complaint, I never heard from anyone They haven't done anything but, take my money and waste my time Sincerely, [redacted]

As stated more fully below, Direct Business Lending, LLC ("DBL") respectfully denies the allegations of [redacted] * [redacted] ("Mr [redacted] " and/or "Customer") and respectfully refused to refund him any fees:On or about June 24, 2016, Mr [redacted] electronically signed the Funding Assessment Agreement with DBL a DBL promised to provide Mr [redacted] its proprietary Funding Assessment to evaluate his eligibility for business financing b As consideration, with the the exception of Small Business Administration Loans, Mr [redacted] agreed to pay DBL a sucess fee of 4.9% to 11.9% on all financing he received through the work of DBL b Mr [redacted] and DBL agreed the business financing means any type, kind or, amount of financing that Mr [redacted] received through the work of DBL c DBL declared that it did not guarantee Mr [redacted] any type, kind, or amount of business financing, including, but not limited to the interest rate, time frame, and/or source of financing c When Mr [redacted] signed the Funding Assessment Agreement, he certified that he understood these terms and conditionOn or about July 6, 2016, after DBL delivered the Funding Assessment and analysis, Mr [redacted] decided to purchase to Lender Preparation Package to improve his eligibility for business financing He electronically signed the Lender Preparation Package Agreement and agreed to the following:a Mr [redacted] promised to pay DBL in the amount of $down, and $per month, over the next months, for a total amount of $3,500.00, costs and fees associated with collection, and interest at the rate of 18.99% per annum.b As consideration, DBL promised to provide Mr [redacted] the following proprietary business consulting products to improve his eligibility for business financing: Business Credit Enhancement, Personal Credit Enhancement, Business Entity Formation, Business Website, Bankable Business Plan, and Lender Matching.c DBL reaffirmed that it did not guarantee any type, kind, or amount of financing, including, but not limited to interest rate, time, frame, and/or source of financing.d Mr [redacted] reaffrimed that he promised to pay the above identified success fees.e Mr [redacted] certified that he understand that these terms and conditions when he electronically signed the contract To date, DBL has delivered every product to Mr [redacted] , including Lender Matching On or about July 27, 2016, at Mr [redacted] 's bequest, DBL applied for Lender Matching for Mr [redacted] through Lending Tree Lending Tree issued an adverse action notice:Adverse We have sent a communication to the client by email to further address their concerns To address the issue of the business plan and web surveys, these were originally sent to the client in September, We had not received them back so our department supervisor asked for those to be submitted in December On occasion, our clients do wait for a period of 1-months to return their surveys as their business may be changed slightly from the original plans.We are also offering to transfer the account from a regular account executive, to our retention department where extra care is taken for the client.As always, if further information is needed, we will provide it asap

TOur client services team leader talked to our client on Friday, February 5, The client has agreed to continueworking with us due to the fact that he is still in need of a business loan The team leader will be reviewing the file on a frequent basis to ensure that the file is moving forward as quickly as possible

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, Direct Business Lending strives to provide an outstandingexperience to each and every client and if we miss that goal initially, we strive to rectify the consumer's experience immediatelyWe do not operate with high pressure sales tactics and certainly do have contracts supporting all of our practicesThose will be supplied in order to support our statement if necessary.This Client signed a Sales Contract on April 30, that allows us to begin working on their behalfTo address the specific issues noted, our records indicate that we received the initial business plan surveyfrom Ms [redacted] on June 23, A business plan was prepared and sent to Ms [redacted] on July 7, by email Within our Client Services departments, there are sub-departments which each provide specialized servicesand consultations We have a personal credit area, a business credit area, a web designer, a businessplan writer, and an account executiveFrequently, our account executive assigned to a client, willtalk with clients on a personal level giving them additional suggestions for funding, while theirfile is being prepared for a lender We do refer people to Crowd Funding, suggest theycheck with their State to seeif there is abandoned property that may be in their name This is not by any means to be confusedwith services being charged for in the Lender Prep Package rather than just personal suggestions.Client was submitted to lending but did not qualify for the total amount requested by our client We are continuingto match our client with other lenders, but need information from the client updated to do so.On November 17, 2015, a supervisor from Client Services did attempt to reach Ms [redacted] She was not availableand a voice mail message was left On November 19, 2015, an email was sent to the client requestinga time convenient to call to discuss issues.Direct Business Lending would like to continue to provide services contracted for and will continueto try to reach out to client for additional services as provided in the Lender Prep Package purchased.As always, if additional questions need to be answered, please feel free to contact us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I told them I couldn't pay until I got funding and they said okay and still was working on the file but I never got any closer to getting funded and it has ruined my credit report because they kept having me send dispute letters to the bureaus So now I am left with no funding, and I have horrible credit because they never got me anywhere close to getting funding I had better credit when we started the process and it just went in the dirt after that So no I don't want anymore business from them because I am not paying for a service that is going to make my credit even worse and still not get any funding It shouldn't have taken that long to get the funding in the first place So no I will not waste any more of my money when I will get nothing in return So just stop the collection process because you are not going to get blood out of a turnip and you are not going to get any more money out of me because we have none, we are broke and there is no way to resolve whatever balance you think I owe you Sincerely, [redacted]

