Review: I have charges with the [redacted]. I had thought my husband had been paying them and learned that he hadnt, many months later. I called [redacted] and they said they would let me pay my tolls and take OFF the administration fees, but a portion was sent to NCO for debt collection. They advised me to call and I could get a settlement offer to get some of the debt collection charges removed. I owed 49$ and it is now $535................ I offered to pay the $49 plus some of the charges, but they wouldnt do it. The woman started threatening me saying it was going to be misdemeanors on my driving record and I needed to pay it all off and they werent going to offer me a settlement. The woman was very rude and I had tried to explain to her I've never received a settlement offer in the mail notifying of a settlement. I asked that the woman send me an itemized statement and she hung up on me..........I tried to call back several times and kept getting hung up on and was even left on hold for 23 minutes at a time when requesting a bill/statement. I still have not received any statements/bills and do not see how they can charge $535 on such a small charge......Desired Settlement: I want to pay the correct fees I owe and some of the collection charges, but feel as though I was never offered a settlement so should not have to pay $535+. I would like a settlement so I can at least pay something and get this handled.

Review: Back in late 2011, my pregnant wife had received emergency medical services. We were charged $1565.20, but due to financial constraints at the time, got behind on the bills. It was then sent to NCO for collections. In 2012, we began making monthly payments to NCO. On 5 separate occasions, I had spoken to a NCO representative, requesting to have monthly payments automatically deducted, instead of having to mail the payments out every time. In each occasion, I was told by NCO that the automatic payments were set up. For some reason, automatic payments have NOT been set up. While waiting for the automatic payments to be deducted from my account, I received information that NCO had filed a report on my credit rating. Keep in mind that this report was initiated after I had requested (for the 5th time) to have these payments automatically deducted. In August of 2013, I emailed NCO, but have not received a response. In September of 2013, I called the company 3 separate times, requesting to have the payments automatically deducted AGAIN and to have the report taken off my credit report. An NCO rep gave me a different number to call: ###-###-####. After calling the number, I realized that the number didn't work. I kept getting a message saying "the number has been parked." I have also tried setting up an online account on their website ncofinancial.com. I had already registered but forgot my password. Using [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], the "Forgot my password" link does not work! It's almost as if this company just wants me to mail my payments and not ask questions!Desired Settlement: I would like monthly payments to be automatically deducted. I would like to be able to access my account on the website (forgot my password link doesn't work). I would also like the report to be taken off my credit rating score, as I had repeatedly requested to have payments automatically deducted, but was never followed through with.

Thank you.

Review: We have been receiving messages from [redacted] that they are seeking collection. They never state what it is in relation to, only giving a number to call them back. Knowing the amount of scams there are these days, we first pulled our credit report to see if there were any complaints against me or my wife. There was one collection reported on my account, but the information of the collection agency listed was not [redacted]. I have called and taken care of this discrepancy with the agency seeking the owed amount, who was the first AND ONLY company to which the creditor turned this bill over in October 2012. On 06/27/2013, [redacted] obtained information from my credit file for the FIRST time. This month (July 2013), the calls began regarding seeking collection. I called [redacted] using the phone number listed on their website, and spoke with an agent of [redacted], [redacted], who promptly asked me for my social security number. When I said that I did not feel comfortable giving out this information, and asked them to confirm my account with them through my telephone number, he stated that they could not find any record of me--unless of course, I provided my SSN. When I insisted he try by some other means, he promptly ended the call. They have absolutely no business in this matter--their services were never sought by the creditor--yet they are trying to scam money because they now know that we owed a collection agency, and this very much looks like fraud on their part.Desired Settlement: Because of the number of times [redacted] has been reported for their collection practices (633!), ideally I would like them to be investigated and held accountable for their actions, if found to be trying to defraud consumers, and put out of operation. AT THE VERY LEAST, I would like them to stop contacting me.

Review: I have been recieving phone calls from NCO Financial For the past 2 months roughly about 4 times a day. That's a little bit of harassment if you ask me. I have just contacted them today on 12-26-13 to get my debt with them to a full balance of $1,000 to be paid in full, out of a balance over $3,000. The interest accumulated very high over time, now they do not want to accept my offer what so ever and give me absurd payment plans. I assume the calls will surely keep coming after I denied their request for their amount.Desired Settlement: I would like payment in full of $1,000 and the calls to stop. The calls are coming all day while I'm at work and even in the evening hours as late as 9:00P.M. The email can be sent to my account - [redacted]

Review: The original bill amount is $9.00, I have been illegal stacked with fees that constitute mail fraud, this creditor is asking for $429, which is 47% APR on a tollway bill, this is nothing short of illegal. I have been unable to reach the Illinois Tollway to pay the bill, I also have an I-Pass card that was set to reload automatically, this should not be a cost to me, their records or system needs to be rectified immediately.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would like to pay the fine amount if they did not properly update my records to auto load my I-Pass card as instructed after my last payment to Illinois State Tollway. The toll amount is $9.00, the fees and other interest charges are 420 dollars which is overcharging and tacking on in an illegal manner.

