Review: I bought a brand new Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA/GSM Unlocked) white --- 16 GBA from this company online on September **, 2013. I DID NOT buy a refurbished one. The order number is [redacted]. The amount was $669.99 + tax of $40.20, equaling a total of $710.,19. After having it a couple of weeks, it totally died on me. It didn't fall or get wet and there was nothing wrong with the charger. When I took it to an Apple store in my area --- [redacted] --- they said they could not touch it because the screen was not an original Apple iPhone screen and the phone was refurbished.

The company lied to me and did not sell me a new phone. When I called the company, they told me to send it back to them and they will send me a new one. From November until now, February **, 2013, the [redacted] and others have been snowballing me with different stories and lies. They said they were sending it back to the Apple company to get it fixed, but later they said they were going to send me a new one.

As of today, I still have not received my phone nor a refund.Desired Settlement: This company is lying to customers that they are selling new phones. They should be checked out closely.

Hello

Review: I ordered a cell phone from ElectronicsForce.com on November **, 2013, which was to be a white Samsung Galaxy SIII, brand new. When I received the phone, it was a blue phone and obviously used. I contacted the company immediately and requested a full refund, to include return shipping cost, and was told both in e-mail and verbally over the phone that I would be refunded my full purchase price as well as return shipping costs upon receipt of the returned phone. The phone was received back by the company on December **, 2013. I was told that a refund COULD take UP TO 45 days. When 45 days approached, I contacted the company via e-mail and was told my account would be refunded and it would post within 10-15 days. On January **, after 45 days had passed, I contacted the company again, and was told my account was refunded THAT DAY and that it would post within 3-4 days. As that was 1 week ago and I still have not received a refund, and I contacted my bank today and was clearly told that no refund had been processed, I am filing this complaint because ElectronicsForce.com has failed to follow their own refund policy and the verbal promises of a refund, particularly for sending me an incorrect item that was used and described in the sale as new.Desired Settlement: I want my entire purchase price as well as return shipping cost refunded IMMEDIATELY and WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

After an extremely long and apparently unnecessary process, the company PARTIALLY refunded me for sending me the WRONG item. This was after TWICE telling me a refund had been issued, when it in fact had not been. After receiving a partial refund, I was told to contact another division of the business, which stated they would send me the remaining part of the refund, which I have not yet received. Also, despite being told originally that I would receive a refund of the return shipping for the WRONG item I was sent, I was now told that I would need to take extra steps to get that.

Bottom line, the company STILL has not completely satisfied the issue resulting from THEIR OWN error.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that although I have received a full refund, it took TWO MONTHS and near-constant contact to do so. Regardless of the fact that I have finally received my money back, THIS COMPANY IS NOT ONE THAT ANYONE SHOULD BUY FROM. Unfortunately, it does not appear that anyone will be able to do anything regarding this scam organization.

Review: I ordered a Motorola I680 BRUTE Rugged Camera Phone IDEN/GSM Boost Mobile (I680). After the phone arrived, I noticed that it says nextel on it and that it has sim card technology. So I called the business to tell them that I bought a boost mobile advertised phone but it has Sim Card Technlology but Boost Mobile is using CDMA(without Sim Cards,so I can t use it.

The person on the phone was very unfriendly and only wanted to accept a return if I get written statement from Boost Mobile that they don t use Sim Cards.

The person on the phone also said that the phone otherwise is not returnable.Of course Boost Mobile does not write Statements! After calling back again,no one answered my call.

Also in the description of the phone it did not say that it was remanufactured, but in the phone there is a sticker that it is.Desired Settlement: A return label and a full refund for this false advertisement

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The cell phone was clearly sold as a Boost Mobile, attached is how the description looked like and a screen shot of the sales page. Also it is very unprofessional to tell me one thing on the phone and now come up with something else. You clearly said on the phone that you would take it back if I would proof that Boost Mobile is not using sim card technology, which is already ridiculous. All it takes you is ONE phone call to boost mobile to find out.Never have I seen such awful customer service![redacted]

Review: I purchased a phone several weeks ago from electronicsforce.com. The item arrived at my residence when I was on vacation so the package was never opened until a week after it was delivered. The seller refused my return request because it was over the 14 day return period. The seller clearly states that all items are new. The phone I purchased came without a retail box, used with heavy damages cosmetically. I paid a premium price for a brand new phone, not a completely damaged phone. The phone is a MetroPCS LG Select flip phone and the price I paid was 129.03 which included shipping charges. Used versions of this phone are sold for a fraction of the price. The site grossly misrepresents the items.Desired Settlement: Wish to return the item for a full refund and compensated for shipping charges.

