I have asked Edward Jones for certain tax documents from that my tax accountant needs to prepare my mother's taxes for She is incapacitated and has not filed her taxes since then I have asked since January and have received nothing to date, nor do they respond
It is interesting that Edward Jones has an A+ rating on your website, but on Consumer Reports they have just star.*** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***

I have been attempting unsuccessfully to receive verification I did not receive a paycheck on 02/12/or 02/19/from *** *** in the account number ending in #*** (*** *** ** ***) I am also seeking the verification that the account numbers similar to mine but ending in #and #do not belong to me and did not receive deposits from *** *** The company, *** ***, is seeking this information as proof so they can reissue my paychecks I have spoken to several people at the headquarters and the local branch and I am not getting any where The burden of proof is on me as my financial institution, they have been, unwilling and uncooperative in providing this information

Edward Jones held a stock certificate for *** *** *** for me in an IRA account for approximately yearsEarlier this year they told me they could no longer hold the stock certificate and mailed it to me, affixing a value of $78,to the certificate and reporting this amount to the IRSThe amount they assigned was the original amount of the shares when the stock certificate was given to them
No cash was received by me and the value of certificate may be I had previously asked the Edward Jones Financial Advisor to sell the stock for whatever the value and they refused nor did they attempt to find the true value of the stock before returning the certificate and assigning the monetary value
I have spoken to a tax lawyer and unfortunately I have no recourse unless they amend the stock issue statement and assign a realistic value which at the current time may be I am willing to pay taxes on any money I receive for this stock

I am rejecting this response because: the corporate office sent this to the local office who has failed to provide the required documentation. In order to prove I did not receive the funds as stated in my complaint. I am have requested over, almost two month period, a letter on Edward Jones letterhead stating I never received any payroll funds from *** *** on 02/12/or 02/19/in my *** *** ** *** account. So this matter will go into a third month as an unfulfilled request from Edward Jones. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter.
