I have a very negative experience with Jim Shorkey I purchased the vehicle months ago and it has been in the service department twice The last time was the last straw I have a warranty and an extended powtrain warranty on my vehicle And after having my vehicle for weeks, the warranty company declined to pay the repairs on my vehicle I have been told nothing by lies by this dealership I would not recommend purchasing from them

transmission went after days

On April I leased a new 2017Jeep with miles on it from Jim Shorkey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Rt in Irwin, PaSigned a lease agreement for 12,miles per year for monthsI also was told to purchase extra warranty for $so that at the end of my lease I can just turn the vehicle in , no worriesIt would cover tires, dents, any scratchesNo worriesCalled other vehServContact on my lease agreement About a week later Lou my lease guy at Jim Shorkey called me to say I signed the wrong form, happens all the time I just need to do a resignI was told not to go to the dealership instead they would FedEx it, I sign and send backSo I didI never received a copy of that resignA week later *** sent a letter confirming information on the lease but it said 10,per year for monthsI called *** to say the 10,miles were wrong but they said I had to go to the dealership*** couldn't even get me a copy of my lease agreement??? So I

on July 2nd, We purchased a Jeep Wrangler from Salesman Dan B*** The radio was in need of repair (tuner *** not working) and were offered as part of the sale, to have the radio "fixed", among some other issues that have been repaired or replaced we have called at least times with no answer We visited the dealer to be told that it would be worked out, they would order another radio but have not heard from them again This has been an additional week added to the ever growing month time frame It feels as if we are being avoided Many other numerous customer service complaints, but this one seems to be the lasting one

I saw a used car parked on the McKnight Road lot, and stopped to view it on a Friday I was interested, but needed my daughter, who would be the owner of the car, to see it and she was out of town until Monday On Sunday I noticed it was gone Assuming it was sold, I forgot about itMy daughter went online and "chatted" with someone from the dealership, and they said the car was available I called in and spoke to Zack Testa and he affirmed it was still available We made an appointment, and when I arrived I did not see the car anywhere MrTesta marched us into the dealership, to his desk, and informed us the car was sold but he had some alternatives I have no doubt the car sold on Saturday, and they just baited us in to try to sell us a different car This is the way car dealerships USED to be, but such behavior is no longer tolerated I advise you to stay clear of this dealership

Dealt with Rebecca and Ryan at the North Huntingdon location and they were great! So great we leased different vehicles in days

Dear MrH***:
I am writing on behalf of my sister, *** ***, with regard to an automobile and car warranty she purchased from your dealership
On April 7, 2018, my sister traded in her [Dodge Grand Caravan] for a Toyota Sienna My sister asked about any warranties for the vehicleSean Q***, a Sales Consultant, had me speak with the financing manager offered her a powertrain warranty for a year Then a week later told I would be able to get the same warranty for two years for the same priceWhen she asked MrQ*** about the benefits of the warranty, he informed her that under the warranty, she would not have to pay for repairs; diagnostic tests would be covered; and she could bring the car to the dealership or an affiliated location for repairs after speaking with the financing manager He did not inform her of any

I would never recommend anyone to buy a car from Jim ShorkeyI set an apt days prior to going in to see a used car they had advertisedWe get there, it takes the salesman min to find the car, then the car has not been serviced yetI test drove the car & then asked about the car not being servicedWell the sales manager Mike comes over to where we were sitting & states how bad he felt that it was not ready, he then circles $& says this would include everythingI had purchased the car on 3/25/but had to leave it there until completed, which should have been done from the beginningI was told I would have my car & the paperwork on 3/29/17/ I got the car but no paperworkI don't get the paperwork till Sat 4/1/17, they had the nerve to charge me $for servicing the carI also see a charge for $for Gap ins, I immediately called of course Mike says he does not remember ever saying he would waiveThen I said I never signed up for any insWell

I recently purchased a vehicle from Jim Shorkey Kia (rushed into the sale) I purchased an extended warranty, maintenance package as well as something called LUXCARE PROTECTION.The LUXCARE supposedly protected the car from any damage exterior and interiorI asked if I wanted this as well for $398, so I said yes, not fully understanding what it was that I was purchasing Two weeks later I ended up trading the car back in because I was very unhappy with it, there was smoke coming out of the ventsWhen the 2nd car dealership called to cancel the "extras" I was told the LUXCARE was non refundable because it was already added to the car I was never told by the salesman that this was the case As well as found out the LUXCARE was $799!!!!!! Completely not what I was quotedSo now I was left to pay for a protection on a car that I didn't own any longer and my complaint was completely dismissed I left a message for the owner, Jim Shorkey III, only to get a return call by the financ

I went to Jim Shorkey KIA, which is an hour away from where I live, to buy a KIA Sportage on 10/28/because my other KIA was totaled in an accidentThe SUV that I purchased was their loaner vehicle for when customers bring their car in for service and had 10,miles on itI paid $19,for the car, $to start the bumper to bumper warranty over at months or 60,miles, plus taxes, registration fees, and other dealer feesI put $6,cash down on the vehicle and ended up financing $on an 84-month payment plan because I wanted lower payments each monthMy total payment came out to be $a month
After I bought the vehicle I noticed that the lights were not bright enough for me at night, it did not have the UVO radio technology that KIA installs in its newer model cars as an option, and there was a big difference in driving from my AWD vehicle to the new car that was only FWDI called KIA to find out if I could update the radio and fog lights as they

