We are filing this answer in response to the client. We are not suggesting that this file be transferred to another department.  We just want to assign this file to an account manager that is willing to follow this file very closelyand be responsible for the work completed on the file.  Direct Business Lending does have the client's best interest at heart.  Our goal is thesame as the clients.  To get them funded. The client is outside of the 3 day right to rescind.  We would not refund the downpayment as we have completed some work on the client's file.  Direct Business Lending wouldstill appreciate the opportunity to complete the client's work file.  We have also sentan offer to reduce the client's monthly payments from $[redacted] to $[redacted] per month.  Weare just waiting for a response back from the client regarding our offer and strategy. If you have any other questions, please contact us.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because I do not believe that Direct Business Lending is a legitimate lender.  When calling their customer service number, and choosing the prompt for current clients, all one gets is an automated message system. But, of course when you are a new client, they have live persons more than happy to assist you.  I have never spoken with the same person twice, even when I was given the extension of that person to "call with any questions or concerns."  This business is a high pressure sales company more than willing to make any promises they can to get a struggling small business owner's financial information in order to promise them a small business loan.  Who charges someone needing a loan?  They did indeed send credit inquiry action letters to my email the day they responded to my complaint with your office.  These were supposed to be sent weeks ago.  Had they lived up to the promises they made in their initial phone consultation with me, the loan would have already been finalized.  Instead, they are dragging out the process so they can collect money every month from me.  They should be ashamed of themselves.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] signed our service agreement authorizing payments from their checking account and credit card on February 11, 2015.   Our average time for funding clients is 4-7 weeks but that is not guaranteed, as stated in the service agreement.  We do guarantee...

however, to work with our clients as long as it takes to achieve funding.  On February 11th we also outlined the next steps and requested information, verbally and via email, that we would need to complete the business plan, website and that we needed Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] to verify their business entity since they stated they had already filed for it.  We also completed a round of dispute letters and let Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] know that we would need an updated credit report to continue.  We requested this information several times over the next few months but Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] refused to supply them until June 2nd.   Upon  receiving the information we did complete another round of dispute letters and we discussed  that the cosigner Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] provided also had red flags on their credit report which would prevent a lender from funding the cosigner.  Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] even stated their cosigner’s credit scores were lower than theyexpected.   We still attempted to move Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted]’s file forward and continued work on their business plan-which was sent to them as a gesture of good will even after this complaint was filed.   Additionally, we also changed account managers at Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted]’s request, but Mrs. W[redacted] only wanted to interact with one specific person-although we explained that we work as a team capacity and from time to time a specialist in one area would need to contact them and such was the case to complete Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted]’s DUNS and I-Update for establishment of  business credit.  Lastly, ever since signing up with Direct Business Lending we asked Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] to verify their business entity as an LLC or to file the Articles of Organization that we drafted with their Secretary of State office so they can fulfill lender requirements.   On June 6th Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted]sent verification they are listed as a sole proprietorship, that filing an LLC was a waste of time and that they wanted to cancel.   Upon discussing cancellation we reviewedthat since the Articles of Organization were written, dispute letters were completed, the business plan was soon to be finished, that the DUNS was completed, and that the agreement they signed  explained the early cancellation fee, about an inch above their signature, that there would indeed be a fee to cancel the agreement. We informed Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] that as a courtesy we would keep the agreement to the minimum $[redacted] and we sent Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] the appropriate paperwork to cancel the file.  Mr. and Mrs. W[redacted] refused to cancel per the agreement and instead filed their complaint.

I was never offered an after hour appointment. I did not think that was a problem. Their lack of communication and misleading and not completing things were. They gave a time frame that was not met and the one place that they did set me up with was not one that could even work with me. As for the business plan It never was fixed and no one could help. I did get a voicemail from Geri after I contacted you and she said there was mistakes and they were fixing them. I did tell her at that point I had used my own. It took past 45 days to get that. I started this with them in May. It has been 7 months. They did help my credit and I feel like I paid for that. I gave them almost 400 on may and then 165 a month until I came to terms that I was scammed. This may be a legit buisness but I feel like they offered a lot and gave a little. I have not trust or confidence in this place. I am not asking for money back I just ok want ties cut with them.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, Direct Business Lending strives to provide an outstanding experience to each and every client and if we miss that goal initially, we strive to rectify the consumer's experience immediately. The clients originally signed a contract for services in...

