Review: I received 2 letters a few days ago stating that I owed a very large sum of money to [redacted].I called [redacted] and they told me I had a 0 balance on the account and I have never been late or behind on my payments according to their records.I called this company and they kept giving me the run around. They said I owed the money.I don't know what else to do.I double checked with [redacted] again and they once again stated I'm a very good customer and don't know why this company sent me those letters.The collection company is not willing to try to help. Review: I have received several phone calls and a letter in the mail stating that I owe money and equipment charges for a old [redacted] cable bill. I have made several phone calls to Eastern to clear up this issue and every time I call someone nasty answers the phone and states I owe the money for both equipment and service charges. Review: There is an account listed on my credit report as a collection with this firm. I suspect it is a [redacted] account that assumes the equipment was not returned. The equipment was returned to [redacted] with final payment on 4/11/14 as we sold my vacation home where the [redacted] service was instituted. I was never late with payment nor with returning the equipment all of which I was in contact with [redacted] the entire time on the return of the equipment due to it being a vacation rental. This is not a valid debt, and I cannot get anyone on the phone at Eastern Account Systems nor was I provided and detail of this debt in writing.Desired Settlement: Removal of false debt from my credit report.

Review: After reviewing my credit report I've seen 2 collection postings with Eastern Account Systems for a [redacted]. That was already paid.

I was in the hospital as of August 2012 and didnt recover until February 2013. My account with [redacted] was shut off between that time period but I was on long term disability and made payments/arrangements with [redacted] to pay off my balance. By March 2013 my [redacted] account was paid off and I began a new account with [redacted] that same month. When I reviewed my credit report in April 2013 I saw Eastern Account has posted 2 collection accounts for [redacted]. One in the amount of $1113 and the other in the amount of $500. I have tried contacting Eastern account systems several times and they never pick up the phone -they have an answering machine and never return phone calls. I've written a letter and still haven't seen a response or change to my credit report. The 2 collections account should not be on my report and I would like for them to remove both of them asap. I've even contacted to [redacted] to try to reach them to remove the collections from my report.Desired Settlement: I am seeking for them to contact [redacted] to verify the miscommunication and remove both the collections off my account. I really dont understand how I can have 2 accounts in collections when I've had the (1) same account with [redacted] for the past 6years.

The reason the accounts are listed is because the payments didn't start until after 90 days of delinquency. In light of learning of Ms. *'[redacted]'s hospital stay and subsequent payments, we will send for removal from her credit file. Please allow approximately 4-5 weeks for removal to show. Review: This agency is located on my Credit report for a collection placed by [redacted]. I have never had [redacted] nor have I ever authorized [redacted] to run my credit so anyone could get credit under my name..But yet it located on my credit report. I went through serveral dispute processes with [redacted] and it just keeps coming back as verified as well as contacted [redacted] and the collection agency to try to get this issue solve during my process I found out my account the address that it was attached to, the name on the account , as well as that my SSN was not the one [redacted] had. Second this was not even a choice by you guys with was while I contacted [redacted] in which then they said they open an investigation which could take 90 or more days .. Review: EASTERN ACCOUNT SYSTEM is attempting to collect on an account that was created fraudulently. I have requested validation of the debt, but no response. The account number is [redacted]. The only time I have had services with [redacted] is when I was an employee of the company. As an employee of the company, we received free service. My equipment was turned in with my badge on my last day of work when I quit. There was no way I could have incurred charges. Also the time period that it is say the charges were incurred, I live in 2 hours away from [redacted] in an area that doesn't offer [redacted] service. There were a couple of other collection accounts that appeared on my credit profile from that same time period and have since been removed because they were proven to be fraud. I wish to have this information removed from my credit profile.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the collection account removed from my credit profiles as it is a fraudulent account.

Review: I received a call from this company representing it as a "pre-collection process call" indicating an amount past due for a cable bill on February 4th or 5th of 2015. I told them the bill had already been paid and that the check had cleared the bank. I also informed them that this better not be reported to any credit reporting agency as I have never been late with any payment to this company. I closed the account with the cable company on 1-10-15, received a bill about ten days later and paid the bill on 2/2/15 there is no way this ever went to collection! To my horror I received a letter from Eastern Account System of Connecticut Inc on Monday February 9, 2015 dated February 4, 2015 indicating my account from the cable company had been placed with their office for collection. Account number was correct and the amount they were looking for was correct, the only problem is the bill was already paid. I called the cable company only to find out that they had never sent my account to anyone for collections, that the account was showing paid in full and that I had never been late with any payment with them. In fact, the cable company further confirmed that they don't even use this company for collection purposes. However Eastern Account System of Connecticut Inc are obtaining this type of information is criminal in nature and they should be put out of business. When I tried to reach Eastern Account System of Connecticut Inc I got a vague voice mail box that did not even identify the company I was reaching - these operating procedures are despicable!Desired Settlement: I want written confirmation that this issue has not been reported to any credit reporting agency from them. And if they have reported it, they need to take the steps necessary to remove it immediately since it is a bogus collection attempt by unscrupulous means and then confirm it in writing to me.