Review: I have received three defective phones from electronicsforce.com and they will not provide a refund. I will be down the original cost of the phone, the original shipping cost and the shipping and insurance costs for mailing three phones back to this company. Description of events:

3/**/2015 - Ordered the cell phone from electronicsforce.com by phone.

4/*/2015 - Charge appeared on the purchasing credit card.

4/*/2015 - Received 1st defective cell phone. Receiver/earpeice speaker was not working.

4/* or 4/*/2015 - called electronicsforce.com to receive authorization for exchange.

4/*/2015 - Mailed 1st phone requesting exchange.

WEEK OF 4/** - Received 2nd defective phone. After approximately two weeks of use, the phone experienced problems taking and holding a charge.

5/**/2015 - Brought the 2nd phone to the local wireless store that carries my cell service. They indicated that there was a problem with the charging port or battery. Called the company this day to inquire about a refund and was unable to get in touch with a representative that day.

5/**/2015 - Spoke with a representative who said the phone could not be returned. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to call back later in the week to talk to a manager.

At one point he accused me of damaging the phone.

5/**/2015 - Spoke with representative who told me that management would not speak to me, but that I could exchange the phone.

5/**/2015 - Mailed 2nd phone requesting a refund but would accept an exchange if a refund would not be permitted.

6/**/2015 - Received 3rd defective phone.

6/**/2015 - Brought 3rd phone to my wireless store. They tried to activate the phone with two separate SIM cards. The phone would not recognize either. They said that there seems to be a problem with SIM card port.

6/**/2015 - Called electronicsforce.com by phone to request authorization for a refund. They told me that I must do this on line and so I did.

6/**/2015 - electronicsforce.com replied "unfortunately this purchase is from march we are unable to accept return on this phone". I replied "this is the third defective phone that this company has sent to me since March. I do not want to exchange for yet another defective phone. I would like a refund...I am sending this phone back to you in hopes that you will amicably resolve the issue by providing a refund and while waiting will proceed to file a complaint with the Revdex.com at this time."

6/**/2015 - Will mail the 3rd phone back, insured, return receipt requested.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the amount originally paid for the first phone and for shipping costs. Had the phones not all been defective, we would not be in this situation.

All returns, undelivered and refused packages are subject to a Minimum 15% restocking fee and non refundable shipping, handling and insurance. Review: I ordered a phone through this company about a week ago. The guy assured me it was new and the right phone. I payed $10 extra dollars for it to be delivered through UPS but they sent it through usps. I get the phone today and its not new, it's damaged, and its the wrong color and the microphone on the phone does not work. Me and my girlfriend contacted the guy and we ended up arguing about it. Long story short the guy mentions that I have 3 kids like he does and that I'm trying to take money away from his kids. I never mentioned anything to him about my kids or my life. I'm worried about why he knows that and why a company would send the Wrong merchandise and not working. He did end up saying he was sending fed ex to come pick up the phone but I'm sure that there is some sort of identity theft going on.Desired Settlement: I want a comete refund and or this business and the guy I spoke with investigated as to why he knew so much about me.

Great company to order electronics. I ordered an unlocked Samsung Android phone for a good price, and it arrived promptly. The phone works great and really happy with my purchase.

Review: On 8/**/14 I purchased a Jitterbug Plus online from Electronics Force for my elderly parent. The phone was received on 9/*/14. After opening the packaging, the phone was in an opened used box, the phone was not the Jitterbug model I ordered and it was a used, scratched phone with someone's contact information stored in it. I contacted their "customer service" department to complain and was told I could not return the phone, then I could only exchange the phone, then they would refund a portion, and then I listened to the man verbally assault me for over 3 minutes before he hung up on me. I tried to call back and got an answering machine that said "Leave a message". I realize that this company is probably selling stolen phones. I am sending the phone back via US Post CRRR today.Desired Settlement: This company should be shut down. I have done some research and I am in a long line of consumers that have been scammed. Hopefully by getting this documented, it may help some other unsuspecting consumer from dealing with this company and getting scammed like I did.

Business

Response:

Hello

what kind of jitterbug phone did you received what is the model #?