February, 2015.  Copy is attached for your review.  Our goal is get our clients funded within 6-8 weeks.  Frequently, some of our clients have outstanding issues that need to be resolved before being submitting to our lending department.  Each file is reviewed on an individual basis.  If our clients have red flag issues that may prevent them from being funded, we send dispute letters to the client to sign and send to the credit bureaus to correct items not being reported correctly. That is usually a 45 day process. The client did receive the final revised business plan in August, 2015.  Direct Business Lending did continue to work on the file while revisions were being completed. We have been in contact with the clients.  We have escalated additional letters which were sent directly to the clients the same day we spoke.  We are using every avenue possible to get the client file ready for our lending department.  A department supervisor has been in contact with the clients.  An appointment was set for follow up on November 11,2015.  We were unable to reach the client at that time but did leave a message and asked for a call back asap.Direct Business Lending is committed to the sucess of our client and would like to continue working to complete the steps necessary to get the client lender matched. As always, if there are any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are waiving all cancellation fees.

We have sent a communication to the client by email to further address their concerns.  To address the issue of the business plan and web surveys, these were originally sent to the client in September, 2015.  We had not received them back so our department supervisor asked for those to be submitted in December.  On occasion, our clients do wait for a period of 1-3 months to return their surveys as their business may be changed slightly from the original plans. We are also offering to transfer the account from a regular account executive, to our retention department where extra care is taken for the client. As always, if further  information is needed, we will provide it asap.

1.  DBL is not responsible for Mr. [redacted]'s presently disacknowledgment of the valid contract he has signed.  2.  The contract explicitly declares that we do not guarantee any type, kind, amount, and/or time frame for business financing.   Nowhere in his purported answer to our reply does Mr. [redacted] dispute this fact.  3.  Mr. [redacted] does not deny the indisputable fact that we have delivered over $2,900.00 in intellectual property for the less than $1,000.00 he has paid.4.  Mr. [redacted] has never substantiated his initial allegation that he has paid $3,500.00 to DBL, which his contract flatly contradicts.5.  For each of the foregoing reasons, DBL respectfully refuses to refund any funds to Mr. [redacted].  6.  Moreover, in light of Mr. [redacted]'s misleading responses, DBL rescinds its previous offer to rescind the $1,495.00 cancellation fee.  We simply do not provide products and services for free.  Instead, DBL intends to collect the remainder of the balance on Mr. [redacted]'s account.7.  Finally DBL respectfully requests to take this matter to arbitration.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Direct Business Lending is running a scam! They are a bunch of liars and criminals, who are making up excuses to the Revdex.com as they go along. They do not have a lending department. I do not know how they are still in existence,  considering their numerous formal complaints. I'm in the process of retaining a lawyer and arranging a class action lawsuit to shut these criminals down! With the Revdex.com's assistance and cooperation I'd like to contact the dozens of complainants that were victimized by these criminals. They really need to be stopped. In April 2015 they could no longer explain why I wasn't receiving lending after 18 months, so they simply stopped answering my calls and emails. as they apparently do to everyone. Instead of a written response I began getting an automated email response which stated, "We received your email. You'll receive a response within 24 hours. " In the meantime, please chat with us on our website". No one return my messages or emails and they even stopped responding to my chat requests online, so of course I stopped their payments. Who wouldn't?!!! They told me numerous times that I'm ready for lending and my file will be submitted to their lending department. I was told I'd hear something in a week on several occasions. They never told me I didn't qualify for lending. In fact, they constantly told me that I did, and everything looks great!  They just keep lying and making things up as they go. Meanwhile they're still in operation and ripping people off by the thousands. I filed a formal complaint online to the Utah Attorney General's Office. They haven't yet responded. I will file a complaint with the FBI and the US Attorney General! DBL has messed with the wrong one! I'm not some punk that's going to lay down and be bullied by these criminals!!!  Everyone associated with DBL should be arrested!!!! This is organized crime!!!!
Sincerely,
Omar W[redacted]
