In July of my wife and I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from the Jim Shorkey dealership on Rt30, Irwin, PaWe were pleased with the treatment we received during the sale by MrBrandon I***There were several issues that needed to be addressed, such as the check engine light that came on and an inoperative heating vent and inoperative auto dimming rearview mirrorMrI [redacted] assured us they would repair these under their company warranty We live in the [redacted] County, but despite that distance have driven to their business a number of times for repairs that we paid forThe dealership has made good on most of the issues of the carThe check engine light has gone out before we were able to get it back to them several times and without it being on they cannot determine the issue causing itThat is perfectly understandable and we don't fault them for that responseThe big issue is in regard to the auto-dimming rearview mirror With o

I purchased a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee in July of Was nothing but impressed with the dealerI traveled hours one way to purchase the vehicleI arranged everything over the phone, so I basically only had to sign when we got thereThey provided great customer service from start to finish (that day) and we really appreciated how accommodating our salesman, Mike M***, wasBut after purchasing on a Friday night and coming home, I realized I left my $trunk organizer and a CD in my car we traded inI reached out to my dealer the next morning before they even openedHe found the CD (was going to mail it but has yet to), but no trunk organizerfunny how something so bulky just went missing, right? Fast forward a year and a half laterI referred friends to the dealer (also traveled hours one way) and one ended up buying a brand new Jeep CherokeeI was told at the time of my purchase they did "refer a friend" $incentivesMy friend inquired to figure out h

Craig S [redacted] straight up lied to my fiancée and me during the purchase of our vehicle in JulyHe told us he would include things in the sale at no cost to us which ended up being a cost to usHe also refused to sell me the model Jeep (the two top package) that I wanted because it would have to be sourced and brought inNot only did he lie, but the finance department neglected to send my paperwork causing me not to have a secured loan for almost days after the initial purchaseI did not check the paperwork, but from what I've researched, they likely switched around the sales figures on the paperwork without my knowledgeThis is the 3rd time, out of vehicles purchased from the dealership, I've had to resign paperworkI almost had a repo order put out on the vehicle before I could even make the first paymentThis is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to dealing with this dealershipAll attempts to work with the dealership were met with resistance or them flat out igno

I purchased a vehicle from Jim Shorkey automotive three weeks ago and learned the car had several issues that were not disclosed to meI had a certified dealership check the car out and provided a reportI have attempted to resolve the attached issues with them but the General Manager, Mike E [redacted] has refused to cooperate and is ignoring any of my requestsI would like to formally file a complaint against this dealership as you can see they have defrauded several other customers and they simply say its not fair that I am coming back to them but its not fair for a consumer to be defrauded

Purchased brand new Outlander, with less than miles experienced numerous paint chips on hood, top and side door Service department had Mitsubishi rep look at and it was determined to be from impact and thus not covered on their well advertised bumper to bumper warranty The only reason why we went with a Mitsubishi in the first place What a joke! Service manager said only recourse to get a lawyer and file charges against Mitsubishi, dealership unable to do anything Left several messages for general manager, Russ S [redacted] , no response at all Once the sale was complete they did little to nothing to help a new car buyer that is left with a vehicle that you can't ever run through a car wash without fear of paint coming off! Several other issues with same thing, Mitsubishi well aware of issue, does nothing to resolve

The dealership agreed to sell me a Lexus GS F Sport VIN : [redacted] for $39,all cashI completed the paper work and sent this to Brian C [redacted] the salesmanI get a call from Mike the Manager saying they cannot sell me the car because they had some red flags which they would not explain but the reasoning is because they are fraudsThey even attempted to pull my credit and good thing I freeze it so that frauds like them cant pull peoples credit without their authorization and consent which they did not haveThey said the only way to do the deal is that I finance the vehicle for months minimum so that they could make fees and predatory lendingThis dealership doesn't need to be in business and you can see from the previous dealership they purchased was the same thing they just did a sham name change Mick’s North Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge

Deceptive sales practices, bait and switch went to dealer being lead to believe they had a vehicle that was on their website and employees did not have just to bIt me into the dealership Ran my credit no less than times for a vehicleContinues to run it even after I contacted them and requested they stopThis caused my credit score to drop pointsExcessive in the amount of times they ran it which is causing me issues with obtaining further creditNo concern for the consumer and were only more concerned about getting a sale

On Dec 20th I contacted this dealer in reference to a Nissan nvcargo van that I was interested inWe made arrangements for me to see the vehicle on the 23rdWhen I arrived I was told that someone else was also interested in the vehicleWe had a look at my trade in and began the paper work, we were on the verge of taking a test ride when the rep I was dealing with excused herself for a minute then came back and informed me that the nvwas just sold but she had other selections that were only a little more expensive.felt like a classic bait and switch to me, what are the chances someone else is going to purchase the vehicle I'm looking at ten minutes after I arrive ? I had given them the keys to my vehicle so they could test drive it to assess trade in valueUpon hearing the nvwas sold I demanded my keys back, they were returned by the manager who promptly assumed a very *** attitudeOverall a great waste of time Guaranteed I will NEVER do business with this dealership