Review: I have spoken with [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] to settle this dispute. This is a debt not owed to this company but sold to this company in 2011 by [redacted] University. I have tried to resolve this matter with the aforementioned for the original amount owed to the original creditor and have been told that they cannot do so or and [redacted] refuses to answer his phone or return my voice message. June 18, 2014Dear [redacted]: I acknowledge receipt of your May 29, 2014 complaint regarding the above reference account. Please be advised that NCO is collecting on an account that [redacted] University forwarded to NCO with a total balance due of $626.36. Please note that the account relates to unpaid fees in the amount of $482.30 that [redacted]. [redacted] still owes to the University. NCO does not own this account and was only retained to perform collection activity. When the account was placed for collection, the University added an additional $144.06 to the principal balance as a charge for collecting on the account. Please note that before [redacted]. [redacted] account was forwarded to NCO, the University advised [redacted]. [redacted] if the account should be placed for collection, [redacted]. [redacted] would be responsible for paying the collection fees. According to NCOs account notes, NCO has already mailed him the validation materials relating to this account. NCO is forwarding you the validation that NCO already sent that reflects that [redacted]. [redacted] owes $482.30 for unpaid fees. NCO is also forwarding you billing statements that the University sent before the account was placed for collection. Please note that per the Universitys guidelines, NCO does not have the authority to settle his account. Nonetheless, in response to [redacted]. [redacted]s complaint, the client has agreed to waive the $144.06 in collection costs as a courtesy. NCO has updated the account to reflect that [redacted] is now only responsible for paying the $482.30 principal balance.NCO has updated the account to prevent NCO from initiating communication with [redacted]. Review: NCO FINANCIAL HARRASSED MY EMPLOYER UNTIL I WAS PUT ON A PART TIME 20 HR WORK WEEK, BECAUSE HE COULDNT FIRE ME FOR THEIR HARASSMENT. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER WHO MADE 6,429.00 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR OF 2012. I AM RAISING 2 SMALL CHILDREN, BY MY SELF, AND WAS SUPPOSE TO GET 3459.00 FOR INCOME TAX, TO CATCH UP MY RENT AND ELECTRIC. BUT NCO THOUGHT IT WAS PROPER TO TAKE EVERY DIME OF THAT FOR A 30 YR OLD STUDENT LOAN THAT I NEVER RECEIVED. THEY KNOW IT AND I'VE PROVEN IT. BUT THEY ADVISED ME THEY COULD CARE LESS AND DONT HAVE TO TAKE MY PROOF NOR DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW ANY PROOF FOR THEIR THEFT FROM ME.I WAS 19 YRS OLD AND JUST HAD A BABY, I WANTED TO ADD TO MY EDUCATION, SO I ENROLLED IN WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A CLASS FOR "MEDICAL ASSISTANT", AT A REPUTABLE ESTABLISHMENT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS JUST A FRONT FOR GOVERNMENT THEFT. AFTER REALIZING, "[redacted]", WHICH IS THE NAME IT WAS GOING BY, AT THE TIME. NOW HAS BEEN CHANGED OVER 5 TIMES. AS PER THE LAW, IF ONE BUSINESS IS IN TROUBLE, CHANGE THE NAME AND START AGAIN. I WAS TOLD AND ALSO PUT IN WRITTING, THAT I WOULD HAVE 13 WEEKS TO CHECK OUT THE SCHOOL. I TRIED TO ATTEND CLASSES FOR 6 WEEKS, BUT THERE WAS EITHER, NO INSTRUCTOR/TEACHER OR EQUIPMENT TO COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS WAS NOT AVAILABLE, BECAUSE EITHER THEY DIDNT HAVE IT OR THE ONE THEY HAD WAS BROKEN. I AND OTHERS OLDER THAN ME AT THE TIME, WENT TO WITHDRAWL AND WAS TOLD FROM THEIR ACTING DEAN, NO WITHDRAWL PAPERS ARE NEEDED, I WILL TERMINATE YOUR ATTENDANCE AND ANY FUNDS OWED WILL BE RETURNED. FOR ME, THIS DID NOT HAPPEN AND I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF ANY PROBLEMS UNTIL 5 YEARS LATER , WHEN I WAS NOTIFIED BY NCO THAT A DEBT WAS OWED IN THE FULL AMOUNT OF 2569.00 PLUS 5 YS INTEREST. I EXPLAINED THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE AN EDUCATION, CERTIFICATE, OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS FRAUDULANT SCHOOL. I THEN ASKED THEM TO PROVIDE RECORDS OF ATTENDANCE, CLASS GRADES, OR ANYTHING PROVING I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL. THEY THEN EXPLAINED IT IS UNNECCESSARY TO PROVE ANYTHING EVEN IF I COULD PRODUCE THE FACTS. THEFT IS THERF AND WHEN CORRUPTED PEOPLE STEAL FROM THE GOVERNMENT IN OTHER INDIVIDUALS NAMES, THOSE INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONCIBLE FOR THE THEFT.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND CLASSES FOR THE CLASSES I WAS NOT GIVEN. I WOULD LIKE ALL THE MONEY NCO FINANCIAL HAS STOLEN FROM ME TO BE REFUNDED, IF I CAN NOT BE AWARDED THE EDUCATION I WAS PROMISED. THEY HAVE DAMAGED MY ABILITY TO WORK A FULL TIME JOB, DUE TO THEIR CONSTANT { MONTHLY} HARASSMENT OF MY EMPLOYER. WHEN THEY WERE UNABLE TO STEAL MONEY FROM MY 159.00 PER WEEK, CHECK, THEY THEN STOLE MINE AND MY CHILDRENS ENTIRE INCOME TAX CHECK, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH UP ON OUR RENT AND UTILITIES.

