I ordered two freezers. One was damaged and therefore not delivered. I have called many times; consuming hours of my time, put on hold always for long periods of time and transferred to another operator and having to repeat the same story going nowhere. Every time I call I get another explanation and the whole experience makes me feel like a hostage. Nearly 700$ of my money is being withheld by sears for an item I have not received despite (after many frustrating phone calls getting me to the point of hysteria) having cancelled my order. So after nearly two months not only do I not have the freezer but I have yet to talk to someone who will process a refund.when I demand to speak to a supervisor I'm put on hold and eventually the call drops. Corporate names for the business have no assigned phone numbers so you keep getting stuck talking to the call Centre. My next step is to call [redacted] and ask if they can retract the charge. Unbelievable. So very unprofessional and amazing that this can still happen. [redacted]. Unreal. They should be ashamed of themselves.I will never purchase or go into a sears again [redacted]

Tried to buy a snowblower online at sears.ca. Took 45 minutes on phone to fix problem with price. Then they overcharged my credit card on the day I bought it, even though it wouldn't be delivered for 10 days. Then they charged the wrong amount! Tried 5 times to get refund for difference. Then they lost the snowblower!!! I gave up and cancelled the order but no refund showed on card. THEN I get an email confirming the cancelled order but saying my card will not be charged... EXCEPT IT WAS!!! And now I can't get a refund!!! [redacted]

[redacted]. The first thing they need to do if fix their phones so when you press 1 for english you don't get someone that talks like they have a mouth full of marbles. You need to get a few lessons from [redacted].ca. [redacted] understands customers and wants to keep them. Another thing they understand is KISS (keep it simple stupid) Sears this Family is totally done with you, hello [redacted].CA

I ordered items online from Sears.ca. 22 business days later, I still don't have the items. This is after multiple calls to their customer service and multiple emails (all of which have gone unanswered). One agent tells me the items are in shipment and I should have them within 8 business days. 9 business days later, I still have not received the items. The next agent tells me they are on back-order. Sears.ca Terms of Use states that Sears will notify customers of any delays. I never received any form of notification. When I asked for them to cancel the order and refund it, they say they can't. I must wait until I receive the items to request a refund! I don't understand that logic at all. I've been chasing my tail for 2 weeks in trying to get this resolved and it's still not. No supervisors are ever available to which I can escalate when I call. Charge back with credit card providers is my next step.

I have ordered a sofa and 2 Recliners. When I ordered it delivery was set for December 31. I contacted Sears the day before and was assured several times that delivery was confirmed and I needed to be available for delivery. I waited all day and the furniture never showed. When I called back there was never a delivery set because my area doesn't have home delivery! Called several times, emailed, sent message on [redacted] no one has contacted me from Sears! When I called today they told me my order is missing and they have no idea where it went.

Before Christmas 2016 I purchased two dresses from Sears catalogue. Both dresses arrived - wrong sizes. I re-ordered and two more came, one of which I kept. On Dec 21/16 I returned three dresses at the local Saint John NB store and was told a credit would appear on my VISA in a week to ten days. Three weeks later, Jan 11/17, I called to inquire where my credit was and was told that under the new system they have to wait until the three dresses are shipped to their Ontario warehouse before my credit is processed and this takes six weeks. So now Sears has my money for three months along with my having to pay my VISA bill to avoid service charges.

Sears has changed from a company that I used to love to shop from to one that I will never order from again. Their shipping rates have become an issue with me. My issue is the advertised free shipping over $99 which applies to nothing. My biggest complaint is that when you place an order online the total appears and asks you to submit order. Once submitting the order, within the hour I received an email with an additional $74.95 shipping fee. I did not confirm this charge nor did I want the item if I had to spend that much on shipping charges. These charges should have been Indicated before I submitted confirmation for my order, not slipped in afterwards. Had I not checked my email so quickly and the order was already processed I would have been charged the extra $74.95. I feel like I am being scammed when ordering from Sears in that the shipping charges are not indicated up front and are added to the charge after. I called immediately to cancel the order and the rep said she would probably not be able to override the system and she could cancel the shipping of the item but not the charge I would receive. It all seems very strange and scam-like to me. Definitely not a positive experience and I would not recommend anyone order online from Sears.