Do not ever buy a used vehicle from this placeI purchased a used Ford Edge in from the Suzuki DealershipThe salesman name was Michael, prior to purchase I requested a vehicle history reportWhich Michael supplied upon request [redacted] The non-car fax report show no prior accidents on the report which prompted me to agree to buy the vehicleForward to I was discussing with my wife wanting to shop around for a New SubaruWe received a promotional offer from Jim Shorkey to trade in my carI responded to the ad and spoke with a Shawn On 5/21/I stopped into the Jim Shorkey Ford dealership to have my car valuedWhen I spoke with the rep they stated they do not provide appraisals for sale at that location and would need to go up the road to the collision center Here is where the untrustworthy practices beginThe same salesman who sold me the car in also valued my trade with Jim Shorkey collision shop on 5/21/ He stated he is the Manager at this location and then scanned the VIN with his phone and stated oh this car has an accident on this back in He offered for the trade without actually looking at vehicle completely shocked I told him you know you sold me this car rightHe said he didn’t recognize me and that was a long time agoHe then said sometimes reports can take up to days to show up that an accident occurred and that if I wasn’t happy with Jim Shorkey I could go to [redacted] How does a company do such things without being responsible for their actions? Perhaps I should have insisted on the Car Fax report and not settle on the report they providedI assumed I could trust them in selling me a car that was worthy of my hard earned moneyNot only did I buy the vehicle at top dollar rate assuming it was what I thought it wasBut now I am stuck with a car with no value that no dealer will touch with a five foot pole

I would warn all those doing research into dealerships to maybe look elsewhere for a vehiclefirst off I bought a dodge ram from the north huntingdon store a few years backin, out, and on my way with NO ISSUESwe then started doing business with [redacted] because they were closer to where we livedmy wife and I both had lease trade ins, and I talked my wife into going to Jim Shorkey in North HillsI purchased my infinity without any issuefew days later I took my wife in to purchase her SUVafter a few back and forths we landed on another lease for a jeepour main goal was to be under her current paymentwhen BILL L came back with the first set of numbers, we were slightly under the current paymentBUT there was a circled on the paperworkBILL L explained to us that this was a check that was going to be cut to us because the mileage of the car we were turning is was way underI have heard of this before where dealerships can give you money back on your lease if the mileage is way under the agreed upon year month agreementwe then started asking BILL L in different ways about this moneywas it something we could use for whatever we wanted? was this something that was to be paid towards any of the old lease? we were told that this was out money, and we could do with is as we wantedso we signed the papers thinking that WOW, what a dealsame payment, but money backafter we signed the papers, and drove off we were happy with everythingthen it all turned after a few weeks of NOT hearing from anyone (hence the once the sales done they drop you in the other complaints) we called to ask where the check waswe then called our old Chrysler capital because we got a bill from the old vehicle we turned inturns out, we were mislead about the checkafter we asked all the right questions, and were told all the right answers, we were now in a situation that we have to pay on the old lease, and a week later had to make a payment on the new vehiclethe check that was promise to us was to be used to pay off the old vehicle which we turned inso my question wasif we were paying on the old lease that we turned on, why didn't I still have that SUV? on top of that, Chrysler capital noted that this is not common practice and they do not know why the dealership would make the customer pay the remainder of the lease so after leaving voicemailsand emailsa month went by and still no checkso we had to make a payment on a vehicle we didn't have, and a payment on a new vehicle a week laterwe talked to mike, a sales manager there who made it sound like it was out fault, and BILL L our salesman called and apologized, we finally were able to talk to KEISHA who made things happenshe tracked down our check and had it overnightednow this was a month later mind you, and the check was to pay off the remainder of the lease we were mislead into our purchase, and now are stuck with what we have,we will not be shopping again with JIM SHORKEY and will return to [redacted] we wish to share our experience with those that are reading thiswe do not want anything from this dealership because we have wasted enough of our time trying to get some resolution out of thisall we can do is tell people to be very careful about what you purchase, and who you deal withread the complaints that are filed and note that a lot of them all are based around to same thingour salesman was mentioned once in a complaint already and now this is a second time on a matter of monthsdo research on dealerships and make the best choiceI can only share that this was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership

At the time I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee, on March 4th, 2017, I purchased a Maintenance package with the dealer for oil changes and regular maintenance The package cost me $at the time which gave me service for years Soon after purchasing the vehicle, I realized that I had to get the service done at the purchasing dealer Since I travel often for work and live out of the country for half of the year, I wouldn't get my full use of the maintenance package, so I inquired about returning the package I had days to return it and get a full refund I stopped by the dealership and followed up with several calls within days I know this because I leave the country in May so I wanted to get this taken care of before I left They insisted that the package was cancelled and that the $would be taken off of the loan amount through my lien holder, Bank of America I called Bank of America and they have not heard or recorded any payments as such, and I reached o

