On September 21, the customer contacted Endurance and purchased an Endurance Select Premier vehicle service contract for his [redacted] with 136,milesIn January, the customer brought his car into a repair facility because the engine light was on and the car "was slow to crank" The shop tested the customer's vehicle and reported the vehicle's engine was completely locked upThe shop suspected that the timing chains were either stretched or possibly broken In order to diagnose the cause of failure the shop had to tear down the customer's vehicle The tear down confirmed that the chain was stretched and not broken Per the tech and a third party inspector the chain was stretched to the point of almost falling off and had been that way long enough to round off the timing gears When the engine was turned by hand the repairman could feel when the pistons made contact with the valves, indicating the operation with the stretched chains has caused timing issues allowing valve to piston contact and subsequent engine damage The customer's vehicle service contract excludes wear and tear The timing chain stretching was due to wear and tear There was not catastrophic failure to the chain and there was substantial evidence to indicate the vehicle had been driving in this condition for a long period of time The customer's claim was denied due to wear and tear In the interest of customer service, Endurance's Customer Service Manager cancelled the customer's contract, waived the usage fee and cancellation fee and issued a full refund As a goodwill gesture, Endurance's Customer Service Manager also offered to match the amount the customer paid into the contract toward the repair claim

On February 23, 2018, a repair representative from [redacted] of Fort Worth contacted the Endurance Claims Department to file a claim on the consumer’s [redacted] *** The repair representative advised the Endurance Claims Adjuster that the a/c compressor coil was failedThe coil was getting power and ground but was not activating to push the a/c clutch into the compressor to allow compressor rotationThe representative provided detailed electrical diagnosis information to verify that the failure was to the coilAs a result, Endurance issue a claim denial as the coil is not listed for coverage on the consumer’s Endurance Select Premier policy Upon being informed that the coil was not listed for coverage, the repair representative from [redacted] of Fort Worth changed his story and diagnosis to claim that the compressor clutch itself failed, and that the coil was working as designedDue to the change in diagnosis after a denial was issued, the Endurance Claims Adjuster requested an independent third party inspection be performed by a third party inspection agency Upon arriving at the repair facility the inspector was presented with the diagnosis by the repair technician working on Mr [redacted] vehicleThe technician showed the independent inspector that the a/c clutch was in good condition, with no indication of failureThe clutch is a simple friction componentIt is moved by the electromagnet of the coil and engages the compressor through pressure and frictionThe only way for the clutch to fail is for the face of the clutch to burn from dragging across the compressor, or for the clutch material to wear away preventing it from keeping pressure on the compressorThere were no burn marks on the clutch and it was not worn in any wayBoth the technician and the inspector agreed the clutch was in good conditionThe repair technician then showed the independent inspector that while the coil was receiving power and ground when the a/c was turned on, it was not engaging the clutch The failure was verified by both the repair technician and the third inspector to be an electrical failure of the coilFurthermore, the coil is serviceable completely separate from the clutch on this vehicle The claim denial was reissued as the failure to the non-covered part was confirmedEndurance's Customer Service Representative contacted the consumer, explained the denial and in the interest of customer service agreed to cancel the contract, waive time used on the contract and cancellation fees, and issued the consumer a full refund

Endurance was very helpful in explaining policies and all options for my vehicleAfter signing up for a policy I had to cancel days later due to selling the car but the refund of my payment was quick and hassle freeHighly recomend

My mother received a letter from this company indicating that her warranty was about to expire She is elderly and called the phone number on the letter and ended up purchasing an extended warranty for a car that she recently purchased A car that is still under the factory 3/36k warranty I called this company today to cancel the policy and obtain a refund The person I spoke with became very combative when I pointed out that their advertising is deceptive He continued to argue with me to the point that I got concerned he wasn't going to issue the refund I would not recommend this company and am concerned by their advertising tactics Sending letters to people with brand new cars that are still under warranty and leading them to believe that the warranty will expire in a few days is deceptive

Endurance has offered everything in our company's means to the customer If the customer is not happy with the contract he was sold and wants to cancel his vehicle service contract, Endurance will waive any applicable cancel fees and issue a pro-rated refund, which is approximately 92% of total of what the customer paid If the customer has an issue with the denied claim, please contact Interstate National Dealer Services Interstate National Dealer Services administered the claim and is obligated to pay for approved claims

In response, we have received the documentation and have mailed out the refund to the customerEndurance will always provide each and every customer with the highest level of customer service

The service that I have had from Eddie [redacted] has always been OUTSTANDINDING and I will recommend his service

MrBill [redacted] was an exceptional representative He made sure I was getting the best coverage for my SUV as possible....base on his customer service I would recommend Endurance to my family and friends

Ms [redacted] refund check was accidentally sent to her former address and not the current one On yesterday, March 7th, the refund check was resent to the correct verified addressThe Manager of our customer service department has reached out to Ms [redacted] to apologize for any unprofessional contact she had with any of Endurance's employeesMs [redacted] has accepted our apology and has direct contact with the department manager

The customer has an Interstate National Dealer Services (INDS) Xtra Supreme contract INDS is the administrator/obligor of the vehicle service contract which means INDS administers (approves or denies) the claims and is obligated to pay for the approved claims Endurance contacted INDS on the customer's behalf Interstate has agreed to reopen the claim and an inspection has been ordered The customer is pleased with our efforts

My extended warranty was paid for in full, it costed about $3,and they did their best Not to cover things I needed fixed on my car that they portrayed would be covered but oddly that isn't even my main concern I was under the impression that my warranty would cover up to one hundred thousand miles so as I take it to my mechanic I'm feeling a sense of assurity that I'll be okay since I have my warranty Later to find out from my mechanic that my warranty expired in April because years had passed since I signed up for this warranty that I only used for my alternator in the passed So basically I have only used this warranty ONE TIME and it was for an ALTENATOR So basically I paid $3,for an ALTENATOR!! And now it's expired!!! I am beyond MAD! BEYOND!!! I feel like I've been taken advantage of This was the worst financial decision I've ever made!!
