I am rejecting this response because: I have revived one call since then and am not aware of such emails I seem to get calls before or during work, and the last times I have been connected I have been hung up on after they tell me they will still attempt to collect when I tell that I don't have time to talk because I am going into work. They clearly just also stated that I did most of the work, which I wouldn't have even minded if I got the loan I was promised after correcting my credit to where the initial guy said my credit needed to be, if they can not find that conversation it is most likely because they don't really record the conversations and lie about that as well, because if everything they said I had to do initially to get a loan was done I should have it, but I don't because they lied "scammed" me about certain things. I would rather have a loan and have my business started than going through all this hassle but as I was told I only needed 10-20more points to get a loan then I turn around and get 30+ more points on my credit just to be told later that it is not high enough I need more points; that is why this is a scam because the score I was told I needed before I signed the papers and the score they told me after I got to that point are two compleat lay different things. And I will not be satisfied till the collection efforts stop and DBL stops hurting my credit even more. I am currently in pursuit of backrupcy thank you DBL you have not helped and should be getting papers soon. For anyone reading this that does not already have great credit and over 3-4K to spend just to get your loan or business started my personal advice would be to look everything up and do it yourself.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted],  MY concern is the settlement itself.  I don't want to agree to anything without knowing what the settlement says.
Sincerely,

Our records do indicate that a business plan was sent to the client in July, 2015.  After further review of thebusiness plan, our business plan writer was asked to revise the business plan, and resend it to the client whenfinished.  One of our lending scenarios are collateral loans.  The client did not meet the criteria requiredby that specific lender.  We are continuing to work on other lending scenarios for the client.  Direct Business Lending is in the Mountain Standard Time zone, which is 2 hours behind Ohio time zone. We can accept call backs up to 6:30 p,m. Ohio time which is 4:30 Mountan time.  We are attempting to contact client to assure that we will continue to address her concerns, and work on her file to deliver the Lender Prep Package which includes lender matching.

We have reached out to the customer to resolve this matter and have not heard back from the customer.

Direct Business Lending, as an offer of good will, has emailed to the client, a $0.00 cancellation fee Mutual Settlement Agreement.  We feel that this meets the client request.  Once we have received the signed agreement back by fax or scanned email, the contract will be cancelled and the client will no longer be billed or contacted by Direct Business Lending.

I am rejecting this response because:  I told them I couldn't pay until I got funding and they said okay and still was working on the file but I never got any closer to getting funded and it has ruined my credit report because they kept having me send dispute letters to the bureaus.  So now I am left with no funding, and I have horrible credit because they never got me anywhere close to getting funding.  I had better credit when we started the process and it just went in the dirt after that.  So no I don't want anymore business from them because I am not paying for a service that is going to make my credit even worse and still not get any funding.  It shouldn't have taken that long to get the funding in the first place.  So no I will not waste any more of my money when I will get nothing in return.  So just stop the collection process because you are not going to get blood out of a turnip and you are not going to get any more money out of me because we have none, we are broke and there is no way to resolve whatever balance you think I owe you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Direct Business Lending strives to provide outstanding service to each and every client. If we miss that goal we strive to rectify the situation immediately. On April 9, 2015 the client signed our service agreement. If the account has a...

receivables issue, the account is frozen until satisfactory arrangements can be made.  Phone calls are made to the client to let them know of theissue.  Work does resume on the file once arrangements are met. Shortly after signing up we started the process of completing the Lender Prep Package.  Part of the process is toprovide the client with letters to be sent to the credit bureaus to assist in clearing up any red flagsthat may be present before submitting to our lending deparment.  In response to the comment by the client regardingletters being referred to by the credit bureau as "fraud".  On occasion, the credit bureaus randomly select lettersreceived as part of an identity theft procedure.  The client just needs to call the credit bureaus to verify their identity.  We have advised client of this.We have also advised the client that there are many different people with level of expertise in certain areasthat work on her file behind the scenes.  That is the reason that she is contacted by different employees. In an attempt to resolve this complaint we reached out to the client and offered to move her file forward and to stay extended hours to accommodate the schedule, or to communicate by email if that is the preference.    Please note:1. Our company is not a lender.2. We provide services to help a client receivefunding when they are otherwise not qualified.3. Our time frames vary depending upon thecomplexity of the file.  Very often, files arevery complex and do take time to get readyfor funding.4. Our average file takes 30-45 days.

