Review: THIS COLLECTION AGENCY IS REPORTING AN INCORRECT ACCOUNT/DEBT TO THE 3 MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS. I HAVE COMPLIED WITH THEIR REQUEST TO FAX MY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO VALIDATE MY IDENTITY AND TO CLARIFY AND REMOVE THIS COLLECTION FROM MY CREDIT REPORT AS I AM TRYING TO PURCHASE A HOME AND CANNOT CLOSE ESCROW DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I KEEP CALLING AND FOLLOWING UP, WITH DIFFERENT RESPONSES EVERY TIME ( I.E WE ARE WROKING ON IT, WE WILL FAX YOU SOMETHING, ETC) THEY KEEP TRANSFERING ME AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO NOT RESPOND OR REPAIR THIS MISATEK AS IS AFFECTING ME AND MY FAMILY. I AM ASKING FROM A LETTER FROM THEM WHERE THEY CAN VERIFY THAT THIS DEBT IS NOT MINE AND DOES NOT BELONG IN MY CREDIT REPORT. AND TO FORWARD THE SAME TO THE 3 MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS TO CLEAR MY CREDIT REPORT. I NEED SOMETHING IN WRIRTING AS THEIR WORK OR WORING ON IT EXPRASSION IS NOT ENOUGH AND UNACCEPTABLE.Desired Settlement: I AM ASKING FOR A LETTER, I NEED SOMEHTING I WRITING SAYING IT IS NOT DEBT AND WILL BE CLEARED OR REMOVED FROM MY NAME/SSN.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I DO HAVE THIS COLLECTION AGENCY REPORTING THIS DEBT IN MY CREDIT REPORT AS COLLECTIONS. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT MAY EVEN BE A MISTAKE ON THEIR END BECAUSE MY NAME IS SO COMMON.

NOW I DO HAVE COPIES OF ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND IDENTIY, INCLUDING POLICE REPORT WHICH I FAXED ON LAST MONTH MAY 16TH ,2013 TO BE EXACT. THIS FAX # THEY PROVIDED WHICH WAS 866-269-8669. I CAN PROVIDE COPIES AGAIN. SO THEY CAN MOVE FORWARD AND FURTHER INVESTIGATE AND DO THEIR JOB PROPERTLY.

IN THE ATTACHEMNTS YOU WILL FIND ALL THE DOCUMENTS I FAXED AND TRANSMITAL , I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO VERIFY AND PROVE MY IDENTITY.

IT SEEMS LIKE THEY AVE A BETTER RESPONSIVENESS TO YOU . I REALLY APPRECIATTE ALL YOUR TIME AND HELP IN REGARDS OF THIS IMPORTANT MATTER TO ME.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I HAVE RECEIVED & REVIEWED THE LETTER NCO PROVIDED AND I WILL FORWARD THAT TO THE 3 MAJOR CREDIT BUREAUS MYSELF. BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW THEIR COLLECTIONS NUMBER (WHICH IS # [redacted]) ONLY THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR ([redacted]) AND MY CURRENT ADDRESS, SO THEY CREDIT BUREAUS CAN REFFER TO IT. I NEED THEM TO INCLUDE THAT AS WELL.

AND UNFORTUNATELLY THEIR RESPONSE WAS NO AS FAST, IN ORDER TO CLOSE ESCROW ON MY HOME I HAD TO PAY FOR THIS COLLECTION DEBT ON ESCROW $129 DOLLARS TO NCO. I AM ALSO REQUESTING NOW A REFUND ON THIS AMOUNT AS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE IT. I HAVE THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE IT. SEE ATTACHMENT.

Review: I contacted NCO to gain access through their website. I was told to use the number on the form letter. I did this and even with the assistance of [redacted], I was unable to gain access. Her only response is that my computer was not working correctly or that I was not entering the information correctly. We ran through this at least twice to no avail. She would not provide any other assistance or forward me to someone who might be able to tell me why the access codes are not correct.

The only message she wanted to convey was they wanted to collect the money that I supposedly owe.Desired Settlement: A statement stating why I cannot access their website and a statement showing how to gain access.

