Since this date has not come to pass yet, I pray the DR Horton keeps working on my house and we are able to close on 1/20/17. I am rejecting this response...

because: I complained about the Landsaping as soon as I moved after closing on my house. I contacted the Superintendent multiple times and also the sales agent who was housed in the community and they both agreed with the fact that the trees are of very poor condition but it will improve after the winter is over. The Superintendent came to the house physically and he could not assist with more than just saying water the trees, and mention that every house has a budget for Landsaping and that we reached our limit and they can't do more to our Landsaping. we were of course watering frequently but of no value. The oak trees have been dead since we moved and they would not do anything to replace them.I gave up with DR Horton and kept the dead trees in the yard until the HOA took over and they sent me a 30 day notice to replace the dead oak trees, I had no choice but to replace them to avoid having problems with HOA.I have the letter from the HOA and all the documents and pictures to show the dead trees. All the neighbors were talking about the poor quality of the oak trees but they all know that the trees we have in my yard are dead and have been dead since they were installed.

We spoke to the customer last week and as of the morning of April 18, we are awaiting a return call from [redacted] to confirm a date and time that will work for him to inspect his home. We will follow up again today.

I am rejecting this response because:    DR Horton Home builders explanation is not true and is a clever play on words.  My complaint is I have water intrusion coming through the foundation and the concrete block because DR Horton did not seal the foundation properly and as per code. The one wall that I demanded  they sealed based on my original complaint does not have water intrusion any longer since it was repaired according to code. They are refusing to seal the entire east side of the home where the water still continually intrudes. They say if I have another bad water intrusion problem then they would consider putting  sealer where they didn't when they built the house.  They have done absolutely nothing except send someone in to re-nail the severely warped baseboards caused by this water intrusion an will send someone in to re caulk the new nail holes. My water intrusive house is still the same.  DR Horton has done nothing to correct this problem.  I have also been waiting for the replacement of the window screens that they carelessly mutilated when they were last at my home. There are many other DR Horton Homes in my neighborhood that are also being completely ignored for similar problems.  MY PROBLEM STILL EXISTS, DR HORTON HAS DONE NOTHING TO CORRECT THE REAL PROBLEM YET.

Horton, Inc.’s follow up reply to the Revdex.comwith regard to the above-referenced complaint.We are currently in the process of addressing our homeowner’s concerns. We are committed to completethe homeowner’s repairs. Our assigned DR Horton Representative will be present during repairs, everynecessary step has been taken to ensure repairs are complete professionally. The following repairs areschedule to take place next week.? September 8th movers for furniture. Begin demolition of wood floor. Carpet pull for floor pop inupstairs hallway leading to bedroom 3. Carpet stretch in master bath to closet form tile floorrepair. Buffing chips in sink (upper) bath (lower) drywall in master bath? September 9th finish any floor demo needed. Begin laying new floor? September 10th finish laying new floor. Complete inspection of work? Mrs. [redacted] purchased a townhome and closed last month. Post-closing, her and her husband changed out the majority of their flooring to hardwood on the main floor, and also installed their own washing machine on the second floor. The washing machine was not purchased through DR Horton, nor installed...

by DR Horton. Though this is an unfortunate mistake, damages would need to go through their homeowner insurance policy. When they installed their washing machine, they did not connect to the drain line provided and caused flooding to their main level.   Thank you,   [redacted] Construction Area Manager