On 2/25/2015 Mr. [redacted] initialed and signed our Engagement Agreement and Conditional Preapproal (see attached) which sated we would ascertain up to $25,000 in funding and giving Direct Business Lending permission to apply for credit lines on his behalf.   Direct Business...

Lending also had multiple conversations with Mr. [redacted] regarding pulling credit. On  3/2/15 Mr. [redacted]  gave us Scoressense.com login information to check his credit and then on 3/3/15 he cancelled Scoresense, because we advised him his logins were not working.  On 3/11/2015 Mr. [redacted] gave us his log-in information with creditreport.com and they worked. Funding started on 3/12/15. Direct Business Lending contacted Mr. [redacted] and sent a bank list for possible funding sources.  Mr. [redacted] agreed to the sources and actually had to call a few banks because he forgot to provide Direct Business Lending his apartment number.  Direct Business Lending advised Mr. [redacted] to call the banks directly to verify address and his identity.  Respectfully, it is notreasonable for Mr. [redacted] to say he did not know we pulled credit, that we were seeking funding for him, or that the $10K line of credit Mr. [redacted] received from Capital One was “mysterious”.   Furthermore, On 3/13/2015 Direct Business Lending called Mr. [redacted] advising him of a funding source from Pentagon Federal Credit Union and that he needed to contact them directly for processing.  When we did not hear back from Mr. [redacted] we finally reached him on 3/31/2015. On that day Mr. [redacted] said he did not wantto go through with the [redacted]. We attempted to reach Mr. [redacted] regarding funding that was achieved.  On 4/20/2015 Mr [redacted] asked to cancel the account and request a hold on any other funding sources.  On that conversation Mr. [redacted] was told he is still responsible for the funding already achieved-the $10K from Capital One-and that he is responsible for the Success Fee. On 5/13/2015 a representative from Direct Business Lending’s Account Receivable department discussed the above latter and credit report with Mr. [redacted].  It was explained that since the work was agreed upon and funding was achieved that Mr. [redacted] would be responsible for the Success Fee on the $10K.   We also offered to help reactivate and/or liquidate the line of credit if Mr. [redacted] decided to do so.

Direct Business Lending appreciates the opportunity to respond to our client.  Our records indicate that August 13, 2015, business partner [redacted] called and had questions about the contract wanting to know the balance due and what the monthly payment was.  We emailed a copy of the sales contract to [redacted].  On August 18, 2015, we received a call advising that they want to cancel the contract due to the fact that they are closing their business.  An appointment was set for a call back.  On August 21, 2015, a supervisor called the phone number provided to discuss the cancellation request.  Client was not available but we did speak to business partner [redacted].  Advised that due to the fact that the file was opened by [redacted], that we would need to speak with him directly about the cancellation request.  On August 21, 2015, there is a note in the system that states partner may be moving back to different country (name of country was provided but not released here on this response)  and feels he cannot move forward with the business.  On August 25, 2015 an email was received requesting cancellation of contract due to personal reasons and they were closing down the business.  Our calls are recorded for quality and training and DBL has not yet found the call that client refers to as "dropping the ball on this one".On January 19, 2015, 18 credit letters were emailed directly to client for spouse to sign, print and mail to the credit bureaus to assist in resolving inconsistencies and red flags that were appearing on the credit report.  The business plan for the company was completed in September, 2014, and a reminder email notification was sent to the client on January 14, 2015.  Copy of business plan can be resent to client as there are no client notes that it was not received.  When we design and provide a website for the client, a wewbsite questionnaire is sent to client so we can begin working and designing the website.  Our records show that we  sent this questionnaire to client on April 13, 2015, and again on May 8, 2015.  As of this date, we have not received the questionnaire back from the client so we can begin the design process.  Direct Business Lending designs the website based on client's preferences.  As we did not have the information needed, the website had not been started.  Direct Business Lending also offers other services in conjunction with the website creation.Regarding the business filing, 1 of the services offered which is included in the Lender Prep Package is the preparation of the Articles of Incorporation for the formation of an LLC.  The contract does not include any filing fees for outside agencies as each state has a different filing fee requirement.  Credit Monitoring is requested but not required so that the credit reports can be reviewed on a monthly basis to monitor progress and so that clients can be matched to a lender when the file is ready for submission.DBL would like to continue to provide the services that were contracted for in the event that another business opportunity approaches the client.  As always if there are additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