We contacted client to let her know as a gesture of good will we would cancel her file for the amount she proposedWe emailed MsJ [redacted] a settlement agreement When the agreement is returned and the early cancellation fee paid her account will be cancelled

Direct Business Lending appreciates the opportunity to respond to our client Our records indicate that August 13, 2015, business partner [redacted] called and had questions about the contract wanting to know the balance due and what the monthly payment was We emailed a copy of the sales contract to [redacted] * On August 18, 2015, we received a call advising that they want to cancel the contract due to the fact that they are closing their business An appointment was set for a call back On August 21, 2015, a supervisor called the phone number provided to discuss the cancellation request Client was not available but we did speak to business partner [redacted] * Advised that due to the fact that the file was opened by ***, that we would need to speak with him directly about the cancellation request On August 21, 2015, there is a note in the system that states partner may be moving back to different country (name of country was provided but not released here on this response) and feels he cannot move forward with the business On August 25, an email was received requesting cancellation of contract due to personal reasons and they were closing down the business Our calls are recorded for quality and training and DBL has not yet found the call that client refers to as "dropping the ball on this one".On January 19, 2015, credit letters were emailed directly to client for spouse to sign, print and mail to the credit bureaus to assist in resolving inconsistencies and red flags that were appearing on the credit report The business plan for the company was completed in September, 2014, and a reminder email notification was sent to the client on January 14, Copy of business plan can be resent to client as there are no client notes that it was not received When we design and provide a website for the client, a wewbsite questionnaire is sent to client so we can begin working and designing the website Our records show that we sent this questionnaire to client on April 13, 2015, and again on May 8, As of this date, we have not received the questionnaire back from the client so we can begin the design process Direct Business Lending designs the website based on client's preferences As we did not have the information needed, the website had not been started Direct Business Lending also offers other services in conjunction with the website creation.Regarding the business filing, of the services offered which is included in the Lender Prep Package is the preparation of the Articles of Incorporation for the formation of an LLC The contract does not include any filing fees for outside agencies as each state has a different filing fee requirement Credit Monitoring is requested but not required so that the credit reports can be reviewed on a monthly basis to monitor progress and so that clients can be matched to a lender when the file is ready for submission.DBL would like to continue to provide the services that were contracted for in the event that another business opportunity approaches the client As always if there are additional questions, please feel free to contact us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because I do not believe that Direct Business Lending is a legitimate lender When calling their customer service number, and choosing the prompt for current clients, all one gets is an automated message systemBut, of course when you are a new client, they have live persons more than happy to assist you I have never spoken with the same person twice, even when I was given the extension of that person to "call with any questions or concerns." This business is a high pressure sales company more than willing to make any promises they can to get a struggling small business owner's financial information in order to promise them a small business loan Who charges someone needing a loan? They did indeed send credit inquiry action letters to my email the day they responded to my complaint with your office These were supposed to be sent weeks ago Had they lived up to the promises they made in their initial phone consultation with me, the loan would have already been finalized Instead, they are dragging out the process so they can collect money every month from me They should be ashamed of themselves Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am not claiming that they have not done any work, I am claiming that they have failed to complete what is promised within a reasonable timeProof in their own form that was submittedTo confirm their lies and statements, on their submitted form it states that the Entity was created my "Kyle G."This is is just like everything else that they have statedAs I originally stated I created my own entity via legal zoom and have all the documents and receipts to prove itThey have repeatedly lied and continue to collect on a contract that they are clearly in breach ofTheir promise was to have me lending within days and only having to make monthly payment before fundingWe are now months in and they have failed to complete what was promisedThis is why I am asking for concellation and a FULL refundThe last email I received from Jon F [redacted] on July 29th stated "Of course we shall Client Services shall expedite fulfillment Thank you." And yet here we are October 24th and they have not done what they have always said they will doThey are criminals and in breach of contractI will gladly pay the $for arbitration with my lawyer involved cause they have submitted all the documents neccessary to prove that they have not completed what they stated would be completed with me payingThey will not be able to prove that I have missed ONE SINGLE payment or not held up my end of the contractThey need to close thise issue and issue a FULL refund and close this issue immedieltySincerely, [redacted]
