Review: On 29 May 2014, [redacted]/NCO Financial Systems, Inc. sent a letter to my address that was addressed to my wife, [redacted], requesting a settlement payment of $621.99 for services rendered in 2013 that were associated with the birth of my baby daughter. [redacted]/NCO Financial claimed they were representing a company called [redacted] in [redacted], TX and were requesting a settlement payment of 75% of the total balance owed, $829.32. When I contacted them and asked them why I was just being informed of this open balance all they said was we sent you a notice in September 2013. A review of my records found no letter had been sent to me or my wife for this open balance which we would have gladly paid immediately. [redacted]/NCO Financial Systems lied and never sent any letter...they are a predatory collections agency who do not adhere to the Revdex.com and could care less what the Revdex.com thinks of them. I would like to see company's like [redacted]/NCO Financial sanctioned for bad business practices.Desired Settlement: [redacted]/NCO Financial Systems, Inc. closed and barred from conducting any additional business. A law suit filed against them for violation of Revdex.com and fair business practices. A formal apology written by the CEO of [redacted]/NCO Financial Systems for failing to manage his/her organization in a proper manner. I intend on filing a civil suit against [redacted]/NCO Financial Systems for harassment and causing undue pain and worry to my wife and myself.

Review: The company has left multiple voice messages daily on my house phone, asking me to call them. I called today and the woman whom I talked to said the bill from the emergency room doctor was due, (it was over $1400.00. for an ER room visit in April 2013) I am 61, uninsured and I am working temp part time. The hospital 'wrote off the debt" and said the physicians would also. I have only received 3 billings from the ER doctors. I told the woman at NCO that I work part time( -30 hours a week temp.), I don't even clear 300.00 a week so I don't have the resources to pay this bill to which she said "You have enough in your [redacted] account to cover this. And you also have a [redacted] account" (an old account from [redacted] eyeglass purchase several years ago.) 1. Where did they obtain this information about my bank and accounts? I did not give permission or authorize anyone to do a background check on me. I called [redacted] and was told that they would not give account information. 2. Why call repeatedly every day?? Several years ago I applied to this company for a position. I was not hired. At the time of my application, I gave permission for a credit check FOR EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES ONLY.

What information was obtained and how was it used?

My bank said they would not give out information about my account.

How was information about the [redacted] account obtained other than a credit check?Desired Settlement: Stop Contacting Me. NCO to prove where /how my personal account information was obtained.

Review: No documentation provided from original creditor for collection notice. 1 collection notice given from NCOFS. Harassment calls for payment of debt. Settled on a settlement amount to be paid, charged full amount. Was told refund would be processed. Never processed. Filed dispute with credit card company to have credit given for difference of full debt amount and the settlement amount. Denied by NCOFS. Called to get documentation from NCOFS for settlement amount, told they can't provide any documentation to me. No refund given. Was told to have credit card company dispute the whole amount and they will approve. Then NCOFS will reopen debt account and charge correct settlement amount and close account. Still have yet to process.Desired Settlement: Refund the whole amount and I will work with the original agency who they loan is through for settlement.

Review: I received a call from NCO Financial Systems, Inc. They told me- "we are trying to protect your credit" regarding my un-usable credit card from [redacted] Bank. The supervisor that called me also told me "...use another financial services card" referencing my credit card.

I have a credit card with [redacted] Bank and have made ALL payments on time and before the due date.

I am asserting my credit card was made unusable because I have not accepted additional credit for a additional fee and NCO Financial Systems, Inc. was contacted to collect debt that is current on a credit card and ALL payments are made on time and before the due date.Desired Settlement: I need my credit card re-established and NCO Financial Systems, Inc. to stop trying to collect a debt that is currently not in ANY default when ALL payments are made on time and before the due date.

I am able to provide documentation that payments are made according to agreement of the credit card policy.

I refuse to pay an additional fee for additional credit.

Review: In January 2012, I made a payment of $371.56 to [redacted] via my [redacted]. [redacted] does not process credit cards, and houses it out to NCO to take the payments. The representative who took my payment failed to correctly input my name as the cardholder, and the transaction was flagged as fraud. I was contacted by [redacted] after the payment was made, and we figured out what the issue was and why this happened. I authorized [redacted] to re-substantiate the charges and remit payment to NCO/[redacted], [redacted] did such and sent the payment to NCO on 04/07/2012.

