EOS has been charging me $a month for a year for some person named Dave W*** that I don't know and has made me jump through hoops to get these charges reversedThey admitted the mistake ONLY after I proved my bank card was used by one of THEIR Employees to sign this person up
In addition they have charged me $a month for Personal training that I did not sign up forI went in and they showed me the information regarding my account and admitted their mistake but I am getting the run around as to when I will be getting my refunds
I looked in *** and made a discovery that several people had the same story and have yet to be refunded
I called to cancel my membership due to an active duty deployment in support of a contingency operation I informed the person taking my call my status and that I would like to cancel my membership I asked that I no longer be charged as I would be out of the country They informed me they would still charge my account through December 2, I will have already been out of the country for over a month by that time I reminded the person of the Service members Relief Act protecting military members and that I can cancel out of contracts and leases due to military deployments The person on the phone ignored my request and stated they would be charging me anyway and that my contract would be enforced This is extremely rude and as a military service member I am upset with this company and its lack of understanding

I have had separate contracts with this gym since January I have never been I attempted to cancel this contract when they first delayed their gym opening and they told me no I still had to pay the $fee that was laid out in their contract I paid both fees as well as every month since via automatic payment Over a month ago I elected to cancel both contracts at which point they wanted to charge me another $for each to cancel and my $fee per month for more months as part of the contract Initially as angry as I was as I have NEVER even been to EOS, I agreedHowever, on July 1st, EOS never attempted to take my automatic payment out of my account and proceeded to e-mail me and call me about sending me to collections when they have my method of payment on file This is due to their error which has now been confirmed by multiple people on the phone as being their ERROR I would like some thing in return for this inconvenience This isn't proper business practi
The remainder was taken care of yesterday and should be hitting your account by Monday
I mailed letters 2/28, 4/7, 5/7, and May 12, I had signed up for training sessions before the company became EOS, When I went last year to inquired I was told they could not find my account and that it was closed due to inactivity
I explained that I did received one session with T.J which leaves me with more sessions of training They said there was nothing else to do because computer was updatedThat is why I wrote lettersWhich I think it is not fair they keep my money , even if they changed names or updated computer

I joined EOS Fitness in September of I joined on the basis of a month to month membershipI was billed per my agreementI called to cancel my membership today and was told to cancel my membership I would be charged a fifteen dollar fee PLUS I would be charged my monthly rate of because I did not provide them with a 30-day noticeI was told, specifically by the person who assisted mewith the membership that I could cancel at anytime since I was a month-to-month member I explained to EOS fitness that I did not have the available time to use their gymI asked if I could freeze my membership, however ,they advised I would be charged another $per month up to five monthsIf I can't use the gym, or don't have access to the gym after I cancel, I should not be charged
So I went in on August 6, it is now August 9th and I decided I didn't like going to the clubWhen I signed up the guy told me I had days to decide and cancel and get my money backWell it's been less than that and I had to call a number to cancelthe number did me absolutely no good to call and cancelWhat's the point if you can't cancel right thenThey said they have to get it approved first through emailI'm not buying thisI want a refund of my money and to be done with this scam artist businessNo wonder why they have so many horrible reviews I get it nowSo much for no contract
If I could give this place a ZERI would!! First time I came in I wanted to try out the gym to see where it was and the sneaky guy who was touring me around the gym tried to sign me upITS MY FIRST TIME THERE, WHY WOULD I SIGN UP? Soon after I signed up for a free training session to see if I would like the gym with Zach and as we were training he was looking around at women's butts and licking his lips and acting as if he was a God or somethingSmh Ugh, I never had his full attentionI came for a training session, not to be ignored! After half-*** training me he TOO tried to sign me up for real sessions and I REGRETFULLY didAnyway, the lowest package was like and it was for a couple weeks I believeWhen I went to the training the woman took me in and AGAIN she HALF-ASSED her session and yelled at me the entire timeIgnoring my concerns and looking around bored (trying to get over this "stupid" session)She then told me to hop on the stair machine (She was getting ready for a new client "victim" and didn't have time for me anymore) and stay on for minutesWhich I did and then she told me good job and told me to go home (she was in the middle of her next training sessionHalf-assing as usual)Zach (the guy who signed me up) promised he would and she would give me a meal plan ALL OF WHICH NEVER HAPPENED$for minutes of f
kery, I THINK NOT! I reviewed the contract and THANK GOD it was within the 3-day cancellation periodLong story short, I got all my money back!! No way I was paying for that b
t! Main goal of this was to tell you DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS b
t MONEY HUNGRY NON-QUALITY GYM AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON'T SIGN UP FOR ANY SERVICES ESPECIALLY TRAINING! IF YOU DID YOU CAN CANCEL JUST READ THE FINE PRINTI DID AND I GOT ALL MY MONEY BACKYOU ALL ARE BETTER THAN THIS.BEWARE!