My vehicle broke down multiple times in a two month span, due to the same issue Vehicle was taken to the dealership each time this occurredEach time, I was told by the service department, that it was a different problem Most recently, I was charged dollars for a new battery and was explained that was the reason the car would not startThis seemed odd to me considering the battery is less than a year old I bought the previous battery back off of them and had it tested at auto zone where I bought it just last October, and was told there the battery was running percent Later that day my car failed to start once again right outside my houseCurrently my vehicle is at the service department awaiting diagnosis and repair

My husband [redacted] *** and myself traded in a Dodge Challenger for a Mitsubishi Mirage at Jim Shorkey Kia Uniontown and have never received my registration for this vehicleAfter multiple calls to the dealership we were told our plate was good until July and sometimes this is a long processOn April 4,I was pulled over by cecil twp police on my way to work for an expired tag with no registrationI did receive a citation for $This led me to call the DMV and I was advised to file complaints with the Revdex.com and the attorney generals office, which I did doI was also notified by the DMV that they haven't received any paperwork for a title or registration for my cars VIN numberI called the dealership again on 4-4-and notified them that I would be filing complaints with the attorney general and the finance department said the dealership never received a certificate of origin on the car I purchased and that is why I never received my registration and th

on July 2nd, We purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Salesman Dan B*** The radio was in need of repair (tuner [redacted] not working) and were offered as part of the sale, to have the radio "fixed", among some other issues that have been repaired or replaced we have called at least times with no answer We visited the dealer to be told that it would be worked out, they would order another radio but have not heard from them again This has been an additional week added to the ever growing month time frame It feels as if we are being avoided Many other numerous customer service complaints, but this one seems to be the lasting one

Louie P*** and Devin H*** had giving me a price for a new carThey said they had the car and just had to pick it upThey did not return my message now, I found out whyNext they picked the car up just waiting for the paperworkAfter days of this now they were not able to find me that carSo they had laid to me the hold time and because it took days I lost another good deal I could have had at a different car dealer because of the days that pasted the car was sold and lost the end of month discount
This was a horrible way to treat a customerThey had me all excited and happy that I was going to get this car just to find out that they never had the car to begin withThey should be shamed of them self

I had purchased my Jeep Wrangler from Jim Shorkey Auto Group, had a very nice dealer help me make my selectionHowever, behind the process after purchasing the vehicle through my credit union the dealership failed after MONTHS to hand over the title to the credit unionI was completely unaware of this and thinking all is well with my new carNow to come and find out my interest rate from the credit union went from 5% to over 15%, as well as my monthly payment of $increased to over $because of Jim Shorkey's mistakeSo because of this dealership mishandling the title for over the days requirement I am being punished many months later against my knowledge of the title not being delivered properlyI currently have the title and sending to the credit union but the dealership failed to list the lien holder of navy federal credit union, which now I must pay $out of pocket to have them listed and sent properlyI should not have to do all this work many months later d

I wish there was an option to give them a 0! This place is a joke! We were purchasing a truck from out of stateWe spoke with a salesman before they even opened for the dayWe gave them our information for our down paymentAn hour later we were told they sold the truck! Such **! And all we were told was "there is nothing they can do!" I would never recommend someone do business here! Do not shop here, if they sell a truck right out from under you, they are obviously shady!

I purchased this vehicle on June 15th (reason to get a bigger vehicle and was going on vacation) within days the check engine light came on and they told me to bring the vehicle back and they would fix it, told me it would be done before I left for vacation on June 23rd, to make a long story short I still don't have my vehicle, I was told so many times (after I kept calling) that the vehicle was done, only for them to tell me something different, no one answers their phone, I left over 10+ messages (with Patrice the receptionist) for Mike *** the GM and he never returns my or my daughters phone calls, can't leave a voice mail because it goes to a busy signal after rings, I was told that they need a turbo (part for the car) and it was on order, I was told it would be here on July 31st, I called yesterday for the first time in a week and they told me the part would not be here until August 31st, I told the guy Eric in the Service Dept you told me the 31st (I have everything docum

Jim Shorkey Service department worked on my transmission and clutch, they had my vehicle for weeks and when I picked it up it went in my garage I left for work the next morning and I was on the turnpike and I tried to downshift and the transmission locked up I almost ran into a tractor trailer I stopped within minutes Then I couldn't get it off the highway It was towed to Tri Star in somerset and I had to pay towing and now they are saying that I need to pay the bill for the clutch and transmission They screwed up when they worked on it and now expect me to pay for repairs that should be covered under warranty as it was their fault I also am paying for a rent a car