I received no validation, just a copy of the last statement from [redacted]. Just because [redacted] sent that statement does not mean it is accurate. Also, I have provided both [redacted] and this collection agency with a copy of the receipt from returning the equipment, but the letters and calls kept coming.

This collection agency also reported me as delinquent with the credit reporting agencies, even though I was not afforded a 30 day response and even though I have disputed this alleged debt repeatedly. I would like all negative information removed.

Review: I got a letter from Eastern Account saying they were going to list a debt on my credit report. This is in regards to equipment from [redacted] that I returned more than a year back and started using my own equipment. I have called [redacted] multiple times and they have confirmed I do not owe them any money. [redacted] also confirmed that they have the record of the equipment being returned. Thereafter I have called Eastern Account multiple times and left voice mails. The couple of time I was able to speak to the support executives, I got conflicting answers. On 9th Dec, the Eastern support executive informed me, that Eastern will contact [redacted] and get the details in a week. When I called them again on 16th Dec to get an update, I was told that there has been no communication between [redacted] and Eastern regarding the Equipment Debt. I was told that I need to get in touch with [redacted] and pursue the matter with them. Once [redacted] informs Eastern, it will take 30 days to update the records. Thus I feel that my issue is not being being resolved as expected and I am being made to contact both agencies. This can be easily resolved through proper communication between Eastern and [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like Eastern Account to check with [redacted] regarding the Equipment Return and quickly remove the Debt from the records and inform me accordingly. I do not want this in any way to impact my Credit.

Review: I noticed this (Eastern Account Systems) account in my credit report in Oct 2012 which is when I took my credit report to look at my credit score, the status in Oct 2012 is "No Data", before that it was "KD" n Dec 2010. Due to this negative record, my credit score is reduced by 50 points. I immediately called collection agency (eastern account system) about the collection report, they said there is no balance on the account so they updated the account as paid and closed in Oct 2012, please note I did not pay any thing to them or [redacted] is the originator for collection agency) in Oct 2012. But this account exist in the credit report from Dec 2010 to Nov 2012, the status was updated in Nov 2012 which is when I called for inquiry. I did not pay any thing to Eastern agency, they said there is some mistake and they will update the credit bureau within 30 days. Based on credit report it was updated in Nov 2012 as paid and closed.Here are the series of events:I never received any notice from Eastern Account systems collection agency or [redacted] about me pending balance.I paid of my balance to [redacted] in Nov 6 2010, I confirmed this with [redacted]. Eastern account system reported to [redacted] credit bureau in Dec 2010. (as per credit report it is "KD" in Dec 2010).The account exist on Credit report from Dec 2010 to Nov 2012, even though I paid the balance in Nov 6 2010.I realized this only when I looked at my credit report in Oct 2012. I called up for inquiry in Oct 2012 they have closed the account saying it is a mistake.I contacted several times and requested several times to remove this account from collection agency as there is no balance on my name. They refused to remove the account. I have contacted [redacted] several times to help this issue fixed but there is no luck. The collection account is still showing in my credit report which ultimately has negative impact on my credit history and reduced my score by 50 points. Review: This company reported a collection on my credit report on behalf of [redacted] cable. I contacted them in regards to the issue and they had no information on the matter. The customer service rep was rude and hung up on me. I called [redacted] and they were able to see this was a mistake on their behalf. They noted my account and told me they would contact eastern accounts with there findings. I've since then written Eastern Accounts to have them remove the entry from my credit report. Review: this business is showing up on my credit report as a Comcast collection account. I have disputed the charges totaling $916. I requested an invoice I was tould they could not provide it and I should send payment asap. I switched from direct tv to Comcast and was never informed of a past due bill. I was unable to reach a resolution for proper crediting of my account with [redacted] directly and they sent me account to Eastern Account collection. Although I never officially owed this balance to them as they did not provide the services they charged for, I decided to pay them directly for the full amount they claimed I owed. I am furious that Eastern Accounts is showing as a collection account on all 3 credit reports as I did not owe that balance, and ended up paying the original creditor as a good will effort.Desired Settlement: I would like this all credit reporting from Eastern Collections to be removed from all 3 credit reporting agencies' reports. I am being subject to unlawful and unethical collection processes. The [redacted] account has been paid in full directly to them, no payment was made to the collection agency. Thank you.

