On 4/29/I came into the EoS Fitness on Washington St in Downtown Phx and approached an Olivia Baxter at the front deskI attempted to bring my guest into the gym and she proceeded to tell me that although the membership at Thunderbird allowed me to bring my guest in, they have a different policy at the Downtown EOSShe said I had to upgrade my membership to their membership but that it would cancel out my other membership and I would not have to pay any cancellation charge or the charge for Thunderbird because it was an "upgrade"She sou

I signed up for personal training with EOS for a 4-month contractI was informed before I started personal training that I had weeks to cancel, however when I tried to cancel within days of starting they did not allow me to do so and said it was not possibleI then decided just to finish out the 4-month contractThe contract was supposed to end at the end of July and I was told in June that I had to put in a 30-day notice of cancellation of personal training even though I had only signed up for a 4-month contractI was never informed of having to put in the 30-day notice when I first signed up for the personal training as well so if I hadn't have asked in June I would never have known thatI put in my day notice at the end of June with a fitness managerWhen my personal training was supposed to be up, my trainer noted that I was still getting training sessions into my account so around the beginning of July I talked to another fitness manager as I noticed that I had been c
I signed up for gym membership in May and was told I could cancel at any timeI was given a training contract which could also be canceled at any time by contacting he person who signed me up, the manager of the gym ***In June I found out I was pregnant and due to complications I was unable to go to gym nor my trainingI was told by my trainer to keep having payments taken out and that was itIn July I contacted the gym six times leaving messages and went in person but no one would see me to resolve the issueI then contacted *** Financial and explained due to my high risk pregnancy and financial crisis and the fact I hadn’t received services I needed to cancel both contractsI was told due to nature of issue and contract stating it needs to be permanent disability I can not get money back nor cancel contractI was appalled and was never informed of permanent disability requirement and would never have signed up if that were the case! I have tried to go throug

When I signed up for a Health Club membership I was offered a "special promotion" that included a series of sessions with a Personal Trainer, however I was NEVER informed during the course of the conversation that I had ONLY DAYS TO CANCEL this promotionThe only thing this guy mention is that everything will be sent to me via emailAs I had one session with a personal trainer, I was not satisfied with the service and decided that I only wanted to keep my regular health club membershipI contacted the EOS office and was told by the person who signed me up that it was too late, and nothing can be doneSo then I proceed to email EOS, and the manager called me, I explain to him my frustration and dissatisfaction with the service, unfortunately his answer was the he can "postpone' the sessions for a later time, but can't cancel the "promotion"This is a very terrible way to run a business, I have joined the club since May 20th, and EOS already charged $to my checking account
I have been a member since February I was convinced after joining the club to add nutrition and individual trainingI was told that I could cancel any of my contracts with a day noticeOn May 12, I informed the manager Jose that due to medical financial hardship I wanted to cancel training and nutrition, but I found out that I was under contract for the training thru AugustI then requested to cancel my nutrion contract and that they place a hold on my training accountJose explained that it would take days and that they will take out two additional payments until thenI agreed and signed the paperwork
EOS continued to charge meDue to medical reasons I am unable to do the training as I am suppose to and got a letter from my doctor that they discontinue the contractI also suffer from a mental disability which is a protected classI submitted the paperwork and turned in to Kenji the new managerEOS has denied my doctor's request and they will continue
I joined this gym in February The contract states that you have days from the sign up date to cancel your membership up to the 5th day at midnight By going in the gym and bringing a letterI walked into the gym at the 5th day at 11:00p.mwith a letter just to be given a card with an number and an email address to call They would not take my letter I tried to call the number but they wee closed until Monday I called Monday and tried to cancel the gym and the personal trainer and was told I could not cancel the personal trainer because that was not an option I was never told this when I signed upI was told that this was all month to month and I can cancel at any time I have called their number three times with no helpI called the gym itself and left my name for the general manager with no return calls and I went in and talk to Erica and left my card for Rachel the manager with no return call They have scammed me and I am very upset and want out of this
I called the Sports Arena gym location in San Diego, CA and spoke to Lindsey advising her that I wanted to cancel my membership which was in October approximatelyLindsey confirmed to me that my membership had been canceled per my request and that I would no longer be billed for monthly membership nor be able to utilize the gymI specifically asked her if I needed to come in and sign anything and she stated that this would not be required that my phone call would suffice in my request to cancel my membershipIt was shocking to receive a phone call on 3/7/from the credit director at *** Financial stating that I needed to pay $for past due monthly membership fees and if I did not pay this amount providing a credit card number to him during the call he was going to report it to credit agencies resulting in my credit score taking a point lossI explained to him that I had canceled my membership and he replied that this would be inaccurate because the file had bee
I have called and spoke a few people at the club and attempted contacting the corporate to discuss an issue I had with the membership and what I was told I spoke to a sales person about the membership because I was looking only for certain things The fisrt being I only wantd the membership during the summer and second I wanted to start with the higher memebership and possibly drop it to the lower memebeshipI was told at the Gilbert location multiple statements to inlcude I can upgrade or downgrade my membership at any time and that I could stop my membership at any time When I went in to attempt to downgrade my membership I was told I could not and when I wanted to cancel it I was told I could not with out paying a cancelation fee I was lied to by the sales person I spoke to I just recieved a call that this is going into collections and refuse to pay for it because a verbal contract of what I was told I could do To stop this company from stealing more money from m
I have had made several attempts to cancel my membership with the EOS Fitness CenterMy phone calls to the franchise/business on located on Durango Drive, result in a representive asking me to call the corporate lineThe corporate line leads to a representative that informs you of cancellation fees, who then offers a downgrade option to alleviate the feesI have already selected Anytime fitness as it is closer to my home, and I also confirm to downgrade/cancel my account, whichever is most cost effectiveAfter several months pass, I notice that my account was neither downgraded nor cancelled, but charged the same amountAfter submitting a cancel request on 6/29/to cancel/return funds to my account, the company responds on 7/20/stating that there are no notes on my cancellation nor to reduce fundsThe 7/20/reconfirms is I still wish to cancel, as I confirm in responseToday on 7/22/18, the a response email from the customer service confirms my request to cancel, stating
