My son picked up the Yardage card at the local course I sponsor and ad looked really good, I will renew this next year if I'm still the only realtor on the front nine at the golf course

+1

We were contacted April 27, by M*** ***, to advertise in a local Golf Club (*** *** *** *** *** ***) ScorecardWe signed up for two connected spots on the cards with 56,rounds of golf played a yearThe spots were above holes ten through for a $price (Sounds Good)They constantly called me with different offersFor an additional $they offered me the second year bonus on both courses (Never Produced)We approved the artwork, and never heard from them againCalled twenty times no one returns your callsAll voice message (never returned)We never paid the additional $We cancel the Debit card that we paid the first $I went to the golf course on July 27, we're not on any of the Golf CardsThere still not answering my phone callsWould like a refund?

Last year, Direct Fairways contacted me about placing an ad with a local golf course and told me that I would be receiving years of ads for $A couple months ago, they called to confirm that nothing had changed regarding our arrangement, which I gladly confirmed, having paid the $the year before and now about to receive a second year of ads at the golf course, essentially for freeHowever, I subsequently received an invoice informing me that I was charged an additional $I have called Direct Fairways at least six times in the subsequent months, explaining that this was not the arrangement that I agreed to last year and I would like a refund of the $that I was charged this yearDirect Fairways acknowledged my refund and have promised more than once that it would be processed and that I would receive some confirmation of the refundTo date, I have received no refund

We paid $on March 15th for advertising at the Dayton Valley Golf Club & again we paid $on July 15th for the same advertisementI was told I would receive the proof of the advertisement and never did from James M***When we tried to call and request the proof we were hung up onThe Dayton Valley Gold Club has also not received our advertisement for the course guideRyan C*** called me today from this company wanting more money for advertisementI told him we never received the ad from the last two and all he could do was argueI spoke to Eugene the "Supervisor" and all he could tell me was speak to our customer service managerHe transferred me and guess what they were closedNeedless to say this situation is not resolved and I feel this company stole $from our small business for nothing

I purchased-paid in full-advertising space in the Spring Creek Golf Course GuideI made one purchase for $in March of and another purchase of $in June of Both Anthony and Michael assured me the guide would be published about days after my ad purchases However, the Gold Course Guide was never publishedI have made numerous attempts to contact them via email and phone to inquire as to when the guides will be publishedPublishing delays can happen, so I gave them the benefit of the doubtI am no longer willing to do thatSince they have not responded to my numerous inquiries, I am suspicious that the entire thing is a scam and I now want my $refunded to me immediately

I received a call from Direct Fairways on or around January 16, stating they would advertise my business on *** *** golf scorecards for $My husband and I did the math and agreed to advertise with the companyWe received another call on or around January 18th, stating that they would upgrade me to a larger marketing platform of which I'd be the only business advertised for years for an additional $I said no stating that I needed to go over my marketing budget with my husbandThe representative on the phone said how about we go ahead and lock you into this offer since it expires after today and that if I didn't want to proceed I can call back and cancelI was in a hurry for an appointment so I said okayThey immediately sent me an updated contract by email and charged my for the upgradeI called back within the next day or two, on or around January 20th, to cancel the upgrade and had to leave a voicemailToday is February 15th, and I never received a call backI have called back several times within this period of time, each time leaving a voicemail and still have not received a call back
I had also sent communications to their art department for the original contract on the scorecards stating that I did not want to upgradeThey were supposed to email a proof back to me regarding the art within 7-business daysTo date, it had been days and I have still not received any proofs
As a result of not receiving any callbacks or proof of my artwork, I emailed the reservations department stating: HelloI have tried calling several times to deny the upgrade for this ad and have had no return contactIt is interesting that anytime I called prior to making any payments I got call backs immediately but now that I am trying to get refunded for a service that I do not want, nobody will contact me backI am emailing in an attempt to resolve this matterFurthermore, since I am not getting the service one should expect from making a total of $purchase, I wish to cancel all contractsThe verbal agreement was that if I did not want to take up the offer I could call and cancelI appreciate your prompt assistance in contacting me regarding this matter
I finally received an email back 2/15/from them simply stating: Hi Melissa,
What is the reason for not wanting to move forward with the upgraded spot?
Thanks
I sent an email back stating why I did not want to upgrade and again requesting a cancellation of all contracts and requested a refund for the $they charged me for and am awaiting a reply
From the reviews I have read and the statement listed on the Revdex.com website, it seems that Direct Fairways has not eliminated this pattern of complaints as they apparently agreed with Revdex.com as stated: PATTERN OF COMPLAINT & ALERT
Revdex.com files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning contract and refund/exchange issuesComplainants allege that the business does not honor contracts by failing to provide services that have been paid for in a timely manner as promisedComplainants also allege difficulty in making contact with the business after payment for servicesThe business has cooperated with Revdex.com and answered or resolved all complaints on file, and has also signed an agreement to eliminate the pattern of complaints

