We have spoken with the homeowner on several occasions within the last week She confirmed that there are no matters on her home requiring repair Her remaining concerns relate to past events – communications during construction process and timing of closing relative to expectations We are unable to change this past issues but have concentrated on addressing current concerns to provide this homeowner with the best customer service and satisfaction possible going forward Thank You, [redacted] Customer Service Manager DR Horton, Birmingham [redacted] ***

D.RHorton will be reviewing the customers unresolved warranty issues that are currently pendingHowever in regards to the customer’s request for additional landscape repairs, the request has been deniedThe items the owner is requesting for the landscape is not covered by warrantyWe have requested discovery items and back up emails or items in writing from any promises from previous employeesThis to date has not been receivedThe customer has signed off all closing paperwork and also has accepted the landscapeD.RHorton will not be revisiting the landscape request as we have advised the customer many times, due to no previous pre-closing back up on verbal promisesWe are not liable for verbal promises or actions and these requests are not covered under the RWC coverage levelWe will make contact with the customer within the next business days to schedule any remaining repairs for true warranty items

The pond next to the resident’s property is in common open space and is being constructed in accordance with the City of Charlotte standardsOur timelines are subject to the City of Charlotte’s review and approval of the pond which is we are currently waiting on The pond work is substantially complete except for the final plantingsWe will install the plants at the appropriate time immediately after the City’s approvalAfter completion, the pond will be maintained by the HOA Hope this helps – have a great weekend! Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] Claiming a rider mower from a lawn service "caused damage" to the swales on the sides of the house and is responsible for drainage issues is a disgenious response, as this is a standard response issued by DR Horton against multiple homeowners in this developmentMore important, my back yard -- WHICH WAS NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL -- also showed unacceptable significant pooling of water which was due to poor grading (which has nothing to do with rider mowers.) Twice DR Horton had surveyors come out to mark my property with orange paint, and twice no further action was ever undertakenI have kept correspondence from [redacted] which acknowledges such a problem, and he promises that I just need to be patient, but "I am on the list" to have it rectifiedHis last statement to me was in this month, May -- of 2015! Please show me how I can forward these emails to youFinally, I filed through DR Horton Home Warranty Protocol my concerns about poor property drainage within the first year of my residenceDue to problems with their grading contractor, they responded, theough [redacted] that this was going "to takeWhile to fix." It seems if DR Horton drags such issues on betond the month warranty, than they no longer feel a reaponsibility for legitimate homeowner concernsPlease tell me how I can send such emails from them which will show they have decided to abandon this issue.thank you[redacted]

We met with this customer on last Thursday I met with an engineer there yesterday to see what he suggest regarding this We will be calling this customer today to let him know what the engineer suggested We are working with this customer to come up with a resolution Thanks [redacted]

Response for Revdex.com: I apologize for any misunderstanding in this transaction with the [redacted] When buyers entered into contract on 4/23/in Reserve at Klein, they signed the contract electronically Once contract is signed electronically, buyer receives the signed contract electronically in their personal email If any buyer ever requests a hard copy, we are more than happy to print one for them When buyers 1st prequalified with [redacted] , they were notified that they would need to enter into [redacted] Homebuyer Credit Assistance (HBC) for days in order to get their credit score up in order to purchase the home they were on contract for After further investigation into their credit situation [redacted] recommended that buyer needed to have more time in the HBC program .could take up to months [redacted] notified buyer of situation Buyer then contacted [redacted] on May 13th, using profanity and screaming on a voicemail message stating they wanted to cancel and wanted their money back At that time [redacted] uploaded the cancellation form that was in turn electronically sent to buyer (please see attached) To date, the termination has not been signedWe prefer buyers signature on cancellation of a legal binding contract Also, per the attached termination form, it states refunds could take up to 6-weeks I’m sorry the agreement did not go as planned We would love the [redacted] ’s to be able to purchase a home from DR Horton and to be happy! I will use this Revdex.com complaint as proof of termination and expedite refund of their earnest money Please let me know if you need anything further from me Director of Sales-North Division

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] has yet to finish doing the repair in my home, they have completed only retouching the sheet rock and painting over the wet spots from the leak however I have had the flooring company come to my home now twice as of today August 18th and based on what my mother has told me they have not replaced any of the flooringI have not received a call from no one from the warranty department giving me an update on to what is going to be done to my floorThe miscommunication is unacceptable and having to have people come to my home on something that should have been taking care of a lot sooner is unfortunate Regards, [redacted]
