Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.

I took approximate measurements of the slope using string and a line level. At ten feet from patio it drops 13.5', at twenty feet it drops 27' and at center of easement drainage it drops 47'! That for sure is "positive" drainage!I requested on two occasions thru [redacted] a meeting with his superiors, [redacted] and [redacted] that never materialized. I finally went to the office to meet Mr. [redacted] who at the time, had no idea who I was, what the issue was and no idea I had requested a meeting that he was to see me the day before. After that meeting Mr. [redacted] tried for a time to get the work promised done, but was shot down. The only communication was the one letter denying any further work. After that I sent an e-mail to Mr. [redacted] and as of today have not received any response from him. The only acceptable solution to this ongoing situation is a meeting and site inspection by superior management from the office in Texas to see what their team in the [redacted] deems proper grading and treatment of home buyers.Thank you[redacted]

The $5,000 refund check was mailed to the buyer on 1/31.

In response to Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] DR Horton will replace driveway and lead walk in a good faith gesture. Homeowner will be notified by warranty technician, [redacted], in order to schedule the repair work.   Thank you,   [redacted] Customer Service...

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Here is our most recent warranty submission. This submission does not include the air unit as it is already pending. Additionally, at 6:10 pm this evening we texted the property manager as the door that was repaired needs replaced and the drywall previously repaired will need to be replaces as well. As while we were inspecting the Trim that was supposed to be repaired today we started finding water on the cement.... sticking our finger behind the gap in the trim parts of the wall began to crumble. It rained heavily last night and there is STILL a leak somewhere in this door. The drywall is wet on the inside the cement under the carpet is wet..... The door needs replaced, re-framed, repaired as this is the second time there has been a leak in this door... Previous repair included mold removal, inspection, drywall replacement, trim replacement. We are still finishing these repairs and the door has leaked again and water is in the wall again. REPAIR LIST SUBMITTED PRIOR TO FINDING THE WATER LEAK IN THE DOOR THIS EVENING ON 02/20/2017 AFTER HEAVY RAIN ON 02/19/20171)Trim carpenter came to home today to replace a the longitudinal portion of trim on the right side of door frame that was cut to short. He did not replace trim. He instead cut a small square and glued it into the trim where it was cut to short. This repair was done improperly and needs re-done.2) Back door has been previously repaired--- Back door latch is getting caught on trim again chipping the trim and leaving a black line where it is scraping as it shuts. Sometimes it sticks when shutting not always. The bottom metal strip on the inside of the house appears to be crooked and needs repaired. IN MY OPINION I believe the frame is crooked or the door is not setting right and needs replaced or repaired. It has been looked at and repaired in a simple manner and we are STILL having problems with it. 3) When painters came to paint the outside of the back door they forgot to paint above the back door so there is an unpainted line across the top that needs repainted. 4) Window sill was damaged during previous repair of the house. The an attempt to repair damage was made by painting the sill. The paint is obvious and streaked because the window sill was sprayed and the damaged area was simply hand painted with a brush. This needs re-done as the correction is obvious and an eyesore. 5) The stair rail has come loose at the top of the stairs. It needs to be attached firmly to the wall. 6) Upon having recent extension work  started on our patio it was brought to our attention that we have several mortar holes throughout the exterior of our home that need repaired. IN ADDITION TO MORTAR HOLE IT WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE SOUTH SIDE OF OUR HOME WHEN THE ROOFERS ATTEMPTED TO ATTACH THE SHINGLES TO THE HOUSE THE NAILS UP THE ENTIRE SIDE NEVER ACTUALLY PENETRATED THE HOUSE BUT RATHER SLID ALONG THE SIDE. THE ENDS OF THESE NAILS ARE EXPOSED AND HAVE SPLIT THE WOOD. THE SHINGLES HERE MOST LIKELY NEED ATTACHED PROPERLY AND SPLIT WOOD NEEDS REPLACED. THE NAILS THAT ARE PENETRATING THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE NEED REMOVED. 7) It was brought to my attention the outside exterior outlet is branched off the same breaker as my living room interior outlet. I was advised this is not how the outlet should be. I would like this checked and repaired. 8) Bubble has appeared in the ceiling of the downstairs powder room. 9) The baseboards are now cracking and separating in the downstairs piano room. 10) The Left bedroom window will not latch.

The HOA manager has attempted twice to reach the customer via the email address provided to request additional information in order for us to further assist. Upon receiving the necessary information, we will be happy to look into this matter.

Per the terms of the signed warranty agreement at the time of closing, the customer's one-year warranty expired in April 2016, which was communicated to the customer via email.

From the customer service manager this morning:  I contacted [redacted] on February 2nd and he conveyed that both he and Praxis are continuing to work on a time that will be amenable to them both.  Praxis has been diligent in their attempts to schedule and our Warranty Department has diligently inquired regarding as much.

We have spoken with the customer and confirmed this is an old complaint and all warrantable items have been addressed.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Originally [redacted] blamed [redacted] / Frontier and now they are blaming [redacted].   I have a 10 year warranty and they need to stand by their 10 year warranty. There are neighbors who also have cracks in their driveway  be aware that I am going to be contacting them and making them aware of how I [redacted] is taking responsibility for shotty concrete work.    I already contacted [redacted] and they are sending an inspector to make a evaluation on this.  I was also made aware the the electrical lines were put in way before I took ownership of the home.
Regards,
Mary Roche

We received the customer's warranty request today and are visiting their home to assess the situation.

This issue has been addressed several times through the Revdex.com, emails and multiple conversations with the homeowner.  As the homeowner has indicated we have offered a solution that would completely remove the drainage swale from her property.  We feel that this is a fair solution for both...

parties and continues to be the only one we will offer since we feel that the swale is beneficial to the community.     Thank you,   [redacted] Customer Service Coordinator [redacted]

While D.R. Horton acknowledges Claimants’ concerns, D.R. Horton follows the requirements of California law with respect to all of our homeowners.  D.R. Horton responded quickly to the call from Claimant on 11/30/2015 pertaining to a leak in her home. During the repair process, on 12/8/2015 Claimants stopped D.R. Horton from performing the remediation/restoration repairs, but later allowed the work to resume on 12/22/2015. Remediation and restoration work was completed on 12/30/2015 per the IICRC guidelines.   Claimants complaint referred to the leak, that was completed on 12/30/2015. The Revdex.com Complaint also refers to the emergency restoration company was in our home for a total of (10) days causing undo expense. As noted in the earlier response to the Revdex.com, D.R. Horton has requested Claimants to provide the electrical statements from [redacted] for November 2015, December 2015 and January 2016 to evaluate the excess amount of electric use for reimbursement. The last Revdex.com complaint item is requesting copies of the mold inspection report. On 1/5/2016, I emailed Claimants copies of the Post Remediation reports and mailed a hard copy. Claimants have convoluted the leak repair matter by involving their insurance company, their attorney and last the Revdex.com. D.R. Horton, as a gesture of goodwill, is offering a one-time courtesy payment of $1,500.00, with a signed release, to resolve this matter.  The electrical expense is included as part of the courtesy offer. The courtesy offer will expire on February 1, 2016.  This is D.R. Horton’s final offer. No further negotiations will be discussed.   Thank you for your time in this matter.