Review: I'm not sure if I can send this type of complaint here since it is a loan servicer but I want my case to be heard because something needs to be done. My loan was signed through [redacted] for [redacted] who sold it to [redacted]. I was what they say 120 days of rolling delinquency on my account and they sent me to default in a law office. Per the terms and conditions of my promissory note I don't believe rolling delinquency is on the note. It states 120 days without payment and most private loans are 180 now. There's no rehabilitation program and everyone I try to call for proof of payments and or explanation of why I'm in default or why I can't get out, cannot provide a legal answer or any answer for that matter and send me to call the next person in the chain of this sloppy loan servicing. NCO has complaints filed against them with the consumer financial protection bureau one of which I have placed but no one wants to help me get this servicer to follow their terms and conditions as stated. Their practices are unprofessional. Many students in America face the deadly grasp of private student loans because of the lack of education before taking one or strict guidelines and allowances of Pell grants and federal aid. We want to further our education and have to turn to private loans just to be swallowed whole and given no chance of redemption or hope. Federal aid is limited but they aren't even as unforgiving as these loans. I am writing and will continue to write whoever I can everyday until I find justice. This loan company is unforgiving and damaging to our future and economy. If you aren't willing to provide a rehabilitation program as federal loans do for default to get students on the right track then you must provide justified reasoning as to why one is in default and why it can't be fixed. Neither of these answers I have gotten a response for and it's frustrating and altogether bad business. When I request my promissory note be sent so I may pursue further action send me all of my paperwork because what you've sent only proves my case that I don't belong in default and you have proof or reasoning as to why I should be there.Desired Settlement: I want my loans out of default. I want proof with every payment I missed in this rolling delinquency added up and shown that I succeeded the 120 days of payment. I also want proof that if that's the case that in the promissory note that it states once an account is delinquent that it can go into default at any time or that it is a rolling 120 days and not 120 without any payment in a row. I don't belong in default and if I do I want my justified proof. I want the part of the note that states this so called default and that once in default that you can't get out. It doesn't say either of those on the note. And if it doesn't state no rehabilitation then I want out. Because I know it doesn't state that. You have proof of default or rehabilitation and I want something done. Stop sending me what you think Looks like answers to me when it's everything I've sent you with no answer just reworded. And if you broke the terms of my loan which I think you did because you paid whatever loan you wanted and didn't break them up into the correct payments like you were supposed to and I called and t still didn't change then you wipe out my loans and we are done.

July 9, 2014Dear [redacted]:I acknowledge receipt of your June 26, 2014 letter for the above consumer.NCO is servicing a total of 4 private defaulted student loan accounts on behalf of the [redacted]. Please note that none of these private loans are secured by the Federal Government and therefore, the loans are not eligible for rehabilitation. All of the accounts have been forwarded to [redacted] to perform collection activity.Per the terms and conditions of the agreements with the creditor, in the event that these loans are deemed to be in default, the creditor may demand that the borrower pay the balance in full. In addition, collecting on the defaulted balance may include obtaining a judgment by filing a lawsuit and/or initiating wage garnishment. Please note that any collection agency or law firm that may attempt to collect on the loans must follow the client’s repayment guidelines regarding settlements and payment plans. Response:

This is the same response I got from [redacted]. It's not an answer. All you are stating to me is what I already know. You have no reason to put me in default. All it says in the promissory note that I have received (which all they will send me is the note disclosure and creditworthy statement until I finally asked for all documents which I haven't received) says nothing about the actual terms of default. Just states if you deem me to be at default, which doesn't state at any time you choose, that you have to meet conditions of nonpayment to reach that. Nor does it say I can't get out of default. All you say is no. There is no valid reason why it's no and no one I've talked to can tell me why. This is a ridiculous circle of people who have no idea why I'm in default and can't explain it. There is no reason I should be in there. If you have no proof or terms on the promissory note then its done. I shouldn't be in there. Nothing about this contract or promissory note states default. It says you may face a penalty or late charge. I'm tired of getting the run around and I want something done. They are the most complained about private organization for student loans and yet they still get what they want. You are ruining my credit by putting me in a bankrupt category when loans can't be forgiven. I'm making payments and it's just nonsense that you'd do this to someone.

