Received the woodcreek yardage book in the mail was very pleased on how my ad turned out. Thank you art department for my new design.

I have repeatedly tried to get a hold of [redacted].  His ad was produced and sent to the course a while ago.  I do not know who he spoke to at the course, but they gave him misinformation.  His ad was published, as promised and we sent him a hard copy in addition to an email containing...

a pdf of the page he was on in the book.
Thanks,

James

[redacted] did pay to be in the [redacted] Book and he is in the [redacted] Book.  While it has taken longer than expected to get these books on to the course, the book is at the printer now and will be at the course in a matter of days.  I have attached...

pdfs of the pages that Mr. [redacted] will be on.  There are a lot of moving pieces that need to come together to get our products printed and we are finding new and more efficient ways to get things done on a daily basis.  In this case, the book took longer than expected to get printed, but Mr. [redacted]' ad time does not start (he purchased 2 years worth), until the books arrive at the course.

The customer authorized a transaction to their credit card for an ad spot at on one of our courses.  On the Direct Fairways reservation contract it states that, "the...

contract shall not be changed, modified, or cancelled."  It also states that, "this agreement is non-cancellable."  The customer received a copy of their reservation contract the date that they authorized the transaction for their ad apace.  The particular course they chose to have advertising on is still in the process of being finalized to be printed.  We offered a resolution to this customer in lieu of a refund which [redacted] accepted, but still requested an additional refund on top of the resolution.  We will follow through with our end of the contract, and create an ad for the customers company that will be on the course guide the customer agreed to advertise.

I have mailed out two copies of the book to [redacted]o the address he provided.  I have sent him a pdf of the page he is on as well as a picture of the page he is on in the physical book (Hole 10).  I cannot control the speed of the USPS.  [redacted] can also go to the golf course itself and pick up a book.

These books have been published and have been on the course for a couple of months.  Unfortunately, as we just found out this week, they arrived shortly after the course was closed for the season, but the client has not lost any advertising time.  The ads that she purchased include a...

full year of advertising in the course guide and that time will officially begin when the course reopens for the season.I have spoken with the client and sent her a printed copy of the book.  I also reassured her that, while it took longer than expected to get the books to the course, she has not lost any of the advertising time that she paid for.  I also apologized for the lack of communication from some of our reps, we are a young company are are still building our customer service policies out.

I agreed to advertise with Direct Fairways in the yardage book for the Bristol, TN Golf Course, But when I was transferred to another person and from talking with them, realized they were not talking about the yardage booklet, but the score card which is very small. I questioned this and was told the original person was new and confused. I found this out when I asked which hole it would be and discovered the old bait and switch was used. I should have stopped it right there realizing that is a big red flag. I got a call from someone else who told me one of their advertisers had pulled out and he would give me a special deal of 2 spaces for 2 years for double the agreed upon rate of 375. So double the space for 2 years, okay, but when I saw how small this really was and was not even business card size, I was very leary. I was told I would receive an email to send a business card to which I said I would want to see what was going on there. No problem, I would receive a proof. That was mid March. Around the beginning of April, I realized I had not received anything yet and started looking through my emails, Looked in spam, junk everywhere, nothing. So I texted this guy whose name I have no idea, that I still had not received anything. He said he would look into it. On April 14th, I texted him again, still nothing. He told me what to look for and I even did a search in my email, nothing and told him so. He said he would have Eugene look into it the next day. April 28th and 29th, texted again, still nothing. He had me send him a business card which I did via text and he said I would have a proof on Monday. Monday, May 1, nothing. May 2nd, texted him again and told him nothing still. I told him to use the email on the business card because they obviously were not using the right one. I finally received an email from Sammy Casper that said ACTION REQUIRED... He told me it had already gone to print and he would send me a proof of what they submitted. It also said in this email that if they don't hear from you within 7 days they assume it is okay. This email is dated may 2 but they say they send one on March 29th, but not to me. And of course they never heard anything back because they never sent it to me. Well, they used my billing address, which when I gave it to them on the phone told them it was only a billing address and not to be used. They used it in the ad and this is NOT a business address, but a home and is not even in the same town as the golf course. This proof was never sent to my email address on March 29th and their policy of just assuming it is correct needs to be addressed, just might bring them a lawsuit. This is not okay and is actually very dangerous. This needs to be pulled and redone asap. I will be contacting the golf course because they will be responsible and liable too. A totally irresponsible and shotty operation and I would never do business with them again. I will also be filing a complaint with my CC company to dispute these charges. I am still not sure what I have paid for either since the proof they sent me is not the size for the score card.

+1

Note too, the ad they created is not bad, but the use of the address has got to go and also the email address they have is not exactly correct. That may be why I never got emails until they actually received a business card from me. I also have no idea what I have actually paid for and for how long. From reading all the complaints here and on other sites, seems this operation is quite sketchy and possibly a scam.

There still is no progress on my complaint. I have not heard from Direct Fairways nor have I seen any booklets yet. This matter has still not been resolved yet.  I sent a follow up email to the Revdex.com regarding Direct Fairways false account of a resolution.  I hope this helps.Thank you

A copy of the yardage guide is being shipped out to the customer today 7/15/16.   We have completed the advertisement, and the yardage guides are also being shipped out to the course to be distributed.

In response to this initial complaint Mr. James M[redacted] sent me an email nine days ago with a pdf copy of the Ad that he says was given to the local golf course.  In his email he said he was going to mail me a hard copy but I never did receive anything from him or his company.

I spoke wit[redacted] we were able to come to an understanding and I will be issuing him a refund check to be sent out on 3/23/16. -James W. M[redacted], Director of Operations
