Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The business is refusing to take any responsibility for any wrongdoing and misrepresentations during the process of our move from California to Texas They first told me that the cost of the move was determined by the amount of boxes that we placed in the moving truckThey told me that I could have up to boxes in the truck before any new fees would be accessed I packed only boxes that should have been placed on the truck, well under the maximum limit of boxes Secondly, they placed a dresser in the truck that was large and bulky that we did not intend on moving nor did I want to be placed on the truck It was an old broken dresser that I wanted to have thrown away Lastly, when they showed up to the apartment, their subcontractors that they hired switched the original terms of the agreement by stating that the cost of the move would be determined based on square feet I had my mother there only to allow the men into the house in order to take our things and place them on our truck since they were three days late and never showed up on the day they were supposed toWe were no longer in the state at the time of the move The subcontractors took advantage of the situation and forced our mother to sign a contract without giving her an actual quote When they did provide the quote, which we were told over the phone of the new price, we decided to decline their services because it was double the cost of the original quote of dollars I would really like to have our property back and would really like that the original quote of dollars be honored This whole issue has become a huge headache for my family We would also like the Revdex.com to further investigate the practices of this company and the subcontracting company It does not seem to be a common practice of the moving business to base quotes on square feet or boxes The fact that they disregard the offer that was originally made is also a very sneaky way of conducting business by providing new cost at the time when the business arrives to house after they have already provided a quote that they claim they would not go over In the end we detrimentally relied on their original quote over the phone that they misrepresented at the time of the move We have also been denied access to see our bill of the original quote on the company's websitePlease honor the original quote of dollars.We would just really like the business to honor their original quote of dollars [Your Answer Her In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

We provided the client a not to exceed estimate based on a particular inventory.On move day the client had additional pieces and some pieces that were larger than first indicatedThe quote was based on cubic feet and the client was explained they had to pay for additional cubic feet at the rate quoted we did honor the quote we did not violate the contract and we did provide the service unfortunately with long-distance moves some damages can occur if the furniture is pressed wood which it was however the client will be reimbursed through their included moving insurance

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I have called the number and they told me to file a complaint which I have done times....was told someone would reach out to me with a claim number which they have never doneThe carriers said they delivered everything and that is a lieThe trucking company was Sammy's located in Fort Lauderdale...I sent he invoice to you yesterday along with the supervisors number at Apollo who arranged the moveThe following is a list of missing itemsCoin collection over years old...my husband is and it was his grandmothersA stamp collection also my husband's grandmotherssuits and coat jackets...there were in the box and only two were left and box was rewrappedA four foot stuffed animal with a Mexican sombrero this was a gift for our grandson...the hat arrived but no stuffed animalA Chinesse tapestry give to us from my daughter from Epcotdo not care what the carriers say ...these items are not among the things we shipped.....the expensive things are missing only other hings we shipped were old books....someone knew exactly what to take .don't know how to put a value on these things but coin and stamp collections are worth thousand...the tapestry was $and the stuffed animal was a sentiment item that has been in the family....I cannot deal with this anymore....did what I was toldMy word against the carrier, I guess...we are law biding citizens that entered into a contract with good faith and feel we have been scammed[redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***