Review: Got a letter from this company that I have never heard of demanding that I forward a payment for a debt that was settled on 05/13/2012.Have not heard from the company since the account was settled, then all of a sudden I get this letter from this collection agency that I have never heard of.Not going to happen. If I owe a debt to a company, that is who I send payment to,Never a collection agency.

Had a bad experience with a collection agency about (20) years ago, never again. NCO stated in their letter that if I failed to respond to their notification that they would assign the account to a collector with instruction to collect balance, sounds like a threat to me. Went to supposed creditor's web site to see if I had a balance and to pay if I did. No balance listed. Not sending NCO FINANCIAL a dime.Desired Settlement: Do not contact me again about this paid debt.

Review: NCO recieved the proper insurance documentation to resolve my debt 2x now. The first time, they lost it. I have resent, and they refuse to call back.

Begininng in February I started recieving calls from NCO regarding my hospital bill debt. As I was working with [redacted] insurance to retroact my benefits, I told them I was still in the process of getting the insurance coverage right. When [redacted] approved the coverage for the month of my hospital stay in April, NCO had me fax them the Letter of Authorization. They told me it was in their system, and it would be handled. Mid August they called me again in an attempt to collect the debt claiming their system did not show I sent them anything. I explained the situation and they had me fax the paper over again and told me to follow up in 14 days. I have been trying to contact them and have left several messages but they refuse to call me back. I have the proper insurance forms to cover the outstanding hospital charges, and yet nothing is being done to resolve it aside from them losing my paperwork, claiming they never recieved it (but upon having them scour their system was told "oh yeah it looks like we did get something and just no one did anything with it") and now to have them not return my calls when I am attempting to do my due dilligence in resolving this.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge taken care of completely. I have done everything they asked and they keep dropping the ball.

Review: This is a fraudulent company that continues to harass my family every single day about a bill that does not exist. N.C.O. Financial Corporation is paired up with [redacted] to find a past medical bill by someone that has already been paid off and claim that it has not been paid in full and then the companies claim to be a debt collector. They have been ruining peoples credit for years, including mine. As a victim of identity theft, this is the last thing I need on my credit report. Please put these companies out of business and help stop these harassing calls as I can never get a live human on the phone to stop them myself!Desired Settlement: Put N.C.O. Review: NCO Financial has reported to the credit bureaus debt that does not belong to me, despite numerous attempts to inform them that the debt is not mine.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that NCO Financial delete the account from the 3 major credit reporting bureaus (Experian, Transunion, Equifax), as well as provide in writing their agreement to not turn around and sell the account to another creditor as it is not valid.

Review: I was making my payments of $202. I lost my username and password to do online payments and called the company. They proceeded to tell me my payments would be over $400 a month and would not accept anything less. I told them I could only afford $250.00 a month, but I was told they would not accept it. The representative continued to harass me stating I need to learn to pay my bills and continued to try and pry personal information out of me stating information I refuse to share can be used against me when they take legal action.Desired Settlement: I want to make payments I can afford to make. The economy is rough and I have other bills I have to pay. There should be no reason this company cannot accept a payment I am willing to pay that is actually more than what I was originally paying.

Review: NCO Financial Systems has been contacting me for months since I became passed due on my [redacted] credit card trying to collect money from me on behalf of [redacted].com. I was unemployed and and then I became behind on my monthly credit card bill from [redacted], who would not set up a payment plan or work with me. After a month or two my debt was sold off to NCO Financial and they have been calling me to ask me to pay. They came up with these ridiculous amounts based on what they claim I was past due. I never gave them debit card or social security information. I told them from January until April before I was employed that I was unemployed and could not pay [redacted] and I tried to work out a payment plan where a family member would be able to assist me in making my payments to [redacted] but they refused to help me. NCO financial would not work out a payment plan and claimed that they are a collections agency through [redacted] and has kept threatening to sell my debt to a third party collections agency. This makes no sense because they are a third party agency. They asked me to pay $627.31 in three installment payments to settle my debt back on April 1st, which I did not agree to because I do not have that kind of money. Then recently they asked for $69.00 to settle my debt. I paid [redacted] directly because I do not trust NCO Financial and do not think it's a legitimate company based on the research I done on them. Once I paid [redacted] when I received my first check on my job . They got mad because I did not pay them directly and on May 21st when I talked to them they said they would charge my debt off to a third party collections agency. They told me they wanted $345.00 by June 20th and they are 173 days delinquent and next month it will be transferred out of office. They also told me on May 27th I could pay $258.00 to avoid them charging off my debt. I do not have that kind of money. This company lied about not being a third party collections agency, has misrepresented themselves as working for [redacted], and are trying to extort money off of me by any means necessary.