I purchased an advertising package in the amount of $from Direct Fairways in July that was promised to be delivered "at the start of the golf season"It is now September and my service has not been delivered I've have contacted their customer service department multiple times and have learned that this advertising service has still not been delivered months laterI requested to cancel my order since it has not been processed or delivered yet, but was denied a refund

** Possible fraud**
I placed an ad with Direct Fairways for a full page ad for the years of and I paid $total for both years on 2/21/The following year they contacted me on 1/19/to renew the ad and without thinking or looking through my paper work I agreedAfter further digging I then found the original contract stating I had already paid for When I did contact Direct Fairways they stopped returning my calls and hung up on meI then disputed it through my bank ***They found the charged as valid which I do not know whyI have all the contracts and proofI need help getting this issue resolvedI paid twice and nobody seems to care

This company is relentless when it comes to trying to get my business to advertise in their directory guide! A total of calls to my business after I said no the first time (all different callers, same company asking about advertising in the same publication) At call number I told them to remove me and my number from their call list Call #just came in and I asked to be removed againThey said no problem I told them this was the 5th time I asked them to remove my number so there must be a problemthey were nasty and hung up on me

Direct Fairways solicited my business at the beginning of October pushing for money for ads on a local golf course scoresheetWas initially told the ads would be done in weeksI hesitated and told them via phone I will get back to themI called them back October 2nd and made the transaction, after one individual promised me a space on hole When initially told weeks until ad would be done, it was then told to me not until February, then march...! Then spoke with another individual and they told me hole was not available but would give me another spot, and lengthen ads to years for us no extra charge, be it after the transaction was made I said I was not happy with that and wanted my money back the same dayThey stated no refund Spoke to another rep and they said hole available and kept pushing for more money to upgrade ad I said noSpoke with a "Janie" and she said all the run around I was given is not what was supposed to happen I said I want my money bac

Company calls businesses to ask them to advertise on a local golf course score card You have to pay upfront and then they never print the ad But they keep calling and selling the space - their mistake they keep calling ME even after I had signed up
This aroused my suspicion because my ad (requested in early July 2016) was time sensitive They had even talked me into advertising on other golf courses I fell for it because I am promoting a British Open cruise that appeals to golfers However the cruise cut off is in February, which I was VERY clear with Direct Fairways
When I called customer service I spoke to Lauren who said they had days to print the ad, it was non-refundable, and there was nothing I could do about The first ad contract is actually within weeks of days and according to David at the company there are no plans to print anything until spring
This company is in effect scamming small businesses

I am extremely unhappy with your service, I have sent you emails asking if my ad is up in the score card and I was supposed to be sent a copy of it so I could see a physical copy of it and you still haven't sent me a copy nor have you let me know if my ad was up and runningYou took my money with no problemI looked online and the golf course me ad was supposed to be up in is permanently closedYou need to refund my money now

We purchased an ad space back in December of We paid for a one year ad The artwork proof was created and sent to us on December 21, I then received an email stating, " We are all ready to go to print for your *** *** *** Course ADWe ran into a problem and the business that took the back cover has gone a wall, so we are trying to fill the spot ASAPIf you would like this spot I will give you a great dealIt would be $and you already paid $so it would be a additional $In return I will give this to you for two years and make it a double size ADWe normally charge $a year for a AD spot like thisPlease respond yes or no if you would like this great deal"This was sent from Anthony RainvilleThe contract says that they had six months for fulfill the agreementI called back in June to inquire about it and was told that it was still with the art departmentWhich I had already approved the artwork back in December, I asked for a refund and again

We are a small optometric office that contracted on 8/2/for advertising space with direct fairways. This contract was to be for months from first publicationThey produce a course guide/score card that was originally supposed to come out in August or SeptemberThey did inform me that it did not make publication and would be out early spring for the golf seasonIn contacting the *** *** golf course I find the there is no such publication known to the person there (this was not the manager whom I could not reach)I have made several calls to different contact numbers at direct fairways and sent an email I have received not return phone callsI can only assume I have been scammed