Bought a vehicle with an extended warranty at a cost of $Traded the Jeep in a few months later and cancelled the warranty which would entitle me to a nearly full refundThe finance person, John, held the cancellation paperwork for a month to prevent a chargeback on commissionsCalled and left several voicemails with No return call after waiting more than a monthSpoke to the sales manager who assured me the general manager would call me which also never happenedThey will gladly take your money but do nothing to deliver service after the saleTerrible dealership with a bad staffThey will gladly take your money but delay refunding legally owed refundsStay away

Craig S*** straight up lied to my fiancée and me during the purchase of our vehicle in JulyHe told us he would include things in the sale at no cost to us which ended up being a cost to usHe also refused to sell me the model Jeep (the two top package) that I wanted because it would have to be sourced and brought inNot only did he lie, but the finance department neglected to send my paperwork causing me not to have a secured loan for almost days after the initial purchaseI did not check the paperwork, but from what I've researched, they likely switched around the sales figures on the paperwork without my knowledgeThis is the 3rd time, out of vehicles purchased from the dealership, I've had to resign paperworkI almost had a repo order put out on the vehicle before I could even make the first paymentThis is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to dealing with this dealershipAll attempts to work with the dealership were met with resistance or them flat out igno

Do not ever buy a used vehicle from this placeI purchased a used Ford Edge in from the Suzuki DealershipThe salesman name was Michael, prior to purchase I requested a vehicle history reportWhich Michael supplied upon request*** The non-car fax report show no prior accidents on the report which prompted me to agree to buy the vehicleForward to I was discussing with my wife wanting to shop around for a New SubaruWe received a promotional offer from Jim Shorkey to trade in my carI responded to the ad and spoke with a Shawn On 5/21/I stopped into the Jim Shorkey Ford dealership to have my car valuedWhen I spoke with the rep they stated they do not provide appraisals for sale at that location and would need to go up the road to the collision center Here is where the untrustworthy practices beginThe same salesman who sold me the car in also valued my trade with Jim Shorkey collision shop on 5/21/ He stated he is the Manager at this location and then scanned the VIN with his phone and stated oh this car has an accident on this back in He offered for the trade without actually looking at vehicle completely shocked I told him you know you sold me this car rightHe said he didn’t recognize me and that was a long time agoHe then said sometimes reports can take up to days to show up that an accident occurred and that if I wasn’t happy with Jim Shorkey I could go to ** ***How does a company do such things without being responsible for their actions? Perhaps I should have insisted on the Car Fax report and not settle on the report they providedI assumed I could trust them in selling me a car that was worthy of my hard earned moneyNot only did I buy the vehicle at top dollar rate assuming it was what I thought it wasBut now I am stuck with a car with no value that no dealer will touch with a five foot pole

Deceptive sales practices, bait and switch went to dealer being lead to believe they had a vehicle that was on their website and employees did not have just to bIt me into the dealership
Ran my credit no less than times for a vehicleContinues to run it even after I contacted them and requested they stopThis caused my credit score to drop pointsExcessive in the amount of times they ran it which is causing me issues with obtaining further creditNo concern for the consumer and were only more concerned about getting a sale

In June of I purchased a Dodge Ram from the Rout location of Jim Shorkey MitsubisThe warranty (which I will admit I did not read carefully enough) was described to me as a "Under the hood Warranty" Between June and November of I put quarts of oil into the truck So when I took it in for my "Free Oil Change” (11/24/2017) I wanted them to check that out They did not review this issue as I still have it and they never mentioned it again They did however, discover a water leak that the technician insisted needed repaired immediately and the truck was not safe to driveThe warranty refused to cover this repairThey were able to get me a loan for $By sheer coincidence, the repair was the same value as the loan (Power Steering Radiator)
By January I am leaking water again This time the water pump went bad along with a pulley on the engine This also ruined the beltI took it in and once again the answer was, the Warranty Company may not want t

There should be a way to give this business zero stars We leased a Eclipse Cross at the end of May We asked the typical questions on payments, lease options,etc...The sales rep was good enough and tried not to lie too bad (expected) but definitely was just the initial pitch person After agreeing to lease the vehicle another rep entered the picture and tried to see us on coverage for added protection for the vehicle which added up to almost $ We said no and so this guy systematically came back more times to try and explain if we just paid "x" amount a month then it would benefit me in the end I am over with no small children and the previous lease was well under mileage and no interior damage We asked about vehicle registration because they required we get new plates We were promised that the new registration would arrive well before the days had expired By the middle of July 2018, which was days after the purchase, I called the dealership and was assured that it would arrive before the days had expired After the 90th day we had not received the registration and I gave the the benefit of the doubt for another few days When I called the dealership they told me to drive it any ways because it should be there soon NOT HAPPENING! After calling the manager on different days I was promised that someone would call back (didn't happen) Not until I utilized social media did someone call back to tell me that there was a problem with the registration I had to take off of work, drive the car back to the dealer because I was driving an illegal vehicle Initially they didn't want to give me a loaner and then agreed to give me a loaner but didn't want to gas it up I was given a substandard vehicle and told that it would be an additional weeks before I get my registration The reasoning was that it was a lease and they had problems processing the registration I did not mention that the doors were unlocking on their own and that the maintenance department never returned my calls When I emailed the corporate office their response was that since it is an independent dealership their was little to nothing they could actually do I chose this place and will learn from this gross mistake of mine
Please do not buy, lease or utilize this company at all

I purchased a brand new Dodge Journey on 1-28- The vehicle had about miles on itWe currently have about miles and the tires on the vehicle are completely bald and we have kids and was told this was a great vehicle and would do us wonderfulWell my main complain here would be that we have only had the car months and the tires are baldmiles should not make the tires bald...I have contacted the dealer and the Tire Company *** and neither wanna help us out with getting new tires put on here so we can continue to drive it