NCO claims that there was never a payment sent to them on 04/07/2012. I reached out to management at NCO in regards to this and they stated no funds were returned to to them on 04/07/12. Connie at NCO (in management) states that funds were not sent, [redacted] sent the trace ID and transaction numbers to NCO claiming where the funds were sent and the bank that it was sent to, NCO claims they have not received the funds.Desired Settlement: Funds returned to card or remitted to [redacted]

Review: After 2001 when it came to terrorism, the name most synomonous with the threat could be seen on any wanted poster on any federal website. Imagine it…men with long beards and robes throwing of the vibe that our countries worst nightmare could be found in lone men in any of the foreign countries from a cesspool of failed states that had unfavorable thoughts about U.S culture, the role American women play in our society and globalization. Before becoming the target of federal fraud involving my federal returns. I would have believed in that very thing. I write this in hopes that it will be received by the appropriate agency and not stolen once again ( a federal crime) by those who make a living as financial terrorists. Democracy is a very interesting thing. Something as a United States Veteran I would have believed meant it applied to all of the men, women and children who work, go to school and strive daily to achieve the American Dream. No. Not the American Pie version but the one were the tenets and cornerstone of our foundation is built upon the work that seven men in a room created with the Bill of Rights in 1776 that became the catalyst for what we have today. A nation of laws.

It is truly disheartening as a United States veteran that served their country on foreign soil and domestic in places some have never traveled or been to become one of the thousands shut out and left out by those who have deemed themselves larger than the flag we have represented globally to be targeted by our very own.

It would seem the term “veteran” is now a name to be brandished about as something know more than a term used on parchment paper for those to turn away from and look down upon.. You can see and hear it daily when one turns on the local news to hear once again how we have become a new designated class and low common denominator. Today I write this letter regarding the institution set in place and created that is part of the link, chain and bond that allows our Internal Revenue Services to perform their job in accordance with the tenets of what seven men created so long ago. And the company formerly known as NCO Financial Systems located in [redacted] Ohio who stole my income tax checks for 2013 and 2014 for a NON FEDERAL or GOVERNMENTAL DEBT. [redacted] is a PRIVATE COMPANY. I request full reimbursement of my monies which is in excess of over $2,000. It is to my displeasure. It is to my dissatisfaction that I, as twelve year two tour combat veteran has become the target by those who believed my hard earned tax dollars paid into the system has had their taxes taken and given to a company that no longer exists. So I am writing to the Treasury Offset Program to attempt to request a hardship flag to be able to receive my income taxes regarding a debt that I do not have and never did while the investigation progresses regarding NCO Financial Systems which is now [redacted] llc according to a local attorney.

These people have managed to not only compromise the [redacted] network to gain financial data regarding previous transactions to make a false claim to collect federal tax dollars which is not in compliance with our governments laws. However, they not only breached the network, compromising other U.S Veterans (all female) information but they have gained the personal details of their personal home information as well. It is unquestionably un-American to become the victim of such prejudice as a veteran, American citizen and women. However it is even more scary that any first year law student or rookie police officer could have solved the case within five minutes as to who and where they are and how they managed to create a SAEDA violation of such magnitude.

As one of the many targets of this group, I am requesting my income taxes due to financial hardship while I gain the necessary relevant documents to prove to my attorney that I have been a target for identity theft to include this terrorists groups machinations which is on file and can be confirmed that I have made regarding an attempt on my life made the EXACT same day this bogus “debt” showed up in the [redacted] network systems. Unfortunately when I left the military in 2010, I cleared [redacted] with a ZERO balance which reflects on my installation clearing records and my credit report. This is a second attempt to gain the monies owed to me before this group takes it upon themselves to make ANOTHER attempt on a PRIVATE US CITIZEN who lost ones child in the attach in question while the second attempt was even caught on camera for the IRS and Treasury Offset program can view because it was caught on camera. Something I am sure the American people would not like to view on the next Fox News edition. The IRS and the Treasury Offset Program are more than welcome to view both attacks by contacting the [redacted] Virginia Police Department and the [redacted] County Sheriff’s department to request the videos one in which can be found with Dollar General Stores located in [redacted] GA.

