Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Apparently, some time ago Mr. [redacted] spoke with an independent marketer about our wonderful program for homeowners. Although he claims to have spoken to our company 11/30/15, 12/18/15 and 1/14/16, we have no record of any of these alleged contact attempts. We always find it quite strange when...

people complain about receiving a check in the mail from us.Our member support team is available to speak with our members 7 days a week, so it makes no sense that he claims to have been unable to speak with anyone for several weeks. We always promptly return any calls we receive, so it also makes no sense that 'no one called' him back.Mr. [redacted] also incorrectly states that should he choose to sell his home in the future, that he would have to use our chosen broker, reality is he could use any broker in our program that he chooses. He incorrectly states that he'd have to use our broker and pay 'their chosen rate' when reality is Mr. [redacted] would choose a broker he desires, and pay a rate he agrees upon with that broker. We do not choose the broker, we do not choose the rate. We do indeed contractually prohibit our contracted cooperating brokers from charging any commission rate higher than the normal rate in their market, and none of our brokers ever over charge our homeowner members. As we provide nothing other than benefits to our homeowner members, and our homeowner members have never paid us anything, including Mr. [redacted], we have happily canceled his being a part of our program, and we wish him the best of luck with the future sale of his home, which unfortunately for him, will cost him more than if he was a member of our wonderful program for homeowners.Thank you.

[redacted] However, they did not attempt to email me several times. I received one email this morning from them at 7:24am. I called the number they provided and had to leave a voicemail again. No one ever answers. I give them my phone number on both voicemails. So if they tried to call an old number that my ex husband gave them that was his. Is not my fault. I left them my number. He is not associated with my house what so ever. He has no legal ties to do anything with my house. He's name is not on the deed. Thank you for canceling the "contract". They might not see it as a scam. They aren't forth coming with what hey are "selling". Thank you for your time and your help with this situation.

No homeowner has ever paid us one penny.   We pay our homeowner members between $300 and $10,000 to be a member (amount determined by the value of the member home when they join our program).   [redacted] spoke with an independent contractor marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful program for homeowners. The marketer is no longer marketing our program.   We give our members cash benefits to spend on whatever they want to buy themselves, on average years before they sell their home! And they can keep it even if they never sell their home! When the home sells in the future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry standard referral fee.    We ALWAYS put our homeowner members, our clients, first, above all else.   Pursuant to [redacted]s wishes, we have cancelled Kristen’s registration in our program, and as a result, as [redacted] desires, we will not be paying [redacted] $300 to $10,000 (for which [redacted] would have paid $0).   Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The sales representative at my door reported being an Exceed representative so that still concerns me, but I will take the companies word for it that he was not specifically contracted through them.

Homeowners pay us $0 to join our program, $0 to be a member, $0 of they sell their home some day using any cooperating broker they choose among our more than 5,000 cooperating broker offices across the USA, $0 if they never sell their home.
No homeowner has ever been...

asked to pay us one penny. No homeowner has ever paid us one penny.

[redacted] spoke with an independent contractor marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful program for homeowners. According to [redacted], the third party marketer failed to accurately explain the program to [redacted]. The marketer is no longer marketing our program.
Pursuant to [redacted]'s wishes, we have cancelled her registration in our program, and as a result, as [redacted] desires, we will not be paying her $1,000 for which she would have paid $0.
Thank you.

Homeowners pay us $0 to join our program, $0 to
be a member, $0 if they sell their home some day using any cooperating broker
they choose among our more than 5,000 cooperating broker offices across the
USA, $0 if they never sell their home.
No homeowner has ever been asked to pay us one
penny. No homeowner has ever paid us one penny.
We pay our members between $300 and $10,000 to be
a member (amount determined by the value of the member home when they join our
program).
According to our records, [redacted] spoke with an independent contractor
marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us) about our wonderful
program for homeowners. The marketer is no longer marketing our
program.
Any agent with a broker listed as one of
our cooperating brokers who claims they 'never heard of Exceed' is
either honestly ignorant of the facts, or is simply a
fraudulent liar.
We, as a licensed real estate broker, enter into
cooperating broker referral agreements only with other brokers, and never with
agents. We are in long term agreements with more than 1,000 real estate
brokerages across the United States, comprising more than 5,000 offices,
and in those offices are more than 250,000 licensed real estate agents. Among
our more than 1,000 contracted cooperating brokers are 70% of the 100
largest brokerages in the United States (almost all of the other 30% are in
states in which we are not active).
Any agent who recommends a homeowner not be
in our program does so to put more of the homeowner's money into
the agent's own pocket (taking it out of the homeowner's pocket).
We give our members cash benefits to spend
on whatever they want to buy themselves, on average years before they sell
their home! And they can keep it even if they never sell their home! When
the home sells in the future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry
standard referral fee.
We ALWAYS put our homeowner members, our clients,
first, above all else. Apparently, whatever agent [redacted] spoke with does
not do the same, and instead puts his or her needs above [redacted] needs.
Seems pretty obvious why an agent who puts
their needs above the client's needs may not like our program. The
agent gets less, the homeowner gets more.
So, if [redacted] thinks it is better for [redacted] to NOT receive $500 from us, for which he would pay us $0, then [redacted] indeed should not be a
member of our Smart Homeowners Program (we named the program for our members).
Pursuant to his wishes, we have cancelled his registration in our
program, and as a result, as [redacted] desires, we will not be paying [redacted] $500 (for which he would have paid $0).
Thank you.

Please note that we did not sign up for this service.  When I did the search of the Revdex.com database, their company name would not appear, so I had no choice but to believe it was not a Revdex.com member in good standing.