Review: NCO contacted me with an outstanding balanced owed to [redacted] Hospital - from a few years ago - that I didn't even realize was still unpaid. We went through a really tough 2 years when the economy crashed and we lost our business; no money to pay bills and almost filed for bankruptcy. When NCO contacted me, she was rude, insulting, & horribly condescending. I asked for a detailed bill so I could validate the bill was not paid in full. After 'challenging' discussions, I called [redacted] myself to validate the account balance. I agreed to pay it with no issues (now that we are employed and CAN pay the bill). By the time my debit card was charged, an automatic bill had depleted the account and the charge declined. When they called me back, the NCO rep started yelling at me when I asked her to recharge the card, as I was happy to move more money into the account from savings. She barked at me, "Well why didn't you do that the first time!" After she continued to yell at me, I hung up on her, called [redacted] hospital and inquired as to how to pay the bill directly to them, rather than NCO. I also complained to [redacted] regarding NCO and asked for a supervisor to call me back... which no one did call me back. The last conversations and subsequent online payment was made on 3/4/2014 @ 12:49pm CST. The approval code is [redacted]. To debit [redacted] account xxxx [redacted]. Patient account number [redacted]. NCO is a HORRIBLE company and should not be allowed to operate or report to the collections agencies. NCO HAS POSTED A NEGATIVE CREDIT REPORT THAT I HAVE NOT PAID THE BILL IN MARCH --- IT MUST BE REDACTED IMMEDIATELY!!! I WILL CONTACT ALL NEWS AGENCIES AND AN ATTORNEY IF IT IS NOT REMOVED FROM EVERY AGENCY.Desired Settlement: NCO HAS POSTED A NEGATIVE CREDIT REPORT THAT I HAVE NOT PAID THE BILL IN MARCH --- IT MUST BE REDACTED IMMEDIATELY!!! Review: NCO was given my account by [redacted]. Amt owed was $55.95. I paid this through on line banking check #[redacted]. date of March 11 2014. I have copy of check where my bank generated and copy of back of check where NCO deposited.

However, this company still continues to call several times a day, hanging up when the answering machine comes on and using different 800 numbers to call in on to collect on this charge.

NCO also still has this on my credit report that this is unpaid.Desired Settlement: I want NCO to stop contacting me, give me credit for this payment as they should have done already, and report to any and all credit bureaus that this has been paid and no other negative comments or report from them in any way, shape or form.

Regards,

Review: I received a wage garnishment letter from [redacted] ([redacted]) on 9/11/13 for $7,857.00. I called [redacted] on 9/11/13 and was directed to NCO Financial Syste**, Inc. who is the debt collection agency for [redacted]. A representative of NCO Financial Syste** told me the $7,857 I owed was a combination of interest and penalty fees associated with the original debt owed to [redacted] that was already repaid. I asked a representative of NCO Financial to send me an itemized statement explaining what the debt of $7,857.00 consisted of. I was told they did not have to provide me any additional information and I still have not received anything in writing from [redacted] or NCO Financial Syste**, Inc. pertaining to this debt. The creditor agency tracking number for this debt is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want something in writing from NCO Financial Syste**, Inc. or [redacted] explaining how the interest and penalty fees were calculated. I also want a statement that shows how these fees were calculated based off the payments that were received by [redacted] every year from my income tax returns. I don't understand how a debt of no more than $9,000 accumulated $7,857 in interest and fees over a 4 year period.
