The business is refusing to take any responsibility for any wrongdoing and misrepresentations during the process of our move from California to Texas. They first told me that the cost of the move was determined by the amount of boxes that we placed in the moving truckThey told me that I could have up to boxes in the truck before any new fees would be accessed. I packed only boxes that should have been placed on the truck, well under the maximum limit of boxes. Secondly, they placed a dresser in the truck that was large and bulky that we did not intend on moving nor did I want to be placed on the truck. It was an old broken dresser that I wanted to have thrown away. Lastly, when they showed up to the apartment, their subcontractors that they hired switched the original terms of the agreement by stating that the cost of the move would be determined based on square feet. I had my mother there only to allow the men into the house in order to take our things and place them on our truck since they were three days late and never showed up on the day they were supposed toWe were no longer in the state at the time of the move. The subcontractors took advantage of the situation and forced our mother to sign a contract without giving her an actual quote. When they did provide the quote, which we were told over the phone of the new price, we decided to decline their services because it was double the cost of the original quote of dollars. I would really like to have our property back and would really like that the original quote of dollars be honored. This whole issue has become a huge headache for my family. We would also like the Revdex.com to further investigate the practices of this company and the subcontracting company. It does not seem to be a common practice of the moving business to base quotes on square feet or boxes. The fact that they disregard the offer that was originally made is also a very sneaky way of conducting business by providing new cost at the time when the business arrives to house after they have already provided a quote that they claim they would not go over. In the end we detrimentally relied on their original quote over the phone that they misrepresented at the time of the move. We have also been denied access to see our bill of the original quote on the company's website. Please honor the original quote of dollars.We would just really like the business to honor their original quote of dollars

In addition, although they say they have no record of my calling - I have two emails dated Thursday, 9/**/stating no one had called me to provide the final time of my move and the company they had said would be moving me on Friday was out of business. So, the fact that there is no record of my trying to contact them is simply untrueThe cancellation policy does not apply since the company did not communicate with me and did not show up at the day and time they had said movers would be at my home. In addition, when they finally did call me - they would not release the name of the company they said would now supposedly be moving me - and stated they were closing their office for the day and I could not speak to anyone else.The business practices are unconscionable. I reject their response

I signed an electronic payment agreement of $on January *** with Bryan G***He assured me that this was the final priceIn order to book the reservation, I paid $(which I was told would be put towards the $1589.76) during this transaction on January ***At that time, I had a remaining balance of $($- $500)At the time of pick up on January *** I was told I needed to pay half of the remaining balance, so I paid $This left a remaining balance of $However, at the end of this pick up the movers charged me an extra $for packingThis was a surprise to me, since MrG*** told me my signed agreement would not be exceeded at pick upAt pick up, I was charged an additional $I didn't argue the price with the movers, because at this point I wanted all of my belongings to finally be in my possessionSo, I indeed did pay a total of $If Apollo is not an actual moving company their employees should not be allowed to tell customers that prices are "final" and they should also not say "3-business days" for deliveryI agreed to a delivery date of January ***, not February ***In addition, they should make customers aware that they are brokers, and that a 2nd party moving company will be taking over after the reservation is bookedI have read numerous reviews regarding these issues with ApolloI am clearly not the only customer who has been misinformed and have unfortunately had a bad experienceIt's unfortunate that Apollo still does not acknowledge these issues with their response to my complaintI do not want anyone else to go through the same experience I dealt with. I have attached one of the pictures I took when my belongings were deliveredMany of my boxes looked like this- completely damagedWith the combination of poor customer service, damaged goods, and paying more than I agreed to, I feel like Apollo and the movers did not deliver the service that was sold to me.

We apologize if our service failed to meet the clients expectationsWe gave her a good faith estimate over the phone however on move day they had additional items and packing services needed that reflected on the revised price which the client was given and signed agreeing to prior to loading of
the truckAlso regarding the delivery while we strive to arrange delievry timeframes per the clients request by regulatory statutes and per the Bill of Laden contract there is an alloted days to delievr prior to the company being considered " late"We will continue to assist the client as best we can

We apologize that the use of a shuttle truck was needed but it is disclosed on the contract signed by the client that if a shuttle is needed they are responsible for payment of those services and it also discloses on the paperwork that final delivery payment is due by postal money order only

The client received an estimate based on the inventory they stated they were movingWhile padded blankets are included in the quote it clearly states glass items and fragile items must be packed properly for transport and that the client will be billed for any materials used which is the case here
Also the estimate allotted for a certain amount of space or cubic footage and that is what was reserved on the truck for the clientUnfortunately the client used all the reserved space and then some and there was no more available space on the truckFurthermore the carrier would have picked up the items left over however the client refused to pay for the additional pick up of the items that could not fit on the first truck so that is why the left over goods where not transportedWe would happily arrange to have those items picked up and will work with the client on the rate however the carrier cannot do the additional service for free