This company presented information at the time of saleAt the time of sale, the ad product was presented as a bi-fold piece with a top right and bottom left position leftBased on that fact and the demonstration presented in the email we decided to place the adA week later another individual called and said; "another top line advertiser-backed out and they wanted to present us with a premium position." At first, the deal sounded good and I pursued it further But after some time to think about the situation in its entirety, I decided to back outThe entire situation was rushed from the onset and after multiple conversations and statements like; "he didn't know what he was talking about when he presented the bifold option," I concluded it very much felt like a bait and switch tactic
I have never given them art to place the ad and they indicated they would just grab something off our websiteI did not give the permission to do thisOn multiple occasions, I told the s

My name is *** and I am the owner and CEO of The Golden Herb Collective, a non-profit mutual benefit corpI obtained advertising services through Direct Fairways in Feb of after they would not stop calling my business over and over againI purchased an ad that was supposed to be in print over two months agoI called over times over the last three monthsI was told excuse after excuse of why the ads for the golf courses were not printed
I told another " Supervisor" weeks ago, when they gave me another excuse that it would be in print in a month! This is unacceptable, my business has suffered so much because I have no advertisingThis $was all I had for marketingI told them because it had not been printed yet, to CANCEL my service which was never provided and demanded a full refundNo service....but they took my money over months ago! I need my money put back into my account now, and this company needs to be shut down...just look at all the reviews and c

They won't stop callingThey don't know the difference between the city golf course and Augusta NationalsWhen I asked to be removed from the call list the sales person laughed

Please do yourself a favor and do not even listen to them when they contact you. They really are scammers. I am a business owner and was contacted by Direct Fairways over a year ago. I spoke with two gentleman who sold me on two advertisements.

Make a very long story short the advertisements that came out were the ones that I did not approve. When I checked the golf courses for my advertisement they were either non existent or they were the wrong advertisement in the wrong section of the book that was promised to me and paid for. I was promised so many things by Direct Fairways and did not receive what I was promised.

As a business owner I can understand that mistakes happen and sometimes we arent in control of issues like these so I went ahead and contacted them. I explained the situation in its entirety and was met with resistance, disrespect and down right aggression. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told that I was speaking with the customer service manager. At that point I knew I was dealing with a fraudulent company. I have never been spoken to so unprofessionally before.

I asked to be transferred to anyone besides this person. When I was transferred I spoke with a gentleman who was most likely sitting directly beside her because he already knew the entire conversation and began the conversation in a very rude manner. The conversation we had is not important because it was the same as the first one. The aggression from the customer service department when asking about an order that went wrong is disturbing and to me eye opening.

(Before I go on I must say that after the conversations I had that day, I was so disturbed that a company could be ran like this that I contacted my COO and had a very long conversation about the importance of customer service and how imperative it is to respect peoples hard earned money they are trusting you with)

After being spoken to the way I was I decided to tell them I was going to do a charge-back because I didn't get what I was promised and I have emails stating this. I was met with "Oh, so you are saying you are going to open a lawsuit against us?" Um, well, not exactly.. At that point I decided that no one there was intelligent enough to assist me in any way.

Over a year later I am still disputing this charge. I spent a lot of money with this company, the money is not the point. The point is that when a company makes a mistake they should do whatever it is they can to satisfy the customer. I am not upset about the order, I am upset and confused about why a company would go to such a great length to dissatisfy a customer.

This company is wrong and they took money away from my company. I do not want to harm Direct Fairways in anyway. I just want whats right in this situation and whats right is to refund the money. This will go on as long as it needs to because it is the principle that matters. I will not give up and will go to any length to prove that Direct Fairways scammed me.

I purchased advertising at a local golf course for there course guide and score cardI monitored the golf course pro shop to verify that our advertising was actually showing up in the course guide and score cardThe results were negativeNo advertising! I called Direct Fairways customer service, spoke with a woman who was going to look into this and get back with meI never heard from anybody
When I did call, I mentioned to them that I expect to receive the advertising I paid forI either want my money back or I expect my full year of advertisingI was told they would look into this and get back with meI never heard from them
I just want what I paid forUnfortunately, Direct Fairways can't delivery on its promises

Im a co owner of a local restaurant and decided to use direct fairways to reach out to the members of the country clubThey were quick to get me the spot I wanted to advertise my business on and I felt the price they offered was very reasonable for months of advertisementI would recommend them to anyone who was looking to get their name out there
