Review: NCO Financial Systems contacted my employer trying to collect part of my wages for an outstanding student loan on behalf of [redacted]. My employer notified me before acting upon this request so I could look into the situation because it made no sense since I pay my loan to [redacted] on time every month. Not only did NCO contact the wrong employer, but they tried to collect from the completely incorrect person. This person they were trying collect debt from has the same first name as me but a different middle initial, different last name, different social security number and different address!

They obviously didn't do their homework before sending out requests to employers asking for money. Not to mention they sent out documents with very personal information on them about the lady they are trying to collect money from.

Their solution to the problem was to collect MY personal information to put on file so they didn't make the same mistake again. Of course I didn't give it to them, but it shows their lack of knowledge about their field of work and lack of professionalism. The only thing they said they could do was to write down my employers phone number so they didn't call again. What a joke. This company should be put out if business.

Stop putting innocent people through your debt collecting scams.Desired Settlement: They need to change their investigations into the people they need to collect money from. Trying to collect from people with completely different names, addresses and other personal information is sloppy and unacceptable.

Review: In June of 2010, I received a negative tradeline on my Experian and Transunion credit reports from NCO/[redacted] reflecting a payment due of $137. I have since paid that on 11/3/2013. NCO/[redacted] has failed to give me proof of payment nor has they reported this payment to the credit bureaus. There was obviously no point in me paying if it is going to continue to be reported as unpaid to the bureaus. They were paid in full, no settlement via credit card. This was not what we agreed upon,Desired Settlement: I want them to report this item satisfactorily to the credit bureaus as paid in full or remove this item from my reports. I did my part, now it's time for them to do theirs.

Review: I was contacted February 24th 2013 by a male who refused to tell me his name and only said he belonged to NCO services. I have recently found out that [redacted] regularly sells their customers Debt to NCO group for collections within 90 days of soldiers leaving the military. now NCO group has confiscated my entire Tax Refund as a means to collect on a debt that I was told both verbally and on paper that I had 36 months to pay. I have never heard of this company before nor do I know if they legally stole my refund.Desired Settlement: I wish to have a full itemized list of full debt, all fees and charges, and full amount that I supposedly owe. I will settle for no more than $7900 full payment and a full refund of my Tax Return. I will continue a sane, realist payment plan only after this is done.

Review: I paid a student loan settlement for my son. I did not received a letter stating it was paid. The loan has been sent to another collection agency.

Around July of 2013,I paid off a settlement amount for my son's student loan which totaled about $4000. I noticed I did not receive a statement saying it was paid so I forgot about it. Sometime in Jan. 2014, I received a letter from an attorney, asking me to pay the same money I had paid last year. So I proceeded to get the statement saying it was paid. This is when my problems began. After numerous attempts to get the information, I told a person at NCO Financial that I was going to make a complaint. At that point, everyone at that office said they could no longer speak with me and gave me the name of a person in which I had to direct all of my inquiries. The name of the person was [redacted]. I tried for 2 - 3 weeks of calling and leaving messages for this person but I never spoke with that person. Finally I had a message from a [redacted] ?. I called her numerous times before finally speaking with her. She told me that the letter had been sent around the middle of February. So far I have not received the letter. All I am needing is a statement which says the loan settlement amount was paid in full so it can be forwarded to the lawyers requesting a settlement for the same loan that has already been paid.Desired Settlement: All I am requesting is a letter stating the loan settlement had been paid in full and for this information to be communicated with the attorneys who are calling me about this same loan and asking me to pay this same loan amount.

Review: My hospital bill was sent to collections. It was a bill from [redacted] for the amount of $1,301.00. I had been approved for financial aide since at the time of the hospital visit I was currently laid off from my job and without [redacted] insurance. I was approved for a program where I needed to provide a monthly share cost for the amount of $62.00 for any bills from that hospital for any services I received (if needed) from the dates of 02/01/2012- 07/31/2012. My hospital visit was on 2/21/2012. I am responsible for paying the amount of $62.00 to the hospital. I was also charges other fees in excess of $300+ from sources used outside of the hospital, and those were also paid by myself. I talked with an employee from NCO Financial. As requested by her I faxed over to her on 6/18/2013 a letter of dispute, a copy of proof of financial assisatnce (stating I owe only $62). She then took my payment over the phone for the amount of $62.00. She told me that she had received the fax including proof of what I owe, received the payment I owed, and that everything was taken care of.

To my surprise today 1/16/2014 I reviewed my credit report to find out that this account is still in collections for the whole amount of the original balance less the payment I gave them on 6/18/13. I was in the process of applying for a home loan and this collections account has greatly impacted my credit score and may ruin my chances for getting the loan approved. When I called NCO Financial today they looked up my account and showed that they had taken the $62, but there were no notes of me ever faxing any information over, no proof of the finacial assistance had never beeen received, that the account had ever been settled. I am beyond upset by there lack of professionalism, and that this was not a clerical error if she infact told me everything was received, noted, and taken care of. I was basically deceived and lied to, for a few dollars to be collected.Desired Settlement: I want this issue to be resolved and removed from my credit report immediatley. I plan to dispute this matter with the credit agencies and would like a letter from NCO Financial stating as proof that this was a mistake on their part and this account had been in fact resolved back in 6/18/2013

Very truly yours,

Review: NCO is attempting to collect a debt from me that does not exist. They are using fraudulent information to enforce this debt. I was a customer of [redacted] (acct#[redacted]). Beginning in January and a short time before, I began having problems with my interne connection. It would not stay connected or would be really slow. When I called tech support they would trouble shoot and it would be normal for an hour and then go back. Everyday it became worse but I continued to pay the bill. By March there was no service at all. A representative from [redacted] gave me the option to cancel the account because they had trouble transmitting in buildings made of brick. My service ended by April.

I lived in [redacted] then and moved to [redacted] in June.

NCO sent a collection letter to my sisters address. I lived with my sister in the 90's before moving to NY. I called [redacted] and they connected me to NCO. The representative proceeded to tell me I owed them money for up until June ($107). She said my last day of service was

in June at the address they sent the letter and ask me if I had proof that I ended my service in April. I have never had [redacted] in [redacted]. I called [redacted] back and they said I owed $35 and I cancelled June 15th. I don't owe them money the information they have is a lie.Desired Settlement: I want any negative reports off my credit report and possibly a refund for January, Feb, March and April.