Review: When I was living in [redacted] in 2011, I had an account with [redacted]. However, once I knew I was moving back to [redacted], I cancelled the service and gave back all of the equipment and found out that I did not owe any further funds at that time. They never provided me with a final bill after I provided an updated address to send it to, so I figured there were no further charges. However, 3 years later I receive a call from this debt collector saying I owe money to [redacted] for failing to give back the equipment. I called [redacted] and resolved the issue, they said they did and that the collection agency (Eastern Account System) should stop pestering me. However, one and off now for the next year they keep calling asking for money when [redacted] says I do not owe money and it was an issue on their end. They will not wipe this from their end and keep telling me to contact [redacted], when [redacted] tells me that it was handled and Eastern Account should stop calling to ask for money. This is ruining my credit and they have no mercy. refuse to give me information and will not forgive the amount even after [redacted] says that there is no more money owed., which is an obscene amount, over $1,500.Desired Settlement: One, I would like for them to stop calling me about this money owed, when it;s been over 4 years since the service was cancelled and no money is owed - after [redacted] said so. I also want them to forgive the charges because I should not have to pay an obscene amount of money (over $1,500) for an issue on [redacted]'s part not mine. I want this to please be resolved as quickly and amicably as possible.

Review: Eastern Account System (EAS, hereafter) is reporting multiple accounts on my report relating to [redacted] Service. EAS reports 2 accounts from 2012 (1 account for equipment[$194], and 1 account for service[$280]), and 1 from 2014 for $150 for equipment. I believe they create 2 accounts to further damage a customer's credit, but I digress. I returned some of the equipment for the 2012 account on 12/17/13, and the rest on 8/12/14. EAS is reporting this account as "Paid," which is incorrect because I never paid them anything - I returned everything to [redacted].

On 9/13/14, I returned the equipment for the 2014 account. EAS is reporting this as still past due with a balance of $20. [redacted] confirmed they received all the equipment for this account, so there is nothing owe. Again, nothing paid - everything just returned.

In regards to the 2012 balance ($280), [redacted] agreed to credit that account in full once I returned the equipment for the 2014 account. As stated, I did that on 9/13/14, and [redacted] confirmed that they credited my 2012 account for the $280 - again, nothing paid, just credited so nothing owed. EAS is still reporting this as past due with a balance of $280.

[redacted] also stated that they notified EAS on 9/15, who would send me a confirmation letter that I'd receive within 10-14 days. As of today (11/5) I received no letter, but given the lack of letters on this accounts previously, I am not surprised. I believe [redacted] did inform EAS of the terms and payment, since they did update the one account to Paid. [redacted] was following up with this matter regarding a letter.

Eastern Account Systems is deliberately reporting incorrectly to mess up my credit. There are at least 3 errors in there reporting:

1) 2012 account for $194 being marked paid, when nothing was paid.

2)2012 account for $280 reporting a balance of $280 when the entire amount was credited by [redacted].

3) 2014 account for $150 reporting a balance of $20, when all the equipment was returned.

Another issue I have is EAS splitting a single collection account into an equipment and a service account to further damage a person's credit. Since EAS has no interest and had no dealing with these account, as it has been handled directly with [redacted], and nothing was paid to EAS or [redacted], they should not be reporting any accounts on my credit reports.Desired Settlement: Since all of my accounts have been handled directly with [redacted], and Eastern Account System is clearly violating federal law by reporting incorrect data, and they are not a party to this account any longer since nothing was paid and no collections exist, I would like all 3 accounts removed from my credit reports.

They were showing a past due for equipment which I returned and they updated the account status to "Paid" when in fact [redacted] recalled the debt from them. Since Eastern Account Systems had no interest and had no dealing with these accounts, as it has been handled directly with [redacted], and nothing was paid to Eastern Account Systems, they should not be reporting any accounts on my credit reports.Desired Settlement: For Eastern Account Systems to delete their collections record from all 3 credit reporting agencies [redacted], and [redacted].

Review: I am not sure how they got my phone number.I am tried of getting phone calls from this number, ###-###-####.I have told them more than once to stop calling my phone number and they keep calling.I am filling a complaint with the Federal Government against this company as my number is on the DOT NOT CALL LIST.Desired Settlement: Every time I get a call from this company asking for someone named Ricardo.I am serious about NOT being bothered by this company ever again.And they do not listen to me when I tell them to STOP CALLING MY PHONE NUMBER.

Review: This company withdrew money from my checking account and acknowledged their error. This withdrawal causes various overdrafts fees to my account and they refuse to return the money taken and reimburse the fees. They have a recording of the call made to their call center and admit to making the mistake of prematurely withdrawing money from my account.Desired Settlement: I would like for the payment to be reversed and reimbursed for ALL fees.