Completely unacceptable service from such a historic company. Have purchased many items from Sears over the years but something has drastically changed as far as customer service is concerned. I ordered a washer & dryer by phone November 28th 2016. I was assured they would be delivered December 6th and that the delivery people would contact me prior to the delivery. I did not hear anything either by phone or email by Dec 5th so I called to confirm. After waiting a total of 30 minutes on hold someone confirmed that the delivery would take place as promised. I had my sister take a day off work to accept the delivery. Waited all day and there was no delivery or any communication from Sears. Finally got through again on Dec 7th and was told that everything looked good and we should be hearing something soon. My sister took another day off work on the 7th and still no communication what so ever. It is now December 12th. I have called several times-each time waiting on hold and I still don't know where my order is. This has been the most frustrating purchase experience I have ever had. All I get when I finally get through on the phone is apologies which don't even sound sincere-they sound like they are being read. I am at my whits end. I don't know where else to turn. I think I would have gotten much better service if I ordered from a smaller outfit.

I have had such bad experience dealing with Sears. First of all, I ordered a treadmill from them in October 2014. After three weeks of using it, it totally broke. The motor wasn't working properly. Not what I expected for such an expensive machine! I called them and was put on hold for 1.5 hours only to be told that it wasn't their problem and I would have to call the manufacturer. It was very frustrating to say the least. Here I am three months later still with a broken treadmill. Then in December I decided to buy a new tv from Sears since it was on sale. I ordered it in December with an estimated delivery of January 14. Of course they promptly took payment from my credit card with no further communication. I called the customer service centre today asking if my tv would in for pick up since I had my heard anything from them. Of course the rep said it has not been shipped yet and she doesn't know when it will be shipped. When I asked for an estimated time for arrival she said she had no idea, the only thing she knows is that it hasn't left the distribution warehouse and to call back in ten business days if it hasn't arrived. I am beyond annoyed with this company and their poor customer service. I won't be buying anything else from them.

Hello, I'd like to express my dissapointment in this company. For years I and my mother could rely on Sears to send us an annual catalogue. We may not have been frequent customers, but when we needed something we knew we could rely on picking up a catalogue. Now , we have to call to request a delivery of a catalogue. Which is what I just did , and was told that the Spring and summer catalogue wasn't yet available. Its always been available by now. And I had to wait 25 min in order to just find this out. Waste of time. With all the competition out there, a better job at reaching out and customer service is expected.

on Dec 5th 2016 I placed an order for a desk it said I would receive it Dec 15 2016 I went to get it at sears to be told there was nothing there for me so I called the customer service number and was on hold for 3,5 hrs listening to some stupid music and noone answered my call I had to hang up because my cell phone died.So next day I tried again another 2 hrs same thing so then I went to the store to be told even by a manager they have no accsess to online orders anymore that I need to wait for [redacted] to send me a tracking number this is crazy now on Dec 19 at 9 pm I fianaly get thur there stupid customer service line to be told they do not even stock the item anymore and have no idea why its still on the website.So they offer a refund and said it will show uo next day and yup you guessed it no refund now its the 20th of Dec and I tried again the customer service number and again over 2 hrs on phone noone answers .I already ordered the desk from [redacted] online it was the exact same desk and manufacture for 100.00 dollars cheeper [redacted]!!! and even getting it home delivered I ordered it on Dec 18th and it comes today Dec 20 and I can even track it great service [redacted] !!!! I then tried to call the head office number and it goes straight to the so called customer service departmen t and yup on hold again another hour I have given up with the phone numbers today I am going to my bank to get the charges reveresed [redacted] SEARS to take a customers money and not even stock the item online . I have checked again and it still says this item is avaiable Bull it is Sears needs to close its doors for good and [redacted] and taking money and not delivering the product or answering the phones .Now I am on the way to the bank Thanks for causing me all this grief sears great job screwing with your customers.[redacted]

I have a terrible experience with Sears on line ordering...I see where others have had the same experience with "credit card" not being able to use it...just every excuse in the book why it isn't valid...they told me to call the bank which I did, they said it was perfectly fine and he couldn't see where they even tried to use it....After all this I get an email saying "order cancelled" with all do respect the problem is not mine it is SEARS and like the other people they will not tell the truth it is "in the system" . I used my credit card the day before with their competitors and the parcel arrived in 2 days..[redacted]....I am waiting after 5 phone calls to see the outcome of this experience, [redacted]...

