Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
*** *** didn't even address the complaintAll she said was that the issue has been handled with the credit bureaus, which I stated in my original complaintThe problem I had with this company was getting to the point of conclusion, the weeks it took to get them to follow up on what they agreed to do, and their repeated ignoring, transferring, and disconnecting of the calls requesting them to do soHer letter was a brush off, just as I have previously experienced with this company, and it says nothing of the problems I am bringing to lightWhat I want is an admittance that my financial adviser and I shouldn't have been treated in the disrespectful and unprofessional manner NCO seems to find as acceptable business practices, and an apology for the egregious behavior.
Regards,
*** ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: NCO have not taken care of the full issueOut of the two records, one record is taken care while the other account is still showing incorrectly under my credit reportThey need to remove the 2nd account as well
Summary: I moved from TN to KS, the service provided kept sending the two bills to my old addressFinally the bills were handed over to NCONCO did not do a good job contacting me - instead submitted the records to credit agencies and closed the account - this is reflecting negative on my credit record
Note: Since I have checked my credit report, I contacted the service provider and paid the two bills 100% Regards,*** ***

May 12, 2016Dear *** ***,In response to the letter of complaint received by NCO Financial Services, Inc., I have investigated the complaint made by *** *** *** *** is accurate in his statement that he is receiving calls pertaining to an old debt that he had incurred and that the
debt has fallen off the Credit Bureau, this fact does not remove his obligation towards our clientIn addressing the concerns brought forward by *** *** of being contacted by NCO for a period of nine plus years, his allegations of harassing calls and the expiry of the debt due to the statute of limitationsI can confirm that the account was assigned to NCO on July 29, 2015; contact was never established with *** ***The fact that the account has been with NCO for less than one year and we have had no contact with the consumer, it is impossible for NCO to have been responsible for the claims of harassing calls or for handling the account for the duration of time stated in the complaint.NCO’s collection efforts in pursuing the recovery of this debt as it relates to the statute of limitations is based on legal advice provided to our organization for the province of Ontario and the fact that the consumer has an Ontario address on recordOur understanding is that while legal action can no longer be commenced as per the Ontario limitations legislation as applied to contractual debt obligations arising in Ontario, the underlying monetary obligation is not itself extinguished and collection efforts can continue thereafter in the form of letters and calls. To further clarify, is *** *** stating that he is not prepared to make arrangements to settle this file and requesting that our client absolve him of this debt? If so, he will have to communicate this request in writing. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss or require any clarification concerning the information provided.Sincerely,Marcelle L