My complaint is towards the company’s misguided information, and not providing the service I signed forIn September I spoke to a personal trainer from EOS and was encouraged to sign up for the programI believed this trainer had superior knowledge and could learn from himTherefore, I agreed to sign up During the process I was informed another trainer would do my assessments and the trainer I signed with, would take care of the workout exercisesI had no problem with thatWhen I asked how long the sessions were before signing up, I was told one hourI believed the contract was reasonable based on what I was told and moved forward with it
I trained with the trainer for a few weeks, but last week he left the company with no noticeWould I have known that he was going to leave, I would’ve never signed up
When I attempted to cancel, I was told I couldn’t and was assigned to another trainerI later found out sessions were actually minutes long with the new trainerT
I did not have an account with EOS fitness and I started receiving calls and emails saying that my account was past dueI called EOS and their collections department, also sent email responses, letting them know that I have not signed up for a membership since I had lived in Indio for the last years and had a membership at a gym in Indio (hour fitness)I asked repeatedly for them to investigate the issue and to find out if anyone had come into the gym using this account for access and they would not cooperate
Hello,As per your membership agreement, the cancellation terms are statedthere is a Day cancel notice required. Sincerely,EOS Fitness
I cannot emphasize enough how poor my experience has been with EOS fitness and their billing/management company, ABC FinancialI cannot fault them, and only myself, for agreeing to their terms, but unless you are prepared to commit to paying your monthly fee, for the rest of your life, you will be subjected to cancellation charges, which will also extend your billing charges, and there is zero way to escape them unless you are filing bankruptcy
The staff is underpaid and your experiences will varyWhile some, typically younger and enthusiastic, may be helpful and make for some positive impressions, the older and experienced staff all seem to be disgruntled and unwilling to helpIt's a typical gym, with typical equipment, and a revolving door for personal trainers, do not get too attached to any one member as they will be swapped out on you on a bi-weekly basis
Be very wary of joining this gymUnethical, unrealistic, and unimaginably difficult to deal with
I have provided the proper documentation to this health clubThey are continuing to debit my account even after the contract period has endedThey have caused my account to be overdrafted and will not reimburse the charges let alone the overdraft fees that I have incurred because of their shady practices
Upon agreeing to service with this business, I was advised that with my membership, I was entitled to "unlimited" guest and no further details On 05/26/myself and a regular guest of mine were at the gym as well as bringing a "one time guest" that was in town in for the weekend, to workoutAnd on this unfortunate day after my interaction with not only the reception but the "GM" I will no longer do business, yet alone recommend my colleagues to do business hereLet me first start by saying this particular facility isn't ideal for the area it caters toOver crowded and majority of the time the equipment doesn't workI proceed to check myself in as well as my regular guest and my one time guest that was in town, when I advised that I can only have one guest per visitI objected, advising I was informed that I get "unlimited guest, in which I was informed it was guest per visitI asked, given it was Memorial weekend and I had a guest in town for a time workout, could they mak
In July we signed up for personal trainingAnthony, the program manager at that time offered personal training where my husband and I could work out together for 30min, twice a weekEOS got a new manager in October that decided not to honor this contractRepeated visits, phone calls and requests from EOS trainer, Jenna did not lead to any resolutionPhone calls were never returned and then we got a call from ABC their billing company with a threat of sending the matter to a collection agencyAfter repeated attempts we got the manager in December, Brian G*** to give us in writing that they would honor the original offerWe agreed to start the training in January and EOS billed our credit card in DecemberLast week (January 18) when we went to schedule the sessions, the new manager, Brian J*** said the letter was irrelevant and our training sessions expired in October and NovemberHe is unable to helpEach time the manager changes, the policies change and I am frustra