Review: This company could not explain what was happening with the money garnished from my check.

My wages have been garnished since Oct 2013 and when I called to check on the amount left owed to make sure it matched what I showed, I was told first I wasn't in garnishment and then they hadn't garnished me in months. I have the check stubs to prove it. I was first denied a supervisor and then complained till I got one. I was on hold for more then 15+ minutes with no result of the issue at the end of the call. Review: NCO Financial continues to harass me at my place of employment after repeated times of notifying them that they have the wrong person. I have verified with them that the social security number they have is not associated with me, nor is the student loan debt they are trying to collect on. I have verified with them that I did not attend the university that the debt is attached to, nor does the date of birth match my name. They have tried to request information with my Human Resources director to file a wage garnishment over this issue. This did not go through, as it was verified, again, that I am not the person they are seeking. I have told them multiple times to stop trying to contact me because they have the wrong person. Yet the phone calls continue every 2-3 months.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to stop bothering me with this issue, as it has nothing to do with me. Review: NCO Financial is pursuing a fraudulent collection account that has negatively impacted my credit rating. They have shown no initiative to correcting this fraud and are subjecting me to a lengthy process to remove the fraudulent account from my credit report.

The account attached to my name is riddled with errors. It is for medical services that there is no possible way I could have incurred. It is clear that I have not connection to this bill, yet NCO has shown no willingness to correct the error.Desired Settlement: This fraudulent collection account has caused delays in the closing of a real estate purchase. Review: When I began getting calls from NCO Financial Systems,Inc. the gentleman representative never verified information, was constantly negative to me, took unauthorized payments, and finally he threatened to call my work place to have my wages garnished that is when I laughed at him because I too am in collections. I am a student loan default prevention counselor at [redacted]. With my job I now know how important it is to pay your debts, but when you have someone calling you demand payments and making threats it makes you not want to even communicate with them.Desired Settlement: I am requesting to have NCO write off my debt per several violations of the FDCPA. Otherwise I will be speaking with a lawyer and filing complaint with attorney general.

Review: I was a current customer of [redacted] for many years and had a savings account with them. I requested to close the account through a customer service representative at my local branch. This was suppose to be settled and closed right then and there, however the account was not closed and due to that fact one of my automatic payments was processed and therefore an overdraft fee was automatically applied. [redacted]'s procedure is to keep charging overdraft fees continously. This added up to around $150.00 and I was not notified until I received a notice from them already with that amount. There was no way I could afford this and I called them and nothing was setteled. Now it is being handled by this collection agency and my total is now $177.85.Desired Settlement: I personally do not think I should pay any of this amount due to the fact that I had requested for my account to be closed on time for none of the overdraft fees should have been applied.