Worst customer service ever. Got laughed at when I asked where my purchase was and they couldn't tell me. I asked for a refund since it has been so long waiting. I will never buy from sears again. Still waiting on a refund

This was my first order from Sears and it will be my last.

Placed my order online on December 8th for a crib mattress. Estimated delivery was December 22nd. The website promoted free shipping. I intended to use a gift card for $50 and a coupon code for $20 off. I submitted my order and did not receive any notification that the gift card was not entered correctly or any notification that there would be additional shipping charges.

TWO days later I get an email with the total for my order. I was charged extra for shipping and my gift card was not applied. I was charged $70 more then expected! Why the *explicative deleted* was I not given the proper order total when checking out!

I called customer service. There was "nothing they could do" to apply my gift card to my current order! They said they could cancel my order, and apply the gift card to a new order, BUT it would not arrive in time for Christmas and I would not be able to use the coupon code (because it could only be used once per customer, even if I cancel the order, and there was "nothing they could do"). They kept me on the phone, I could barely understand their poor English, for 38 minutes! Nobody in this obviously outsourced call centre seemed to be able to actually provide any sort of service to customers without putting them on hold.

I decided to forgo re-ordering and suck up the $70 I did not expect to pay, because I needed this order before Christmas.

January 3rd and NOTHING HAS ARRIVED. I followed the link on their website and submitted an email inquiry into my order. No reply.

January 6th. Still no email reply. Called customer service again. Again no help. All they could tell me is that the order had left the warehouse and they do not know when it will arrive. When I asked to cancel my order, I was told that I would not be refunded the $20 (which I did not expect to pay in the first place as their website advertised free shipping) for shipping. Even though I have not received my order. Even though my order did not show up when expected.

So here I sit. Annoyed, with no mattress for my baby.

I placed 3 different on-line orders which arrived promptly. Had to return several items which I did and now over a month later am still waiting for reimbursement on my charge card. Have sent several e-mails and made numerous phone calls, but no one can help me trace my order. Don't know who to contact to investigate my missing returns.

Of the past four orders that I have placed with Sears, only one has arriaved when promised. They won't allow the customer to cancel the order even when it is already late. Mthey are unable to give a correct date for the rescheduled delivery. They won't refund delivery fees when the miss their own deadlines. [redacted] They couldn't even give me a correct shipping tracking number for [redacted] with whom my packages were shipped. Terrible!

Sears has yet to fully refund me for an order I cancelled almost three months ago!! I was promised a full refund for an order I never received but was charged for, yet I am still waiting for a good portion of the money I spent. They apologized for the glitch in the online system that caused my credit card to be charged even when my order never actually went through. I really want to warn people that this could happen to them - do not order online from Sears if you want to be assured your money won't be held by them for months in case you need to cancel your order (due to never receiving the products, no product available, or other reason). They made $ in interest off my money and caused me hours of frustration on phone calls, botch ups in the refunding (the initial refund was a minute fraction - thank goodness I checked my bank statement!) etc.... :(

I orders a quality mattress sleep set on February 27 for $150 [redacted]. I was called Saturday by an associate who quickly moved fluidly from 'we have to cancel your order' to 'BUT we have an exclusive offer just for you!'. The offer was one of three choices of lesser brand mattresses starting at ~$900 [redacted],

Long story short, Sears did not have stock of the sleep set I purchased (and hasn't for years now as per the phone rep.) and doesn't have plans on restocking the item or fulfilling my original order. [redacted]

Purchase a snow blower on line, in order to makes thing more efficient, They took the money from the credit card within seconds of the translation. We were promise the product on the 17 of December and then again on the 23, by a supervisor, only to be fooled again and promised on the 03 of Jan 2017, when called Sears, requesting if we could go and pick-it-up at one of the Sears stores, we were told NO we just have to wait for it. Then I asked if he can give me something with the same value, or higher and pick it up, that still was not acceptable., a manager of a place hanging up the phone on you...Called several times and no matter where you call even as shown in Canada, example (XXX) XXX-XXXX headquarters of Canada Inc. XXX-XXX [redacted] St. Toronto, On [redacted] is actually in the Philipes now were close to Toronto.