Review: I settled with them in the amount of 9,270.00 and received a settlement letter stating my debt was paid in full. They still took my income tax return.

I received notice of debt satisfaction in January 2014, they assured me by letter that my account([redacted]) would never again cause my income tax return to be taken as they had done the previous year. They took 2000.00 from me last year I paid them over 9000.00 this year and they took another 2000.00 this year. We settled in August for 9,270.00 To make matters worst I was in formed I would have to wait 30 to 60 days for them to send me my money by someone named [redacted]. He was very disrespectful. I can't understand how an error on their part would not be rectified in a timely matter. This took place in Feb. It is now April and my family is in a financial bind and we need our money. It is not right for them to withhold peoples money and accrue interest on that money before they release the funds, especially when they took the money illegally. I will not be satisfied until I am assured this will never happen again to anyone, I demand an apology and my money be returned to me right away from (NCO FINANCIAL SYSTEMS, INC. Review: I served in the us army several yrs ago and accuired a credit card from the military , called [redacted] card, I did not keep up with the payments and every year when I get my tax refund ,it goes to this bill. I had asked repeatedly through the yrs for a paybook and I would pay on my bill. none of this happened, now, here this bill comes $7011.16 from NCO financial. My question is do they really represent the credit card issued me from the military or did they buy a debt and are trying to get me to pay it? Is the a limit on how many years a bill like this remains active, if so, why hasn't the military then or now presented me with the billing that I ask for every tax season? Is ncofinancial legally right in this?If they are, tell them to answer their phone, I have called several times and gotten no where, or send me a email address, thank youDesired Settlement: if this is found to be a rightful claim by ncofinancial I will make payment arrangements

Review: From 2001 to 2004 I had several medical procedures for sports related injuries while I was a college student living in Washington D.C. Some of the medical bills never got submitted to inusrance by the hospital. My father tried to work things out with the hospital and instead of submitting the bills to insurance they submitted them to a collection agency. The statute of limitations on this debt ran out over 5 years ago and now all of the sudden my father is getting calls from a collection agency trying to collect the debt. The first two calls occured on 02/20/2014. The calls were from NCO Financial Sytems. The woman who called was a [redacted]. [redacted]. The number she gave my father was ###-###-####. Now why did this collection agency wait almost 9 years to start harassing my family? Why are they harassing us when the statute of limitations on this debt ran out over 5 years ago? I do not even owe any of the debt because the medical bills were never submitted to my father's insurance insurance by the hospital despite my father's constant phone calls demanding that they submit the bills to insurance.Desired Settlement: Stop the harassing phone calls. Close the account and wipe my family's information from NCO's system.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

[redacted] of NCO Finnancial Systems told me via phone that the account was closed. Either [redacted] or the representative that wrote the response is lying and is falsely misrepresenting the account. The response also does not explain why NCO waited several years to harass my family. The company's response also does not make up for the fact that I, as well as, my husband were treated very rudely by [redacted] and that she refused to answer our questions. Since [redacted] told me that the account was closed I would like for the account to be closed and documentation proving that the account is closed sent to me.

Review: In April of 2013 NCO Financial contacted me offering me a payment plan for a student loan that I owed. I agreed and immediately automatic payment of $60 were drawn from my account to NCO. In July of 2014, believing that I was almost paid in full I contacted NCO to arrange for a payment to pay off the balance. At that time they proceeded to inform me that I was to have my wages garnished and that there was still a balance of $241.44. When I asked them why they were garnishing wages they informed me that the payment plan was for a limited time only and that payment had not been made since June of 2014. It is important to note that I was never notified of the limited payment clause at the inception of the plan nor was I contacted by NCO in writing in the months after April 2014. As a result a negative remark was placed on my credit report/history lowering my credit score. Furthermore, I do not feel that garnishing my wages is acceptable especially when NCO failed to notify me of the lapse in payment. A simple letter or phone call would have resolved this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like for NCO to contact the Florida Dept. of Education alerting them that their was a failure to communicate to me the above situation and to please have them remove this negative remark on my credit report. I would like for NCO Financial to issue me a letter explaining to me their failure to communicate and their willingness to make changes to my credit history.

