Direct Fairways Reviews (178)

We had a sales rep from Direct Fairways call us to try and sell an advertising spot in their golf brochure The price was good and the salesman promised thousands of views and told us we would get so much extra business it would be crazy We signed up and then a day later the same salesman calls and tries to upsell us on a more expensive advertising package Now the salesman (Ryan) was telling us that the spot we signed up for won't give near as much business as a center spot that was bigger and said he would give us a great deal with this He kept calling and calling every day, day after day, pushing and pushing and pushing to the point that we didn't trust Direct Fairways any longer and didn't want to work with them due to their unprofessional salesman We sent an email that we wanted to cancel but never heard anything back We thought it was cancelled months later, Direct Fairways emailed us asking about our artwork for the ad They sent a sample they put together (very cheesy and cheap ad obviously just slapped together) We replied and said we cancelled over months ago They said, so sorry but you can't cancel and we aren't giving you a refund We told them about their horrible pushy salesman and they didn't care They just want their money and don't care about their customers

On 7/19/ Ryan *called me to see if I wanted to renew my advertisement on Willowbrook golf cardI proceeded to tell him I didn't see a return from the last time and wasn't financially in a position to do it again next year
He pushed the issue offering me the moon if I signed today (7/19/18) and I told him not now CALL ME IN A MONTH and I'll sign, he asked what day, I said 8/They never called me and just took the money out of my account saying I authorized itCALL ME IN A MONTH is not authorizationThey took $out of my account and I want it backI dont want to deal with them anymore

My company was promised by Direct Fairways to have an ad featuring our products on the Joliet Country club scorecards for golfers to see as they kept score of their game From June 25th until July 13th I received no return calls or emails from the sales representative, Janae, or anyone else after numerous attempts to reach them because my ad was not ready when promised Finally on July 17th I talked to Golden C*** at Direct Fairways and had the golf course on a three way call and I'm told that the ad will NOT be on the score cards as promised but instead on some other brochure The ad proof was emailed to the golf course, which was then emailed to me
The ad proof which was "ready to go" per the email I have from a man named James, doesn't even have the ad that I paid $in it I was also shocked to see another jewelers ad in the book when I was told we would be exclusive, being the only jeweler in it That statement has also proven to be false
Also, this ad was supp

We talked to Joshua the end of July and agreed to pay $30/ month for with the first payment starting August 2nd He said the design team would be getting with us by email within a week and to be sure to respondWe never received an email so we made several attempts to contact Joshua and always had to leave messages, never receiving a return callFinally we advised if we did not hear back we would stop payment and report to the Revdex.com Still haven’t heard from them and that was last weekWe have given them $and haven’t heard from them since the intitial call

I am extremely unhappy with their customer service, I have sent numerous emails asking if my refundYou took my money with no problemI requested a refund on June one invoice was refunded but we are still lagging on the second oneYou need to refund my money now

We have two companies, with all phone lines to both companies coming in to the same main officeAfter receiving multiple calls to both companies from Direct Fairways, and letting them know each time that we were not interested in advertising, I finally began asking them to take us off our call listThe calls still keep comingSometimes five or six in a single dayLast week, I asked a gentleman why he was calling, since we are on their "do not call list", he told me that he couldn't SEE that we were on the do not call list unless he hovered over our numberAnd since MY employee had called HIM, and given him this number, he hadn't bothered to hover over itI told him my employee wouldn't have called him out the blue, requesting their serviceHe told me YES, she had called him, and he had her cell number to prove itAfter discussing with the employee, it came to light that, Direct Fairways had somehow gotten ahold of the company mobile number that she carriesAfter missing two calls within two minutes from them, she assumed it was a customer, and called backNot knowing the situation, she told him she had no authority to make decisions, and that he should call the main officeSo yes, she did call him, but ONLY because he called her firstHe grossly misrepresented the situation to me
All of this has been going on for several months, and we just received another call today (9/6/17)

Direct Fairways will not stop calling us! We have called the *** ** ***, where they claim to have gotten our information, and the golf courses they claim to advertise for and we have been told they are a scam by all parties involved! We tell them to stop calling, take us off the list, they tell us no and its "impossible"

In August we had bought advertisement from Direct Fairways The beginning process was professional and efficient when I worked with their art department I also called the *** *** Golf Course and spoke with their Director to ensure they were using this company as well However, in the months since, Direct Fairways has been less than forth coming and quite shady
We paid for the ad back in early August and they told us the yardage book would be printed and out to *** *** Golf Course by mid-late September After a few follow-ups, on December 13th, they informed me that they're still waiting on some new information from the golf course and still have no target date When I asked for a refund they refused stating some ridiculous hour cancellation policy
Yes, they are months late and counting
Do NOT listen to them or consider advertising with them Their sales practices do not match what they will be delivering They're fine in the beginning but once they have your money and you've submitted your art work, they pretty much just give you one excuse after another as to why the yardage book is not out STAY AWAY

Just played at my company golf tournament and the yardage card looked great I did notice them more when they were attached to the golf cartThank you for delivering for my father's tournament