Consumer

Response:

The reason I rejected their response was because when I initially called Electronics Force to let them know that the phone I received was not the phone I ordered, the salesperson put me on hold to look at the his website. While I was on hold I pulled up their website and all 3 Jitterbug phones shown had the same model number although all 3 Jitterbug phones were very different. I believe that this is part of their scam, that they can send any phone and say this is the phone you ordered. Unless you really look at the model number of each Jitterbug phone listed, you would not realize that the model numbers are all the same. It would not have done any good to respond to their questions, I have gone through this with them when I initially called them and all I received was hostility and verbal abuse.

Review: Dear Sirs,

I purchased an unlocked phone to use it in Egypt. I also mentioned a request to be sure that the phone will work there. Unfortunately, the phone arrived defective. it does not recognize any wireless signals. I gave it to Vodaphone engineers in Cairo Egypt, to check and they indicated that the phone is defective, does not recognize any signals, and accordingly, it is useless.

There are two possibilities for such an explanation. The phone may be locked for use in USA only by a specific wireless company. Alternatively, it is a defective product, returned back to their store by another customer, and was sent to me in rush, especially as they knew that I will be using it outside US. The second explanation may be most likely the one, as the phone package I received did not contain any instruction booklet on how to use it.

Accordingly, I would like to return the phone back to the store for full refund.

However, on looking through their web site, I found that they had made a 14 days as a grace period to return any item. First I received the phone on 06/**/2015. I travelled to Cairo Egypt on 06/**/2015, to arrive on 06/**/2015. The trip took nearly 24 hours flight. By the time I recovered from the jet lag, it took me anther one week. I struggled with the phone hoping it will work, but without success. I notified them today, a delay of 18 days. According to their website, they will not accept phone return as it is over 14 days, which I do not feel that is appropriate.Desired Settlement: Refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This company is not honest. In my initial request I mentioned the followings: 06/**/2015 Pending Presently, I am working at a hospital in [redacted], Staying at [redacted]. My phone is not working and I need a new one. Please call me if you are unable to ship it to the Hotel, instead of cancelling the order. Also, I need assurance that the phone is unlocked and I can use it in Egypt 06/**/2015Pending Credit Card payment. AUTH: [redacted]. TransID: [redacted]06/**/2015Processing 06/**/2015Shipped

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

So from the first contact, I indicated that I will be using the phone abroad (and that is why I requested unlocked phone). If the company does not allow phones to be used outside the US, they should have indicated so, and refused to ship the phone to me. Furthermore, they have sent me a defective product, knowing that I will be leaving US. Regardless, I am back to US and would like to return back the phone to the company for refund.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

our website clearly indicated or return policy its also clearly indicated that the phone is intended to use in the USA. at electronicsforce.com we only selling the equipment it is customer responsibly to check with the own service provider to make sure the phone will work with they service provider our return policy clearly stated 14 days return policy AS A COURTESY TO THE CUSTOMER HE CAN SEND THE PHONE BACK TO US ONCE WE GET IT WE WILL PROCESS A REFUND MINUS A RESTOCKING FEE please make sure to return the phone no later then 07/**/2015

Review: I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S 5 which stopped working after less than 3 months. I contacted Samsung and shipped the phone to then for repair. They contacted me and said they could not fix my phone because it was supposed to be black and this one was white. Therefore, it must be a counterfeit phone. They voided my warranty. I contacted Electronics Force and they were willing to fix the phone. I shipped it to them, and they had my phone for over one month. I had to call and inquire about the status of my phone multiple times. They have NO idea what they are doing. I have FINALLY received my phone back, however. the front of the phone is coming unglued and lifting from the face of the phone. So much for the Samsung Water Protection I paid nearly 400.00 for.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund on my original purchase from Electronics Force, totaling 384.99 which does not include the Shipping and Handling I had to pay to send the phone to Samsung, or them to be fixed.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The response from the business does not make sense. I gave the needed information and I am not disputing that the phone was not fixed. My problem is that it took an extremely long time and now the face of my phone does not stay on the phone, totally negating the waterprooffing of the device. Also they have not commented on the authenticity of the product they sold me. According to Samsung, this is a counterfeit phone. I was promised manufacturer warranty that was denied because the authenticity of the phone. Finally the response is impossible to decipher because they do not use correct grammar, capitialization, or punctuation.

Review: I purchased a LG - Nexus 5 D820 (Un-locked) - Black through ElectronicsForce, and webpage of the item is [redacted], on which a 32G model is present. When the item was delivery to my home, 2 serious problems were found: (1) Memory is not 32G but 16G (2) Looks like it's used, not brand-new. Then I contact the customer service of ElectronicsForce, they replied: (1) Although the webpage used a 32G model, but $377.99 is actually the price for 16G model. The 32G model is $439.99. (2) It's absolutely brand-new.