Review: In 2012, I started making pymts. to this collection agency from a bill due to a school. Everytime I would make pymt., I would call to confirm pymt. and balance. My beginning balance was over 1,900.00. On thurs. May 17. 2014 at 12:20 I contacted [redacted] at the school to verify pymts received from nco and correct balance. she told me the balance she showed was DOUBLE than what I owed. I hung up and at 12:25 on May 17, 2014 I contacted **. [redacted] who ASSURED me that my balance was only 455.31, as I showed in my records. He told me that he would send the school updated info. on my account so that my balance would be corrected and this would show up in the system in 24 hrs. On April 30,2014 a man named [redacted] called and left me a message that I owed nco OVER 900.00. When I called this man back and told him I wanted to speak w/**. [redacted], he then tried to give me a different acct. number. Once **. [redacted] was on the phone he started saying that he did not understand why the school was showing a higher balance. He then had to go and "get his supervisor" to no avail to my situation. The school has told me that this company takes money every time a pymt is sent to them. I was told that a fee was charged at the very beginning and ONLY the one time. I still have a pymt. that was taken from my state income tax 3 months ago and the school has no record of it. The strangest thing is that a supervisor from the school called nco on 5-1-14 about 9:55am and someone told her that nco "mistakenly" posted a 300.00 pymt of someone else's money and they sent me a letter informing me of that. I told her that is a LIE. NOONE EVER told me of this and I NEVER received a letter stating that. I have been paying since 2012...My last conversation of confirmation of my balance was with [redacted] on April 17, 2014....WHY IS IT NOW SINCE MY BALANCE IS ALMOST PAID OFF W/NO INTERFERENCE FOR OVER 2YRS. THAT NOW MY BALANCE IS DOUBLED? I have yet to get a reasonable explanation!Desired Settlement: I WANT MY CORRECT BALANCE THAT I HAVE BEEN CONFIRMING ALL THIS TIME TO BE UPDATED IN THE COMPUTER AS WAS PROMISED TO ME. I DO NOT WANT TO BE PAYING A COLLECTION COMPANY "HIDDEN FEES" ON TOP OF FEES THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN OUT OVER THE YEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN PAYING MY DEBT BACK. MY BALANCE IS $454.71 OR $455.31 ---NOT OVER $900.00!!!

I am rejecting this response because: I have concerns with NCO response. I do not understand what their intentions are when they say they are "closing my account and having no more communications with me". I need clarification on this.....are they agreeing to the balance I know is correct of $455.and change, or are they still trying to incorrectly imply that I owe $900.00 which brought us to this point in the first place. I need confirmation and verification as to exactly what NCO is meaning by that statement. I have a statement from last year from NCO that was mailed to me which clearly show my balance then, and after my last pymt. in March of this year ($500.00), I couldn't possibly still have a 9 hundred dollar balance. I really need FULL UNDERSTANDING of what the meaning is behind that statement because it is very vague.

Review: I am trying to buy a house, and a credit check revealed I had an outstanding account with the NCO collections agency. I was never contacted about this debt, never got a phone call or a letter, and I didn't know about it until the credit check. I have a senior loan officer helping me, and when we first called NCO to inquire, I was told they would send me the paperwork describing the debt. They never sent that paperwork either. I waited a couple weeks, then we called them and offered to pay the $117.83 if they agreed to take it off my credit report. We were repeatedly transferred and left on hold, then transferred again. NCO finally told us if the original company agrees then they would write a letter of deletion to the credit score companies once I paid the debt. We called the company the debt originated at, and they agreed because I have otherwise perfect credit, and no one notified me about the debt in the first place. We paid NCO with all three involved parties understanding that a letter of deletion was to be sent. Once the original debt company sent the request, NCO denied receiving it and said there was nothing they could do. Again, we were constantly transferred and left on hold, and connected with a new person who didn't know anything about the situation when we were supposed to be getting a supervisor. This happened so many times that it leads me to believe this is their company policy--to tell the customer anything to get their money, and then back peddle and not follow through on promises. At one point we did a conference call with NCO and the woman at the original company who sent the request, and even though NCO continued to claim they never got it the woman had a confirmation letter from them. Again, we were placed on hold with absolutely no sign of a conclusion. My frustration comes from being dismissed and ignored, transferred and disconnected when we were simply trying to get NCO to follow through what they agreed to in the first place.