THIEVES !!! That's right, this company and their reps are a bunch of thievesLast year I was contacted by Direct Fairways to see if I would be interested in advertising my business with them on their Golf scorecardsSeeing as the golf course they were offering is only minutes out from my location, I decided to give it a tryWoe and behold once they had my money, more than $in advertising, they disappeared, no followups, no conclusion, no fruit of laborI have NO idea where my money wentA year later (2017),they contacted me again to see if I would be interested in advertising with them againHowever they were offering much more for advertising than the time beforeI was busy and said I would get back to themThe next day, much to my surprise, I could not believe my eyesI receive an email from their sales rep stating " thank you for your businessplease submit artwork." THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT, MORE THAN $1000, WITHOUT MY PERMISSIONWITHOUT ANY WRITTEN or VERBAL AGREEMENT USING THE SAME ACCOUNT INFORMATION FROM THE PREVIOUS AGREEMENTI immediately contacted the rep to tell him that I NEVER agreed to his offerInstead of apologizing and returning my money he goes on to say ,"I thought you were genuinely interested, and wanted to hold the offer for you"Absolutely Ludicrous ! So your misinterpreted understanding of my interest gives you the right to take my money with NO contract? I'm a very patient man, and I explained to him that I was not interested in doing business this time around and that all I wanted was my money backOnce again, when I mentioned MY money, I received no replyHe just disappearsIts been TWO weeks now since he charged my account without any agreement or permissionI have attempted to contact him and the company or any other representative for that matterNO RESPONSE NONE whatsoeverI have emailed them, called them, and even texted themNOTHINGI am now seeking legal action to get back my money backWARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUILD OF THIEVES AND LIARSYou have been warned

I had a good experience with both the Sales team and the Art DeptI am very happy with my ad and hope it is around for a long time....Thank you Steve!

I too have been swindled by this company! I paid just about $1,for my business to be listed in their yardage booksEach time I emailed them for a copy of the yardage books, they assured me it was in the mail...still waiting 3-months laterAfter attempting many times to get in touch with these THIEVES I still have received nothing...And, after trying to find out if I was listed at the golf course they proposed, there was nothing in my name at all!!! I have a hard time believing the positive reviews??? Once they called me for the first golf course, at $for advertising...they called several days later saying they would give me two years for the same price as onePLEASE Do no fall for these LIARS! Does the Revdex.com even look into this stuff? Why after all these negative postings they are still in business? They STEAL!

*** *** sold me an ad spot for our company for the yardage card at a local golf courseI knew that our advertising wouldn't be displayed yet, but I wanted to see an exampleWhen I went in, I was told that the yardage cards weren't even displayed because some of the advertising on them wasn't okay with the golf courseI have been in contact with ***, and employee of *** *** and he has avoided me and my questions, hasn't tried to help in any way to resolve the frustrationI've done more research and wasted more of my own time on trying to make sure the money I spent isn't just being thrown awayWhen I asked to speak with someone else, *** had his assistant call meWhen I asked to speak to someone else, his assistant told me there was no one elseNow they keep trying to offer me things that they can't even fulfillI just want my money back and to never have to deal with this company ever againI have text threads where I haven't received a response until I messa

Direct Fairways s an advertising adjacency I started doing business with them with two contracts/agreements in April and June of Direct Fairways breached our agreement that was set in June of The agreements was for advertising at different golf courses for years started when the ads got printed and the courses reserved them The ads got to the courses in September and October of In November I get contacted and am asked to pay for the second year of the agreement Reminding them of the originally agreement set, they stated that the originally agreement shouldn't have been made on their part and they were not going to follow through with the agreement and I needed to pay to keep the ads there for the 2nd year, which would start in Sep& Octof They processed by card on Nov20, for the second year for $1,($500, different charges), I called them on Nov21, to cancel that charge and be reimbursed the amount charged Sense then I

I purchased advertising on Yardage Guides for my local area back in May I paid in full and was told that we would have sample of the guide before going to print I was told that these guides would be printed and distributed starting in June I still have not received a sample of the ad nor has this product been printed and delivered as promised I have called numerous times with no resolution, they keep telling me that they don't have a date for distribution When I spoke to customer service again today, I was told the same thing, I told them this is unacceptable and I want a refund They indicate this is non-refundable however I have not received what I paid for and they will not give me a date as to when this will occur

I was contacted by Direct Fairways to place an ad on the score cards for The *** *** *** Course in Sherrill, NYI called the golf course to confirm it was a legit solicit and spoke with Ruth at the courseRuth verified that the course is buying score cards from this companyI went ahead and placed the adI received a receipt via emailMy initial phone contacts with Direct Fairways was Stephanie, then Cory, and Cory sealed the deal on the adAfter I placed the ad and my credit card was charged, I was contacted by Matt to upgrade my ad about 4-days laterAfter a persuasive conversation, I agreed to upgradeAfter I agreed, I called Ruth to verify that again this was legit because Matt stated the score cards were upgraded by the golf course to a tri-fold score cardRuth stated she did not upgrade and would only ever obtain a bi-fold score card for the courseRuth asked me who I spoke with and I couldn't remember at the momentShe asked me if it was Collin and I wasn'

We were contacted in early to advertise in our local City Golf (Twin Pines) Scorecard We initially signed up for two years at $700, we were supposed to get the latest revision of our ad implemented with the scorecard We were then approached for an additional $to add two additional years and be guaranteed that our ad would be banner size above the actual location golfers placed their scores on the scorecard We would have been the only advertisers on that page above the scores Instead, they did NOT use the latest revision of the ad, they used, three revisions before the latest revision; we did not get the exclusive spot above the scores, we ended up on the next page on the bottom Lastly, we were supposed to be in 2017, 2018, 2019, and I went out and played a round on that course this last Sunday We weren't even on the scorecard, let alone, be in the spot above the scores as promised
I have since requested our $back and have heard nothing from the compan

I purchased advertising on 4/21/and received a response from the Art Department on 4/25/ I was told it would take 7-business days before I received my proof I have yet to receive anything and have called numerous times to follow up None of the numbers I have respond I am beginning to suspect that this company is not legitimate and want either the advertising I paid for ($375) or a full refund