I‘m not satisfied with their reply, because for question 1, they never mention in the title as well as description that the $377.99 webpage is for 16G memory model, but present a 32G model. It's really confusing customer. For questions 2, when I check the D820 I received, I noticed the IMEI number on the package [redacted] was different from the IMEI # [redacted] on sim card tray. The sim card tray IMEI # belongs to aD821 model, which is a model not sold in North America. Besides, the battery of the phone is obvious used and also belongs to D821 model. It's not a brand-new at all. In this case, I contacted the customer service to ask for return, they said ok but I needed to pay for a 15% restocking fee, the return fee will also pay by myself. I told them I shouldn't pay for these because the webpage is misrepresent and phone is not Brand-new. Then a customer service staff yelled at me and said it's impossible. After that unpleasant talk, another staff contacted me later and asked me to send the pictures of different IMEI# to them. After I had sent, I only received a reply said "the Sim Card # imei is different due the fact those phones been unlocked so you can use them with any gsm carrier worldwide that’s the only reason the sim slot been swapped". It doesn't make sense at all because I used to purchase brand-new un-lock phone through [redacted], or other online company. No matter it's Andrid or iPhone, only if it's brand-new, this swapped sim card problem never happened. Besides, the battery of D821 looks even older than my own phone's which has been used for 3 years.

To sum up, ElectronicsForce have several problems to me: (1) Ad misrepresenting the produce (2) Cheated on customer it's brand-new. Even there're evidences, they still not confront to the problem (3) Certain customer staff is rude to customer.Desired Settlement: ElectronicForce provides me the pre-paid shipping label, I return the item to ElectronicForce and receive my full refund $377.99.

(1) ElectronicsForce has changed the webpage of item. Attached please find previous page. I've marked red of the confusing info, it could be easily to see that $377.99 item was presented with a 32G model. Besides, for memory part, they write "16/32G", which is surely not a clear description. (2) ElectronicsForce doesn't answer my question about different IMEI #. How can a phone with such an obvious problem can be insisted as a brand-new phone?(3) After I report their misrepresenting ad, they didn't admit their problem but changed the webpage and said I didn't read description carefully. I'm very sick and angry with their mean act. I still insist my desired settlement: Return with full refund ($377.99) and return shipping fee (~$10), no restocking fee.

Review: An order was placed for a cell phone for my grandparents on 06/**/2013. The address input was incorrect [redacted] instead of [redacted]. I have called several times in order to get this changed and to find out the status of the order. However no phone calls back and you can not reach a person. Today I called and left a message that said I would be placing a complaint with the Revdex.com. I finally get a phone call back saying that the phone was shipped on the 06/**/13. I was given a delivery confirmation number that is not valid....this is what comes up on USPS website. You entered: [redacted] Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office. The phone from NY to OH should not take this long. The 10-14 days shipping would have ended on 06/**/13. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I PAID EXTRA FOR FED-EX 3 DAY SHIPPING, AND JUST LIKE OTHER COMPLAINTS WHEN THE PACKAGE SHOWS UP, IT COMES SEVERAL DAYS AFTER WHEN IT SHOULD, AND IT COMES USPS NOT FED-EX. THEY HAD THE CELL PHONE I ORDERED SHIPPED TO THEM FROM CHINA, AND THEN THEY SEND IT PRIORITY MAIL TO ME. THEY CHARGE UPS, AND FED-EX NEXT DAY, 2ND AND 3RD DAY SHIPPING, BUT THATS NOT HOW THEY SHIP. THEY ORDER FROM CHINA TO THEM VIA EMS CHINA MAIL, THEN ONCE THEY GET IT THEY SHIP IT USPS. SO THE CELL PHONE I ORDERED FOR 3DAY FED-EX DELIVERY CAME 10 DAYS LATER AND WAS DELIVERED BY THE POST OFFICE. I HAVE SINCE SENT IT BACK TO THEM AND I AM AWAITING A FULL REFUND THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE TO ME . MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAS GIVEN ME BACK A TEMPARORY CREDIT, AND IF THEY DONT GET RE EMBURSED WITHIN 45 DAYS THEY WILL CHARGE IT BACK TO ME. I WAS FIRST GIVEN A BOGUS TRACKING NUMBER AND THEN 4 DAYS LATER THEY GAVE ME THE TRACKING NUMBER LK923810289CN THAT SHOWS THE SHIPPING FROM CHINA TO THEM IN NEW YORK, THE TRACKING NUMBER THEY GAVE YOU WAS WHEN THEY SHIPPED IT TO ME VIA USPS 10 DAYS AFTER I ORDERED THE CELL PHONE FED-EX 3DAY SHIPPING . SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME A FULL REFUND, BUT MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY KNOWINGLY CHARGE FOR UPS AND FED-EX, NEXT DAY , 2ND DAY, AND 3RD DAY SHIPPING AND NEVER EVEN INTEND TO SHIP THIS WAY, THEY JUST ADVERTISE IT TO MAKE MORE MONEY.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