Eventually, after a 3 week ordeal, we were told that the people we had been dealing with aren't even the ones who deal with the credit score companies, that they have a liaison who does that. We got the number for that organization, and they agreed right away to write the letter of deletion. This whole process has been much more complicated than it needed to be.

My complaint can be summed up as follows: In attempting to collect a debt, NCO debt collection made a promise and then did everything they could to not follow through. Rather than handle my financial adviser and me directly, they entered into a war of attrition where they transfer us, disconnect us, and straight up lied. This occurred so frequently with so many different phone operators that I think it is their company policy; we were even transferred to the [redacted] office and faced the same thing. I cannot describe the frustration and vexation caused by this company.Desired Settlement: I want it acknowledged that they way they handled this situation was wrong. I have wasted three weeks, and hours of my life on hold with this company and I want someone at their offices to recognize that they were wrong to deny the letter of deletion. For the operators I dealt with I would like additional training on some kind of honesty policy and, if possible, basic human decency. I want to know that no one else will go through the aggravation of NCO debt collections not following through on their promises. My complaint can be summed up as follows: In attempting to collect a debt, NCO debt collection made a promise and then did everything they could to not follow through. Rather than handle my financial adviser and me directly, they entered into a war of attrition where they transfer us, disconnect us, and straight up lied. Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

[redacted] didn't even address the complaint. All she said was that the issue has been handled with the credit bureaus, which I stated in my original complaint. The problem I had with this company was getting to the point of conclusion, the weeks it took to get them to follow up on what they agreed to do, and their repeated ignoring, transferring, and disconnecting of the calls requesting them to do so. Her letter was a brush off, just as I have previously experienced with this company, and it says nothing of the problems I am bringing to light. What I want is an admittance that my financial adviser and I shouldn't have been treated in the disrespectful and unprofessional manner NCO seems to find as acceptable business practices, and an apology for the egregious behavior.

Review: Over a year ago I left my employer ([redacted]) and returned my [redacted] card to the Company along with the necessary claim forms for reimbursement. At the end of April/early May 2013 I received a letter and a call at my home from [redacted] telling me that I owed $290.41. I asked if they could tell me what this was for but without access to my card number (returned) or my old Companies web site they were unable to tell me. I had not received any billing statements from [redacted] since leaving my Company as the whole site was closed down ( the site was my billing address). I contacted [redacted] and filled out paperwork to file payment of the account as they had it on their web site. In December of 2013 I received a note from NCO Financial Systems asking for $524.41 as payment for what I owed [redacted]. I called [redacted] and was told they no longer had my account details as it had all been transferred to NCO. I then called NCO and asked for detailed statements so that I could work out where this amount arose from - they told me it would be sent immediately. Finally I called my ex-Company and they told me that they had misplaced my original claim but would pay all that was current on the web site ( a total of 407.41). I asked if they knew where the extra $117 came from and they had no idea. nearly two weeks later I called NCO again saying that I still had received no statements and they promised that this had been sent out on December 28th at 11:00AM. Following one phone call a week since that time I have still not received any statements for this account. The statement I had was In January of 2013 and unofficially from my old Company. I am now at a loss as to what to do. I appear to owe something but I don't know what for and neither [redacted] nor NCO seem to be able to let me have the details. I have been calling NCO recently and have been transferred to a new group [redacted] who also seem incapable of letting me see a statement of chargesDesired Settlement: I really would like to pay this bill and get it off my hands. However in order to get the money from my old Company for payment I have to present them with the details as to why this amount is different from what had been posted on their web site by [redacted]. I do not understand how the two amounts are different and what actually has been billed to me since January 2013. A series of statements would be good and it would be even better if [redacted] would withdraw any late charges for a bill that I was unaware of and was unable to get the details

This is NOT a request for "verification" or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your office provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you.