If I could leave NEGATIVE stars I would!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES!

Ordered a phone for my wife from them listed as NEW via their website ([redacted]). The phone arrived and was the wrong color. Called them to complain (they don't open until 11:00am for some reason). Same male answered the phone each time I called (spoke broken English, sounded Arabic). This male insisted that I ship it back to them at my cost (made no apologies or attempts to keep me happy for their mistake). I convinced my wife to just keep the one they sent b/c I didn't want to pay for shipping nor did I trust this company to ship back the right phone. Tried for 2 days to get the phone to turn on with my wife's SIM card. Took it to my carrier's store and discovered that the phone had a PERMANENTLY BLOCKED ESN # due to non-payment. Simple deductive reasoning was applied - so, this business not only sold me a USED phone (not new as listed) but they sold me a BLOCKED USED phone. Called the company again and they insisted that they mixed up my phone with someone else's order (I guess people enjoy buying phones that are locked and can NEVER be used again per my phone carrier). They again made NO ATTEMPT to right their mistake and insisted that I pay to ship the item back to them. They claimed they would credit my credit card the cost I paid for the phone PLUS MY SHIPPING COSTS. They assured me that the price of shipping would be credited back to me. No manager to complain to on the phone either (just the Arabic male) so I was out of options.

I shipped the phone back to them immediately via 2-day shipping. They signed for the phone and never contacted me or gave the credit. When I emailed to see if they got the phone they said "we will issue a credit when the phone is returned").

2 weeks later (after numerous telephone calls complaining to them and filing a complainant) the credit showed up on my credit card - THEY DID NOT COVER THE COST OF SHIPPING AS PROMISED.

DO NOT,...I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Cell2Get is how the charge showed up on my credit card and ElectronicsForce.com is the website I ordered from. AVOID THEM BOTH IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE.

Review: I received an Iphone from electronicsforce.com. Within one week of receiving the phone, it became defective and would not turn on. I contacted the company and was told that I have two days and if I mail it back I would receive a refund or an exchange. I paid for [redacted] to send the phone back. When the phone was received, in 2 days I received a call back stating that they would replace it. However, I told them that I was told I could have a refund when they received the phone. I was then told that I was wasting my time and they would not refund me the money. I read verbatim from their policy on their website. "Returns/Exchanges are permitted within 14 days from the date of merchandise was delivered. All returns AND undelivered and refused packages are subject to a Minimum 15% restocking fee and non refundable shipping, handling and insurance." I was then told that I damaged the phone. I advised them that the phone had no scratches or cracks and that a phone should not break within a week. It was clearly defective. I was told again that they don't do that and I was wasting my time despite their company policy posted on their website. I was told a week ago that I could return the phone as long as I sent it back to them within the next couple days and now I am being told something completely different. I feel this is unethical and is not the way that business should be done. If you have a policy in place, it is a binding contract that it is the policy you will follow in regards to returns. I was also told verbally on the phone (another contract) that I would receive my money back.Desired Settlement: A complete refund on the defective phone that I was sent and compliance with a verbal agreement as well as compliance with their online policy in regards to returns.

Helloper website T&S we refunded customer credit card

Review: I ordered 1 x Apple iPhone 4 (CDMA Unlocked) - Black 16GB on 1/*/14. When I received it, I found that I can't login into the iCloud account because there is an email address of someone written and it requires me to enter his password in order to deactivate it first before I can enter my account information (which suggests it is used before). I addition, I can't use "Find My iPhone" service due to the previous issue. Secondly, I found that the charger is not original and it is defective as well.Desired Settlement: It is the responsibility of the company to keep its word and not to sell used items with non-original accessories as new.
